I just replaced my 25 year old hs622 with a new hss724 and it is a bit of a learning curve with the new machine but once you get the hang of it they are easy to use.
I just realized after watching your demonstration that my brand new HSS1332 AUGER lock does not work. I guess it's back to the dealer (under warranty) to have that checked out. Thanks again!
Beautiful work! I have a new hhs1332, 14 hrs on it. Have an older hhs1132… No steering clutches… A beast to steer! However, it’s been a learning curve to operate this new machine. It is easier. But it does not have near the power under load of deeper snow. Not even close.
The HSS928 owner’s manual is very clear about NOT feathering the steering control lever but I didn’t find a clear explanation of the importance of engaging the drive clutch while the hydrostatic transmission is in neutral
Where's all your snow? Blown away? lol... Got an HS928... love it. It's 12 or 13 yrs old. I think a 724 would have been big enough in retrospect for my snow (Ottawa, ON) , but every now and then the 928 gets used closer to her limits.
Is it still under warranty? if not i would still ask your dealer about this. They may fix for free. usually pretty easy ( not always ). good idea for a future video. thanks for watching.
Just upgraded from an HS55 to a slightly newer HS724. The HS724 CTD is a 2011 Canadian model on tracks and has pretty much everything the brand new models have except the throttle is on the left side, instead of the middle, and there are no steering assist clutches (oh and its a halogen light, not a LED light). My old HS55 would keep both drive and auger clutches depressed/locked no matter which one was held down after I had engaged both. On my HS724 only the auger clutch can lock and the drive clutch never does. Is this how it is meant to operate or is this something that is not working as intended? P.S. Thanks for making a Honda Snow Blower nerd channel, it gives me something to do between watching the forecast for the next snow. :)

Common issue on the new machines. It's hard to explain how to remedy. Dealer probably fix it in a snap. Good idea for future video !
Thanks for being a channel member. MVP.

The older one has more power than the 1332 is what you are saying?
Not sure if I said that???
