Get a full enquiry going and discuss exactly why this happened and the race based reason behind it. Only then, can we work to solving these issues.
Instead of saying 'everything's fine' while our house is on fire.
Why free speech
Censorship and the thoughts of a dictator. You complete fool the left hate it when someone doesn't agree with them. Cry more

Sanctions on tesla
Musk is off his tiny rocker.
Lol think somehow he's more brainy than you
@@Edward-cv2gw He's not sending you any money, you can stop trying so hard.
He's just on a power rush... which won't end well for him
Ban x and tesla sales in the uk
If he keeps attacking EU nations, they will block his sales across Europe and do it quicker than we will.
100%
and across Europe.
Yes. Sanctions should be imposed on musk as he is a real threat to our national security
Or better people should show their disgust for Musk and ditch their teslas now for better electric cars. Put your money were you are. When the sales stop he wil l shut the f-up
Finally, an MP with integrity delivering a rational and compassionate response being given a platform. Bravo Ed Davey.
I think most MPs are decent people. But the media want stories and scandal and outrageous stuff. So they go to Farage and Reform.
Why can’t we give more airtime to the reasonable people?
Calling him outragous is a compliment to him and his half-witted followers. It's what he is trying to be. That and shocking. Ignore him.
Only increases his huge EGO
I think we need to speak to our friends in Europe and the Commonwealth and just block Twitter.
Not sure about the Commonwealth, doing that seems a bit weird. But I agree that we should have a chat with the EU about twitter and the amount of power concentrated in one unelected guy.
Yes. America can take their ball and play on their own.
Although i agree with the sentiment, however, our Freinds in a commonwealth ( that barely exists in any more than a historical geopolitical name) that were left when GB became a state of Europe ( of which You have now also snubbed) is an empty call. Stand up to President Miss Musk and his goon Trumpit, stop letting your media go on and on and on about it! Stop givn it so much attention , which is exactly what these guys thrive on.Thought you guys had that “ stiff upper lip” and all that, This attention gives them power that actually WILL yield influence on your internals and yr population. Howzabout tryin to be Great , great Britain, put you money where ya mouth is.
Can someone investigate the indecent images all over musks social media company.
Well done Ed Davey, if only Musk could act as intelligently and grown up and use actual facts instead of making things up to suit his own twisted agenda. All this does is hurt the victims of this horrific abuse. The best thing to do is implement all the recommendations from the reports that have already been carried out to make sure there are no more victims. And MP's need to stop going on about their town not being mentioned... it's not about a specific town it's about the country as a whole and how we can stop this ever happening again.
He is having a tantrum. Treat it appropriately. Honestly believe he needs his nap.
He's correct.
Less nap, more double-tap. Dude has lost it. Grimes leaving him broke his tiny mind. That and all the ketamine abuse.
hehe

Why has LBC suddenly become a live feed for Elon Musk’s tweets?
Money.
So the media have decided to SHOUT about Musk all day every day. Thanks media…
The world is run by madmen!!
This😄
He's quite clearly trying to push buttons to GET a reaction. If you react you are just fueling the story. It is sad in a country and a world with so many genuine issues that our politicians are wasting time on these conversations.
They’ve ignored a lot but you can’t ignore threats to overthrow our Govt and take over the UK!
Very true can you imagine all these conservatives jumping on the bandwagon of the inquiries they did nothing to stop the crimes
Calling Ed Davey a sniveling idiot is an insult to sniveling idiots
SHUT MUSK OUT of the UK as an UNDESIRABLE.
REGULATE the X website to ensure it meets UK broadcasting standards.
PENALISE it if it breaks the Law by HUGH FINES and TERMINATION.
Musk should be worried about Himself and Trump and his mate Epstein client list. DOE 174
And yet if either had been on that list their names would have been released years ago. Davey should be more worried.
Why ? Quite a few names have already come out as having been on the Epstein Island flight logs . Those two names have never appeared .
Musk is rich yet so cheap in how he behaves
I'm chuffed to bits that this MP has the fortitude to put Elon Musk in his place.
Engaging with Musk online won't work. He'll like that.
The side effects of ketamine are disturbing
Thanks for the heads up, Elon 😜
Anyone who says that grooming gangs started with Pakistani gangs is an opportunist who is not serious about rooting out the entire shameful problem.
I agree. It is a shameful problem across the country, ethnicity and social strata. To focus on one aspect of it is to deny the suffering and exploitation of a wider group of victims.
History will not be kinda to Space Karen and VP Trump
We can only Hope....what comes around, goes around....
History is written by the victors. Cry a little harder!
Everyone focusing on Pakistani men and ignoring all the abuse that goes on in families..
All crimes aren't equal. British problems occur ofcourse but bringing in the world's problems while they grape and pillage our country is despicable
The whole system is a mess and not fit to protect anyone
Ikr, every woman I know thats been abused, it wasent strangers from a different culture ;/
You are right. Lot goes on families.
Would life without twitter and Facebook really be that bad ?🤔 (Serious question)
I never understood with the MAGA people, they hate the "woke" electric car........But they love Elon Musk.......
Ed Davey did nothing ..
Looking forward to the tesla UK end of year sales chart😂😂😂
A great car and the best EV's available. Tory Government stopped electric car grants so given their cost and the lack of money in pockets I think they'll be down regardless along with sales of most things
The kind of people who lose sleep over Elon Musk can't afford Tesla's 😂
I have a Tesla…and I now can’t stand Musk. He should maybe try sorting out his own country first
, before lecturing others on what they should do in their countries!
@wulfhere83 i bet you don't owe one

Excellent response from Ed
You Ed Davey fan boys need to remember that he was one of the architects of austerity and therefore largely responsible for the mess were in .
Since when has what the British Public thinks been anything short of deluded waffle from those suffering clear amnesia.
I just think we are so alone and week outside the EU.
I agree.
Very gammon-y spelling for an enlightened remainer!
A politician that actually answers the questions they're asked. Do we realise what a luxury this is?
That sounds about right for Davey.
'sir' davey wriggled out of any blame for doing nothing about the post office scandal.
Well done Sir Ed 👍
I am utterly sick of hearing and seeing Farridge.. we need to see more of Ed Davey
Maybe would love to see this man as prime minister
We’ve already got one thank you.
Someone needs to be reminded of the history of Ed Davey’s Party. The Patriot Movement was founded in parliament back in 1725. Their views on Civic Liberties and Democracy was to inspire American Independence. In 1825 the Patriot Party changed their name to the Liberal Party (Liberty).
Foreign cash gosh I'm outraged, Like parliament is not an international brothel to begin with.
That is such an accurate description because that's what it is , ashamed I had not thought of that myself .
So let's just sell it all to the same guy? Just because he agrees with you this week?
Edd Divvy, Crawled under a rock during the horizon scandal and, is another MP who ignored the recent child abuse cover up...he prefers to jet ski and laugh about it.
Why are you mourning about Musk you sold your newspapers to Murdoch…😂
Nobody will mourn Musk.
This is the first time I've seen Mr Davey conducting business in a normal setting rather than hurtling down a log flume or dangling from a bungee rope.
He had to do all that to offset his massive dullness..
Broadcasters have an obligation to be impartial and fair. Or at least they should in a civilized country. Airtime should be allotted due to the number of Parliamentary Seats held and exceptions allowed to be made for genuine newsworthy stories. This should definitely apply to the BBC and should be part of the license agreement for independent broadcasters. I'm sick of tiny right wing extremist parties hogging the airwaves.
Elon's Father ended up marrying (well he had two children with her) his Step-Daughter. He became her Step-Father when she was four apparently.
Eww. Well that's not suspicious at all 🧐
This is insane
Anything that points out the pomposity at the heart of UK society is very welcome
Ban x and Tesla
America should not interfere in British politics because we all know that Britain has never, nor never will, interfere with American politics. The very thought that England would do this is preposterous.
Andrew Marr for some reason says he spoke to a lawyer who claimed Pakistani men are more likely. However the Jay report found the opposite that Asian men who actually less likely. So why is it that he is asking random un-namez lawyers and not looking at the facts of the report.
If we had a government that was open, fair and honest, maybe you wouldn’t get pushed around by an American.
I cancelled my TESLA order and will never purchase anything from any company associated with Elon Musk. 🤮
I bet that will worry the richest man on the planet😂

In my opinion Ed Davey should be the Opposition Leader, he has more about him than any Tory
I think what he is saying is right, glad to hear a sensible reaction to all this nonsense.
Someone needs to call it out for what it is. Musk has gone beyond expression of free speech and is engaging in slander. I agree with you pertaining to Sir Ed Davey's comments.
"one of our closest allies" You should ask Mr Farage about that.
I... would sooner have Ed Davey any day than musk....He never gets Air time.
saturated coverage for farage.
Bravo to Ed Davey for calling out the totally unacceptable behaviour from Musk. The very least that should happen is the summoning of the Ambassador to the Foreign Office. Perhaps Starmer, Lammy & Co will show some backbone (I won’t hold my breath!) rather than behave as dog walkers (or worse!) to the U.S.
This chap is not brave, Don't forget how he let down the poor Post office worker and is to blame for the state of this country
@JosephODonohue-zf5on I cannot but agree with you on this matter. His performance at the post office enquiry was little short of pathetic. The performance of the Vince Cable was also one of arrogance. All politicians were to blame but those allied to Labour were the worst but no analysis from the media highlights this because they were similarly so.
British values? Look at what our politicians have said about Trump over the years. Musk is saying nothing worse
What have they sad ?
Take the knee Ed davy poor thing...!! Hurty words, give me break...another sort politician...
It isn't about hurty words. It is about a man with a massive amount of power, who no one voted for, trying to decide who our government is.
Ed davey anything to say on the post masters who committed suicide????
Whataboutery 🙄
If there's nothing to hide have a proper investigation.
