I absolutely hate it when my teacher says that the reason why we’re doing bad is because we’re not doing our homework. I’m not doing good because I don’t understand what’s happening and when I do we move on to the next subject so we can copy more stuff that I won’t find interesting enough to remember, it doesn’t help that it’s algebra either. I actually cared about math, plus my math teacher didn’t make me write crap down that I would forget later and also she was supposed to give us online homework but never did, which thank god because I absolutely hate online work and I always felt as though I had a fair amount of homework. I did so good in her class that I got a 100 in one of the marking periods, so why can’t you do the same? Why is that determined by homework?

Im still confused about schools not allowing hoodies. I wear hoodies everyday, and after 20-21 school year, we can wear hats and hoods up in class.
It's because of the increasing amount of school shootings. You can hide a gun under a bulky hoodie and conceal your identity with the hood. It's a lot easier to do the last one now because of Covid and wearing masks. I know the school I work in allows hoodies, but you can't put your hood up. We are located in a hot spot (right off of a highway, and right outside of a MAJOR city) and have already had shootings at neighboring schools.
It definitely varies from school to school though.
