This thing is a fun little project I just finished mine it's the same one I just painted it put all new tires and new 212cc predetor engine from harbor frieght runs about 27mph but if I want to go fast simply adjusting the throttle screw it gets about 38mph
I found if you change that spring at the bottom of the motor the throttle linkage that connects then goes to the carburetor if you change that spring out for a solid metal piece mine came with it i had to bend it just a tad but it makes the go kart way more responsive and able to get way more out of the power

Can you please show a video on the throttle linkage setup? I have the same engine for my brothers go kart I’m rebuilding. Cant figure out how to get the carb linkage to move with throttle linkage on the throttle cable for gas pedal. Please make a video
@@linksgarage1985 just installed mine yesterday. Seems to be working great. Guy I got it from threaded a standard bolt where the clutch goes. It’s actually a 24 thread fine bolt. Once I get the right one should be good to go
Is their anyway I could contact you about this go kart? I have this exact kart but having starting issues and was hoping to see if you had any shots of the throttle cable set up from the side of the engine? Or just some shots of your engine? Kinda at a loss of what to do…
hey there bud, I appreciate you doing this video for us @ 9:50 that vent tube connects from the ohv to the carb? the tube on my engine is weather rotted and broke in half basically so one half is hanging off the carb and one off the ohv. It still runs but has some problems staying running so maybe thats the problem. Anyway, I will replace. Thanks brother and let me know if I am wrong on any of that.
What model number is this red Murray go kart? I have the same on with a predator 212 and I’m looking for a few different parts for the frame and cannot find them anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@@SharperWolf919I’m pretty sure it’s called the Murray outrage. I have a friend who has one and it’s like 1 of 900 that were built. Hundreds of them were recalled from the store since they had faulty seatbelts, so there are many less than 900 left today. They were made in the early 2000s.
Ordered this carb after the other 2 i ordered just bogged on idle, this one i just got today and it pours fuel out of the hole for the primer bulb, any suggestions?
I’m working on my now. Same engine except it’s a 6.5 hp. Does the throttle hook up to the carb at all? I start mine up but doesn’t move when press the gas pedal. Any suggestions? Thanks

I got that same fuel shut off and it gets stuck,,, dont use it.. i opted not to use the carb cuz the bore is smaller..
