Yea he did lie about sleeping on the floor. But honestly for everyone holding Peyton more accountable than Lucas.. Why is Lucas reminding Brooke that her best friend needs her? Its not okay how Brooke continously neglects Peyton as a friend, yet expects Peyton to shove all of her feelings in a box. I'm not even talking about Lucas. It's everything.
So Lucas did not sleep on the floor he actually slept in the same bed as Peyton and mentioned how she threw up 6 different times so he clearly helped her and made the conscious decision to go back to bed with her. He is probably the most deluded character on the show other than Brooke. Even Peyton knows Lucas stays crossing the line between lover/friend.
I don’t think Lucas was on that with Peyton here and whatever you are saying is headcanon … no one knows if he slept on the floor or not since it was off screen. In s3 he was all about being with Brooke and didn’t show any signs of secretly pining for Peyton … there was nothing delusional about his feelings and Brooke wasn’t delusional either she had the courage to leave his ass. Peyton stayed like the fool she is after he fully proposed to another woman and was going to marry her.
