Few people realize the theraputic value of banging your head against the wall. These uncertain times seem to justify it.
LOL
Weird game.
Wolf, who was certainly a worthy GM, but only a winning percentage at about 50, completely crushes Reti, a SGM with a winning percentage over 60!
But that's not all! In doing so, he makes Reti appear clumsy and insecure, with himself sharp as a canine toot.
Even more surprising, it appears Wolf might have been Reti's special nemesis:
Heinrich Wolf beat Richard Reti 4 to 1, with 1 draw...
Höher wertiger You clearly don't know the first thing about chess. Please stop embarrassing yourself.
Taking the passive rook on a8 with the knight seemed really odd for me, while there was an attack going on the King side
one of my openings. I have to study this game :)
Hi Mato, have you ever seen the game:
Milan Vidmar-Max Euwe, Karlsbad 1929.
Amazing killer move, maybe good for a lecture
I third that. ☝️ ✌🏻
This was a different sort of game. Reti was outplayed
Nomen est omen!
An awful game by Reti...
I have had probably more success with the black pieces vs good players than the white pieces. I always enjoy seeing the black pieces win. Thanks for the vid.
PLAYED WITH THE MARAUDING SAVAGERY AND ADEPT CUNNING OF "THE WOLF"!!! V.W.
at 5:27/752 the white knight can then take the black Queen and the game would be equal.
Never knew of Wolf...in any event, he dismantled white in this game.
This wasn't the Richard Reti that I know.
Beautiful creative ,attacking game. Nice selection Mato.
It appears that Reti underestimated his opponent and played adventurous moves. Else Reti games are generally clockwork precision.
TQ
First?
Great game, Mato!
Shit still happens. Blinking twice and everything is hanging and lost
Richard Reti lost the game. Surprise....
Absolutely amazing. You are right..!
Nice en effet !
I was expecting Reti’s knight.
My best player ❤️ Reti ❤️
Fantastic!
FIRST
Good boy ! Now go fetch the ball !
