    It's pretty easy programming-wise to allow raycasts to 'tunnel' through solid objects. the difficulty in implementing it would be going through every transparent material in the game and tagging it to say "this is transparent, allow 'enemy spotted' world ping ray checks to tunnel through".

    Suggestion: basically just add a random from favorites option to your profile customizations, like you can have multiple player icons, multiple name cards and multiple titles equipped so a random set of them are shown whenever you log in

    suggestion: i think it would be more funny to see in game rather than a good change, but most if not all deployables should be displaceable the way bob is. hooking a lamp away from the enemy team would be so funny to see

      I can imagine in open queue you immortality field an enemy Dva bomb then the enemy Roadhog just yanks the lamp away

      This would genuinely be a very good balancing change for lamp. Like it’s very situational, but it takes away the “100% guaranteed get out of jail free” nature of the ability

    Suggestion: Allow us to have access to old iterations of characters in the workshop. We know they still have the old kits and abilities stored somewhere since we got scatter arrow back for the valentines event. I feel it would be fun to play stuff like DPS doom (I miss dps doom so much ): ) or immobile turret form bastion with his tank ultimate. It would be a kinda niche addition but could be nice for new workshop gamemodes and to compare the current kits to the previous ones.

    KarQ you flipped your stream and I think that's what causes people dizziness, but what I imagine when I hear about flipping maps is like flipping the payload. So on circuit royal, defenders come from the other spawn so the payloads starts from the other side of the map.

      The maps are designed for the defenders to have positions at each point to defend. Flipping the maps might upset this, depending on the maps, though I definitely agreed it'd still be a fun and refreshing way to double the number of maps with little work by the devs. I'd be okay with it in quick play but not comp

      Just realized this means a flipped hybrid map would mean attackers start with payload, then end with capturing an objective point, creating a whole new game mode! Spawn distances would have to be adjusted, but that'd be so cool!

    Suggestion: Death reports. Sometimes you die to things and have no idea what actually happened. You watch the replay and you still really don't know, or worse is when you're misled.
    The death report could just show the damage your took, the amounts, and from what sources that led to your death. It could even show healing received.

      I don't think I've ever wondered what i died to after watching the death replay. But I still really like your idea and would love to see it implemented.

    Suggestion: At the start of the map let the tanks ban 2 tank options for the other tank and vice versa. This would allow tanks from counterswapping all the time. Maybe test this feature in arcade and then into competitive. As a rein main I'd ban mauga and orisa.

      Decent suggestion. But it has a few issues it doesn't address:
      - As a Rein main how are you going to feel when it's finally a Rein meta and he gets banned almost every single game?
      - As a ball main, I'm still going to get Sombra/Cass/Brig+Ana countered as soon as we win one fight.
      Idk... maybe it's worth it, to never have to play another boring Mauga game ever again. Just some thoughts.

    Letting us use the npcs from PVE actually sounds so cool. If they’re not gonna make or release any PVE content they might as well give it to us the community to make cool workshop modes. They need to put more resources into the workshop community

    this is long but i really think im cooking here. you tell me tho Gordon. (and im talking Downie, not Ramsey)
    tank swapping mechanic idea to help mitigate counterwatch and aid in the prevention of playing against broken heroes or unfun-to-play-against tanks (mauga, hog, etc)
    or TSMTHMCAAITPOPABHOUTPAT(MHE) for short
    step 1A) beginning of each game you choose your tank pool.
    choose which three heroes you want to play. can discuss w your team during this time if you want.
    step 1B) also select a 4th backup character that may be selected, but may not be.
    because
    step 2A) hard-vetoing one of the enemy tank options from the game
    caveat 2B) you can’t veto someone in your own pool.
    caveat 2C) the enemy’s 1st Choice tank cannot be vetoed - so one tricks can lock in safely.
    caveat 2D) you pick two vetoes in case the first one is stunlocked by otps.
    example) say i choose Ball, Sigma, JQ, with Doom as a backup; and i can veto Orisa or Winston.
    the enemy might pick Winston, Orisa, Zarya, with Rein as a backup; they pick Ball or Sigma as veto.
    my veto for Orisa would go through because their first pick is Winston; so Orisa would be vetoed and Rein would be added to their pool.
    because their first veto pick for Ball was my 1st choice, it “doesn’t count” and the game instead vetoes Sigma, and i get Doom
    added to my pool.
    i hope this makes sense. it’s kind of complicated, but i think it could be a really, really interesting way to play the game. especially w/ streamer mode & private accounts concealing identities.

    Suggestion: I think the DPS passive should add up to 20% based on the damage you're dealing to a target, that would make focusing fire more rewarded both when both DPS focus on a target and when they are in 1v1, while not punishing someone for getting hit by a random Tracer pellet from across the map.

    Suggestion: Revert the Zen Discord orb Changes from Season 7. Firstly i thought it was a decent change but after playing for 6+ months i think it should get reverted because now he feels very clunky and unfluid to play. I know Discord orb on the solo Tank in 5v5 is too strong but you could easily fix that by reducing the amp on tanks from 25% to 15% OR the 7 sec cooldown should only apply to the tank (like they did with Ana sleep dart). Dueling a Squishy as Zen in his current state after the Season 9 health pool buffs feels terrible because you cannot 2 tab anymore

      My thoughts exactly. The devs have already shown that tank tenacity is a needed mechanic (another example is boops), so why not use it for discord?

    Suggestion: they should increase the speed of the push bot when not pushing the barricade, it would stop the snowball effect cause it would go back faster, but wouldnt make it a faster snowball when winning cause that speed wouldnt increase

    Suggestion: The Season 9 changes felt fresh but didn't solve the main problems of healing AND damage creep, my suggestion for the next big yearly change Overwatch has is to revert the dps passive, along with most of the buffs heroes got in season 9/10 AND change the health pools back to their original values, nerf literally every dps heroes damage and every support heroes healing (excluding lucio, zen) and see where we go from there. I feel like the game is digging itself a deeper hole by avoiding the actual solution and although this might make people mad because their favorite character is getting nerfed, it will make the game a lot more fun to play without feeling like you either explode or cant cut through any healing. (tank nerfs and changes will have to be made too especially to Roadhog, Mauga and Orisa).

    Suggestion: Make torb support! have him be able to repair all turrets (including bob) and be able to heal omnics with his hammer! Make his ult "upgrade" anything he has repaired ( increased fire rate or whatever is appropriate)

    suggestion: zenyata discord orb should be replaced with an orb that when placed on an ally, that ally receives a small amount of healing relative to any damage they do. Alternatively this could be placed on an enemy and if your team deal damage to that enemy then they receive an amount of healing relative to the damage they do

    I want to plus one the suggestion about pve assets into the workshop. Not saying Overwatch shouuld hard lean into moba sruff, but a moba style mode with npc bots going along the objective paths could be interesting.

    Editor suggestion: utilize more of the space. The background animation is neat, but the text is a bit small to read. It seems like this has been done to make it easier to extract parts for shorts/tiktok.

    Easy suggestion - buff the base damage of Soldier and Sombra slightly because it feels like targets are escaping at 1hp and those 2 feel very weak. Reduce the DPS of Sojourn PLEASE. I just got 1-shot by a Mercy Boosted Rail headshot??? I might've been 240hp (so literally 1 tiny Soj pellet body shot + rail headshot for a full kill?????)
    Please tell me why would anyone play Soldier (or OTP him like me) if Soj has a similar role but providing easier value

    Sugguestion - I think they should add small hero icons near(not on) the health bar to show what heroes are debuffing or buffing you

      I would love to have a healing indication. The amount of people who still don't know Brig is AOE healing and not just health packs is insane.

    Suggestion: Blizzard needs to have a mode where the scoreboard isn't shown until the end of the game. It would be a fun weekend event. I understand people use it to "ult track" but low elo isn't really using it for that. I feel like games would be more fun if the scoreboard was gone.

    suggestion: allow regular skins to use mythic effects, kinda like how if you equip a weapon skin on a mythic (like mercy) it would keep the staff and the effects. the toggle would keep the mythic effects with the legendary skin and staff design.

    9:51 Discord is not currently at 15%. It's currently 25%.
    Tbh most discord change suggestions just overcomplicate an already convoluted ability. Discord is too strong against tanks but has to be able to protect against squishy flankers. The simplest solution is just to lower the effectiveness against tanks exclusively. They already did this for sleep dart and boop, just carry it over to zen. He doesn't need to lose fluidity and viability in squishy duels.

    Cancelling PvE is one thing but they should really build the universe through animated shorts and cartoon series like the one with the history of the creation of omnics. It could give the game back its soul. And use some retcon to explain kiriko's and shimadas' age difference...

    Suggestion: allow us to trade in old overwatch currency for the new overwatch coins. Even if its something like 1000 to 1. I dont have anything left i can use the old currency on.

    Mirroring an image for a stream is not the same as making a map mirrored in game. The flipped image also flips abilities and HUD elements, which absolutely is what contributed to the sickness. I mean, mirrored racing maps don't tend to make players sick, and they would definitely be worse than OW.

    screw dps passive i want genji bleed back somehow it can do poo dmg its just a cool mechanic and could synergize with queen, like take 20 dmg off genjis dash, but add his dash bleed back for 35 dmg so its a slight buff but also nerf and indirect junker buff

    Suggestion: the stun after hog hook should be decreased. If I cannot buffer a block or movement ability while being hooked then it makes the character so much harder to play around as a dive character

    Suggestion: Normalize the health pools! There are too many different health totals across all of the non-Tank heroes. It's messy, it makes breakpoints hard to balance, and it must be a nightmare for new players. Aside from Tracer and Bastion as specific exceptions, all non-Tank heroes should have either 200 or 250 HP, based on their playstyles. Even within the Tank role you can have 500 HP for the small-bodied Tanks, 600 HP for the average ones, and 700 HP for the big bois. It's a lot cleaner, easier to balance around, and honestly it just makes sense.
    And another one if it's okay to double dip
    Suggestion: a Mauga rework! For this idea, Mauga would have two health bars (300-350 each, probably). The first bar gives Mauga damage resistance, but once it's depleted it has to passively recharge before it can apply again. Then his second bar is just normal HP. Additionally, using both guns simultaneously would be locked to Cardiac Overdrive, which would use his first health bar as a resource instead of having a regular cooldown. This makes it less of an "I can't die" button, and more of a "You need to die NOW" button. The whole idea is a lot more nuanced than this, and would naturally come with adjustments to the rest of his kit, but I wanted to keep the comment concise.

    They should separate balance into two categories: a High-Tier and Low Tier. Having two different kinds of balance would solve the problem of a hero being impossible to balance due to the player's skill level.

      I can't even imagine how something like that could be implemented.
      Say you're climbing with your favorite hero and you make it to the threshold where this transition happens from 'baby mode' to 'real man mode', where suddenly your hero is gutted because he sucks in low elo and is thus giga buffed down there... So you get immediately booped back down into baby mode again where you remain stuck until you can overcome your character's nerfs... but you can't even play with the nerfed version to get used to the nerfs because you can't stay in the elo where he's nerfed long enough to get used to them!
      Or let's say your favorite winston main streamer is really doing work, showing off all kinds of cool tech and just being a general menace, so you hop on to play some winston yourself, try the stuff out and emulate your favorite streamer. Oops, Winston is actually giga-nerfed in baby mode because he's hard to play around for new players, so none of the stuff works.
      Not to mention the fact that now the balance team has to balance *two different games*. You trade off a little balance work of taking some skill level out of the balance equation only to double the work the devs have to do to keep both different versions of the game balanced.
      Or the people who would be encouraged to intentionally throw games to drop down into the ELO where their character isn't turbo-nerfed and they actually get to have the fun version of their character.
      You can't just have two different versions of the game divided by ELO, it creates too many issues and disparities that can't be addressed.

    Suggestion Make mercy damage boost apply to all allies in aoe like in Valkyrie,because zen has discord and all targets "25%dmg boost" it could be cool to see it for mercy despite both of them as a single target healers

      Mercy can fly and has more healing than zen. Zen is completly grounded with no mobility, so his discord is much stronger.

    Suggestion: Add a death recap similar to MOBAs where after death you can hit a button to view a log of the last instances of damage/healing you received before dying (could also show how it was calculated eg. (base)x(mercy beam)=(damage you took)). Either this or have a similar viewable log in the replays, would just be nice to see a breakdown of what all added up to your death.

    Suggestion: Tanks should be the role with heavy utility, not support. All this time tanks created space by threating kills/mitgation and from OW1 to 2 they just increased their killing potential and reduced the mit. But maybe the right aproach is to focus on the enabling part of a tank, not the damage one.
    What makes the tank experience so sh*t is having to create space by threatning kills in a meta with suzu, tp, lantern, grip, boop etc.
    Focusing the tank design on utility/mitigation, instead of dmg/ mitigation would make the role easier to balance, resolve the tank experience problem (since you will feel impactful with powerful cds) and reward coordinated plays above "hook and shoot" ones.

      I've been thinking about this since OW2 released. Tanks shouldn't be a glorified DPS. Can you imagine a tank that is able to drop a field that grants 25 armour for allies in-range? Similar to Orisa's old bongo but instead of increasing damage, it's protection. The only issue I see with going this way for tank is that I think the main reason they want tank to do massive damage is to make them fun and more appealing to play. It's the same thing they're doing with supports - more flex supports make support fun but I think the devs are a little out of touch with what players enjoy from each role. Mercy is a good example of what a lot of support players enjoy. It isn't about getting kills, it's about enabling and helping the team

    Sugestion: Add a callout for "on your mark" as an option like "i'm ready" or "I'm with you", many times I have my ult as an Ana or Kiri and my Genji or Soldier are waiting on me to ult while I wait for them to ult. It'll help people that don't want to use VC.
    2nd suggestion: The push Robot should slowly return to the starting position if no one is in it like how the paylod slowly goes back on escort maps, that way teams that push to an enemy spawn have to choose to leave 1 person behind on point or return to neutral, that might help with snowballed games.

      There's also a "I'm with you."
      It can be contextually triggered by looking at a teammate and using the Group Up call.

    Suggestion:
    Keep Hanzo's damage the same so no one one-shot capabilites. Increase Hanzo's firerate so he can shoot more consistently. Replace Storm Arrow w/ a explosive arrow. Hanzo will change his arrow similar to how sonic functions, but instead its an explosive one. Either it explodes on impact or have a delayed explosion. The explosion will be a burst splash damage ability w/ knockback, you could even use it for mobility. I feel like this could be an interesting new look for hanzo that dosent stray too far away from his identity.
    As a minor second idea, you could replace storm arrow w/ a dragon enhanced arrow. What i mean by that is it has a dragon flying around the arrow. This arrow would be stronger and have capabilites of one shoting certain heros. So Hanzo could still technically keep his one shot capabilites, but it will be limited to a cooldown that you still have to land.

      The first idea actually is pretty good as he still would have great range like Widowmaker but way better fire rate so that definitely would make it where he’s better close up then she is, plus giving him versatility makes it where he’s overall better but she’s a good glass Cannon so they have different areas they’re good in. Also I don’t know if this is really a good idea but I like the idea of the enhanced dragon arrow but what if instead of doing more damage, it will hit a second target near the first one you hate but do less damage. I feel like that would be a cool way to have it where he does something no other character does well also making sense because magical dragon stuff plus it seems cool because of a Animated fight for him versus his brother, the part where his brother sins back the dragons was so cool, so I kind of got that idea from that.

    Suggestion: Add a spray animation. I feel like sprays have been part of the game so many times that it would be nice seeing heroes actually spray the inage with a short animation rather than a spray just popping out of nowhere.

    Suggestion: When you Cancel Sombra's hack, it should go oon a much higher cooldown than normal. Right now if I cancel her hack, it goes on like 3 seconds cooldown, which is lower than usual. Right now its much a better strategy to let her hack you and then engage which takes out the skill expresion out of the matchup

    Suggestion/Hot take: moiras healing and damage interaction should flip. Instead of needing to deal damage in order to have enough resources to heal, i think she should need to heal to charge/buff her damage. DPS moiras are common in lower rank, so giving them a very strong incentive to actually protect the team and not just flank the whole game would be great. I am fine with moira being easy and fun to damage with, but i think all supports should be incentivised to heal as much as possible, not damage as much as possible (there is a paladins character, a healer angel with a swordgun, who has a fire rate buff that increases the more healing she does. She was easily my favourite character when i played that game and having a similar system in overwatch would be great)

    Suggestion: Add a heal/support of the game play. I havent seen any support potg recently and in OW1 if youre gealing was on point as mercy or ana you'd get a potg consistently. Nowadays I don't even know what I have to do as a mercy to get potg except maybe battlemercy 3 enemies.

    I actually think the Zenyatta idea was really good for harmony orb and discord orb as long as you directly half the effect, then discord or technically would increase damage by like 7.5% or if you rounded 7% or 8% but you can double stack it on one target take send it back to 15% like before. It’s a cool idea because then you can increase the damage people do to two people but not by a crazy amount. While also being able to heal people but not by a crazy amount, it definitely adds a lot more options.

    Suggestion: You shouldn’t be able to hear outside the spawn room on Attack or Defense on hybrid and escort maps. It results in immediate counter swapping AND it puts you at a disadvantage if you are joking around using emotes and voice lines before the game starts.

      Bad suggestion imo. Baby sitting the bot can lead to easy kills for enemy team especially for squishy heroes.
      It caters to a specific play style where tanks must contest the bot at all times

    Suggestion: Make alternate voicelines toggleable if i've selected a specific voice line for that keypress. For example, my #6 is "Group up" but half the time it plays "I'm with you", which is NOT what I want. It seems to happen randomly, regardless of length between me and the other players or if someone is in my LOS and it's super frustrating.

    Suggestion: make it so you can select multiple game modes to play. For example, you can select either open que or mystery heros and it will put you in the lobby that is the closest to being full. This also might be a good way to bring back assault maps to quick play and if there is a game mode you don’t like(push) you don’t have to play it in quick play.

    suggestion: each push mode should have 2 robots, one for each team. might have to make this a Bo3 game mode bc it might be a faster game, but i think the idea would be really cool to have to divert resources to offense and defense being across the map from each other

    Whenever I play Sym, I do ping my teleporter and she DOES have a voiceline for it. But 90% of the time, no one takes it anyway.

    Suggestion: Let players use a souvenir/spray on the victory pose screen. Let the POTG use a voice line during their highlight intro. Then while the clip is playing, the lobby could use sprays that flash on screen like little emotes. Give us different little outro songs to replace the overwatch theme playing over every POTG. I feel like a little effort on things like this could go a long way. Im sure there are more creative ideas people could run with, but this could add some flair to the post-game. And who knows, maybe Blizzard could see a boost in sales in these smaller items.

    We really need a clan system, with a ranked game mode dedicated to it, independent from the current ranked mode. Wide group queue has been an absolute failure, it should be scrapped all together and replaced by something like this :
    A clan could have up to ten players in them allowing to play with a full team even if not everybody is there. Every player could be part of up to three different clans. Joining a clan would prevent you from leaving it for like two month, and leaving a clan prevents you from joining an other one with the same "clan slot" for like two weeks. This would prevent high skill players being temporarly "recruited" to boost the clan at least a little bit.
    "Playing as a clan" means you play a ranked game mode with a full 5 players team from the clan. You would only be matched against other five players teams using the same system. This new ranked mode would only make the clan's rank go up or down. Individual players's ranks would not be a factor, it would not share the same ranking system with the current ranked mode. This independant rank players are working for might be what they need to actually invest themselves into the game mode. IMO, the current ranked mode and the one I'm proposing could totaly coexist.

    suggestion: We could bring back 6v6, solve queue times and avoid the 6 dps comps as follows :
    We remove separate role skill ratings to go back to the pre role Q system. When someone want's to queue rank, they select a "prefered role". The matchmaker will then make a 6v6 with lobby with a 1-1-1-3 team comp. 1 player of each role (support, tank and dps) is stuck on their prefered role for the game, and the 3 other players get the "flex" role having access to the entire cast.
    Role Q has really killed some of the flexbility the game offered, I used to be a DPS player who could flex to Zarya, Ana, Dva and Zen but I simply never queue on those roles because I don't want to be stuck on the role for an entire match (if I get counterswapped and can't be flexible enough for example). Having this system I would definitely play more off tank if I got the flex role from time to time

    Suggestion:
    Cassidy rework:
    Cassidy is a fundamentally bad ass character and I think his identity as a cool, smooth talkin, gunslinging, sharphootin’, western man has been lost in his current design.
    1. His health should be reduced to the default 250 or maybe even lower. I’m going for a glass cannon type of DPS
    2.Grenade: When first thrown out the grenade will function as a classic halo style frag Grenade that’s high damaging. It will begin to explode when it hits the ground. Pressing the ability button again will change the grenade mid-air into the homing hinder grenade we know now. Swapping to the hinder will also extend the cool down by 3 seconds or so. This will give much needed nuance to the ability, and will force you to choose which grenade would be best for the situation.
    Gun: Hitting 2 headshots in a row will make the third consecutive headshot do bonus damage. This just adds more skill expression and leans into the cowboy aspect.
    Roll: It will go extra distance to compensate for his lower health.
    High Noon: If you don’t get any kills. The first shot after the ultimate will be a headshot no matter what.

    Suggestions:
    User interface: why cant we have customizable ui. I would love to move the hp bar to that spot between the crossairs and the ult charge meter. Having to glance to the corners for vital information mid fight is unpleasant.
    Kiriko: why not give her kunai some damage fall off. This would be something to adjust her overall power without having to sacrifice how well her kit works.
    Reaper: how about firing a slug for his secondary fire. It could do 70-85% as much as a full spread of his normal shot, but with a single accurate projectile. This would positively reward good aim via the headshots and give him a tool to deal with things that are outside of his normal attack range.
    Mercy: is there any way we can have the self heal when healing allies with her cadeus staff fixed. Her movement is ok, it's her self sustain that needs work.
    Soldier 76: why can't we have the fire & reload while running. I know it was just an April fools thing, but it was the smoothest he has played, ever.
    Pharah: will you please give us the jet dive back. In tandem with the recent movement rework she received that ability made her so much more fun to play.
    Reinhardt: can we please get the speed boost on sheild shatter. The counterwatch (I think) version of Reinhardt sheild break is fantastic.

    Suggestion: The DPS Passive should only apply in each characters primary damage range (The range before falloff begins)
    This aims to curb the immediate advantage hitscan heroes possess over projectile heroes when applying the passive without actually modifying any numbers around the passive.
    eg, Tracer & Cassidy can no longer apply it across the map with a quick spray/shot and must be within their ideal engagement range to utilise it while heroes like Symm & Genji can apply it from any range so long as their projectiles hit due them having no falloff ranges.

    Suggestion: Instead of debating whether 5v5 or 6v6 is better, why not just make a separate matchmaking for 5v5 and 6v6
    No need to tweak balance first, just look at the statistics later whether more people queue for 5v5 or 6v6 mode

    suggestion: lower tanks HP but add a passive that reduces damage taken depending on how many enemies are around (dunno, 0% if 0 or 1 enemy is nearby, 15% if 2 enemies are nearby and 30% if 3 or more enemies are around) so they are still as durable as they are now against a full team but aren't unkillable when going against a single enemy. right now, if you find yourself solo with a tank you have no way to win (unless you are bastion) and it feels very oppressive. but with this change tanks should be easier to balance because are not going to be naturally unkillable.

    Suggestion: Flashpoint needs to make it more clear where each spawn is in relation to where you are.
    maybe it’s just a skill issue, but i would love some sort of (very translucent, not intrusive) marker that pops up whenever i look in the direction of my spawn or their spawn.
    idk. i get turned around sometimes.
    maybe code it to show up only if you’ve taken no damage for 5 seconds so it doesn’t get in the way of a fight.

    I want to point out. I am an individual that gets disoriented by lights. Bright contrasting lights blind me AND deafen me. If I'm playing with my friends with a zarya at max beam strength in my face while a Illari beam heals or literally any form of bright lights gets on my screen at the same time... it deafens me. I cannot hear, barely see, and definitely not think.
    Night time maps are a nightmare for me. I become deaf from the shining lights and it's very disorienting.
    I am not one to complain, I understand why its there and I am never going to tell others how to make games. I simply accept my fate and push through.
    I am concerned about having different day cycle maps in the same rotation because I will struggle with the many night maps I could play in one session, forcing me to play less if I start to feel ill.

    your explanation of raycast us correct, but different geometry can have "tags" that each raycast can check differently. the ping raycast can ignore geometry that have a "transparent" tag

Now someone wants to compensate the extremely tiny drawback of her not being visible to her own teammates for the 0.4 seconds while she's fading?     suggestion: widow should have a DoT (damage over time) on headshot instead of instant, with the DoT as fast as Ana’s. it’s 2.5x multiplier right now, but make it 1.5x (or maybe 2x) instantly applied then DoT the rest of the multiplier. i.e. for a fully charged shot, 120 x 1.5 is 180 instant damage then DoT the remaining 120 to deal the full 300. that way, counter play on the remaining one shot in this game can still be done if the players are quick enough to react. poison is already in-lore so this change wouldn’t be weird. with the loss of instant one shot she can be buffed back to other aspects of her kit like scoped strafe speed, scoped charge time, total hp, smg primary, grapple cd, venom mine or ult. body shots function the same and is unchanged.

    Suggestion: Give all tanks a stance switching ability like Wreckingball and Ramatra to absorb absurd amounts of pressure in their own way. With an "Offensive" and "Defensive" form, you can balance survivability and offensive capabilities on a separate level. You can tie things like CC reduction, status reduction, etc to a defensive form, but shed that during their normal form to be punished on aggressive pushes.

    Suggestion: Tanks should be nerfed to make tanking feel better.
    I know this sounds a little bit of a weird way to achieve making tanking feel good, how could nerfing tanks possibly achieve this?
    Counterpicking tanks is only effective because how much impact tanks have on the game. Counterpicking tanks was not effective in overwatch 1 due to the fact that tanks weren't the most powerful or impactful role on the battlefield. If tank healthpools were lowered back to be closer to their overwatch 1 health pools in exchange for some QOL improvements/slight buffs to other aspects of their kit to make them a little more threatening offensively and making tankbusters (Bastion, reaper, hanzo mainly) less effective at tankbusting and more effective in other ways tanking would feel significantly better.

    Suggestion: bring back end of season rewards. Personally, I really miss end of season rewards. I know they increased the number of competitive points given by games, but it would be nice to get rewards again, based on how we were ranked (besides the title). It doesn’t even have to be competitive points, could even be mythic prisms, (5 for bronze, 10 for silver, etc). Or even a skin if you reach at least plat, highlight into for at least gold, etc. Most other games give some sort of cosmetic at the end of the season. It would definitely make the grind to get ranked higher more appealing

    10:53 that's basically right, but that wouldn't necessarily make pinging-through-glass impossible. I don't know the features of Overwatch's engine, but it is typical to be able to choose the "layer" or "kind of thing" that a raycast is sensitive to. Pinging-through-windows could be achieved if it is possible to place windows on a layer that has level level-geometry-like collision but not ping collision.

    Suggestion: They should allow crossplay in ranked until Diamond or Master, and just have a specifically mixed pool. It’s not that serious and asking PC players to drop $500 dollars to play ranked with their console friends is awful.

    Suggestion: Instead of having daytime and nighttime maps they should program light cycles into the game. So every game is just a little bit different, even the sun's position in the sky. Just like how your games are generated, it could generate the map and it's light cycle (or at least where in the sky would the sun would be). It could add to the immersion of the game, making people less likely to get consumed in the monotony of every game.
    Mini Suggestion: some walls in the game have windows, but if you were to go on the other side of the wall there would be no window. I was devastated when I noticed it and my immersion was broken forever

    Suggestions: make push have 1 robot per team and can only push a barricade 1 direction, you can still interact with enemy teams robot by pushing it back the the middle of the map if you want to delay, this adds some strategy in who and when people will be pushing which robot, additionally if you unlock forward spawn point, the robot can not be pushed back behind forward spawn checkpoint, but still deactivates forward spawn when pushed to that point.

    New weapon skins should be able to be earned through all gametypes. Sapphire skins for quickplay, ruby for competetive, move jade to arcade also adds incentive to play all modes

    The mirror map making people "dizzy" is because it is a fliped image...any photo edited to be mirrored always looks off...but if you actually reverse what is being photographed it looks natural ... take a photo of a pizza then mirror it and it will look off but if you mirror it befor taking the picture itll look like a normal pizza... its a wierd thing that if a person gets dizzy its not because they lose familiarity its because it literally doesnt look correct

    Suggestion: This is kind of a half cooked idea but it would be cool to put more power into Symmetra TP. Like making it last way less time but putting it on a much lower cooldown so she can TP in and do some damage and as long as she survives the cooldown of the TP she can get out. The problem is I wouldn't want to take away the teamplay aspect of the teleporter hence the half cooked part.

    Suggestion: make streamer mode only available to people who are currently online streaming on a platform, we already have to link our accounts for twitch drops anyway. It is being abused far too often to add an extra bit of protection for people smurfing/cheating.

    Suggestion: right now Lifeweaver's healing blossom that has no target to lock on just poofs out of existence consuming ammo and doing nothing, i think it would be better if it would shoot out and fly in a straight line (as a regular projectile with no lock on). This way you can heal people out of your reach with a well aimed blossom or shoot it out as a teammate needing healing is about to walk in your line of sight

    suggestion: the dps passive should not apply past the characters maximum effective range. This would ease the pressure taken from tracer and sojourn being able to apply it so easily over long ranges with little to nothing you can do about it whilst still keeping it fair for someone like widow because she only needs 1 or 2 shots to kill someone anyways.

    Flipped maps but instead of visually flipping them I mean you attack kings row starting at 3rd point and have to cap it at 1st to win. payload/hybrid maps reversed
