      The video was on in the background while I worked. While you were talking about the slot dog, I was hearing "slaw dog". I had to stop and rewind to see what you were talking about. I was confused why you would be talking about a recipe on a gadget video.
      P.S. slaw dogs are a fave summer cookout food. You should try!

    We make a lot of lemonade because we have a huge lemon tree but the juicer we have has a switch on it to determine the amount of pulp. And you hold the lemon down so you control how much of the rind gets juiced. When you push down the juicer turns on. Would highly recommend this! Especially for margaritas where you are trying to juice a ton of limes!!

    I like when the sisters are around it feels like I get to be in the forbidden girl talk instead of being told to go to my room or get that unwelcome look when girls are waiting for you to leave so they can talk unreservedly. even as an adult, it sucks feeling unwanted when fun conversations are happening.

Lo, Bee, and your sister (Lauren I think?) are all honest, fair, sometimes blunt, but Dibs was savage trying to understand why the clear ice was so impressive hahaha. We were really lucky in our neighborhood everyone had kids our kid’s ages and so every night during the summer we would sit out and have a drink with all of our neighbors and the kids would play in our cul-de-sac. It was so unbelievably helpful when they started making the light up shoes, I cannot tell you how easy we could keep track of all the kids in the dark. I highly recommend any child under the age of five needs those.( Or under the age of 35 whatever you like, I’m not judging)

    I believe that clear ice doesn't melt as quickly as "regular" ice, because it has no air bubbles in it. Also since these ice balls are large and have less surface area than several smaller ice cubes, it melts even slower. This would mean that it doesn't water down your drink as quickly as regular ice cubes.

    I think the slot dog didn't work because you cooked it to regular doneness. If you cooked it to like well done levels or slightly toasty you'd get more crisped edges which would make for more smokiness.

  • @alyj6398
    @alyj6398 Рік тому +6

    Isn't Dip N Dots whole shtick the fact that they are frozen at an unusually low temp? It likely wouldn't be replicated in a household freezer. Also, it is supposed to be ice-cream, not popsicle pellets.

    • @mirandacoulter888
      @mirandacoulter888 Рік тому

      Anytime I’ve seen “homemade” Dippin’ Dots, it was ice cream base dropped into liquid nitrogen.
      Edit: according to the Dippin Dots website they flash freeze theirs at -320°F/-195°C and will lose their shape if stored above -40°F/-40°C. So getting ahold of some liquid nitrogen is probably your best bet if you want to make them yourself.

    Rachel, that juicer would he a great option for a person like me with chronic pain, coz the machine holds the half and then squeeze it without the person having to hold it. That I can be behind that. Coz many with arthritis and/or chronic pain in general cant stand and hold the fruit to get it squeezed and I have been sad about that since I love freshly squeezed orange andnof I could do lemon too for health reasons ibstead og buying lemon juice, I most likely would.
    Just have a feeling that its not cheap at all 🙈
    And clear ice doesnt give an aftertaste like the non clear foes, tye white unclear wiææ leace a taste and like chalk resudue in water, so thata why some people wants vlwar ice 😁
    Thx for the review 😁🫂

    I’m curious what would happen if you took ice cream and filled the ‘dippin dots’ trays with that instead, and then re-froze it. I feel like that could work better cause it’s not a liquid when you put it in. It would probably take a bit longer to set up, but I feel like it could work and it would be more like real dippin dots anyways.

    Sometimes UA-camrs will mention the items that they have linked that were the biggest hit with their subscribers (via affiliate links). I find it weirdly interesting when they share that haha. It might be fun sometime if you did an All-Stars-type video that highlighted the best sellers from gadgets or makeup (on your other channel). One of my favorite UA-camrs, Jessica Braun, recently mentioned that there was a pair of leggings that did outstandingly well in terms of her subscribers going ahead and ordering them based on her recommendation. I was one of the ones that bought them and I genuinely love them! I thought it was funny that so many people had done what I did and gone ahead and bought them 😂.
