The members of this Band come from the very famous orchestra of the Queen of Gypsy music Esma Redzepova.
They have given more than 3000 concerts, as members of Esma’s Ensemble Teodosievski, in Europe, Asia, America, Australia, in the biggest concert halls such as Ronacher Theatre, Vienna Opera, etc…
This Band Followed Esma in India when she was promoted in the Queen of Gypsy music. And this is not something new, in fact this is continuing the reach tradition of music school of Esma and Stevo Teodosievski.
As a lead vocal of Esma’s Band Next Generation is Eleonora Mustafovska an only girl adopted by Esma and an only female vocal tught by Esma. She will continue where Esma stopped, trying to give her best to promote Esma’s style and to keep her songs live. After Esma’s death on December 11, 2016, Esma’s Band Next Generation performed at several famous world music festivals, such as Khamoro in Prague, Balkan Trafik in Brussels, Welcome in Tziganie in France and in many other places worldwide. They were warmly welcomed everywhere, had a great reception from the audience and were seen as a continuation of Esma’s musical work. Our mother, the queen of Roma music, has left only one band that will extend the same way to reject all the pieces she has left. We have a great relationship,just like mother and daughter. I understood that is really amazing to have a girl,daughter next to you. Eleonora is part of Esmas Band and together they will continue my work said - Esma.
The group performs pop-music processing of folk Gypsy and Balkan songs and melodies. Filled with the warmth of the sun, the aroma of the sea, they touch to the depths of their souls, they make you start dancing, plunge into the intricacies of rhythms and sounds. Clarinet, accordion, guitar, double bass, trumpet, percussion, - this is an incomplete list of instruments in the arsenal of the group. However, modern trends are not alien to her, so for the selection for Eurovision-2011 musicians of the band recorded the song Gypsy Dance, sustained in the best traditions of pop hits of this TV contest. The band’s musicians say that their goal is to turn their music into a bridge that connects different people, because the gypsies live throughout Europe and feel themselves cosmopolitan.
