Four years ago I looked at the Porsche Macan S. Great drive and sound, but just too small. Looked at the BMW X5 M - again beautiful ride, but BMW service scared me off. The 2017 Lexus RX350 F sport is a nice mix. Beautiful yet cutting edge design, Beautiful sports car interior ( I did cover most of the brushed aluminum with carbon fiber). The RX has some get up and go and handle pretty good for its size. Also love how heavy the doors feel , great fir and finish! And what sold me was of course the Lexus reliability. Great review!
Brock - I’ve now watched several of your videos and really appreciate them. I just bought an L /Certified 2017 RX350 F Sport AWD a week ago and I’m loving it. I had watched a video about the hand over the logo to open rear door. I was asking the sales person about it and he didn’t know it did that. I shared your video with him so he could learn how and impress his co-workers. BTW - got mine in Atomic Silver - I agree it’s the absolute best color, especially with the red!

Great review! Picked one up for my wife a few months ago! Learn something new everyday. Did not know about the handsfree liftgate. The F-sport is one of the few SUV's that is enjoyable to drive. Taut suspension, but not jarring. Doesn't feel like your regular SUV.
I was amazed by it. But it would be. But the thing is...u shouldn't say it to far away from ur car. U'll give crazy people tome to hop up in ur car before u do and kill ya. Or something like that. Maybe a little too fat fetched. But the way people are these days.

It was a little insulting at one of the lexus dealerships cuz I went in there dressed down with a hat on (I happened to be doing some work on the boat that day) and the sales guy didn't even really give me the time of day. Judged me based on what I happened to be wearing that day. He missed out on a sale I guess.

Hey Brock, the cell phone holder in the console works perfectly with your phone...dynamic fit!!! lol Ok, so I just bought the identical 2017 RX350. I had to settle for the series 2 because they had no series 3's left in stock unless I moved to a 2018 and waited 6-8 weeks for it to come in. I wasn't waiting...traded in my 2015 NX for it. I have a front license mount that came with the vehicle in a sealed plastic wrap with no screws. Even if it did, I still don't see how I can put this on. Can you show us how it's done, please?
see the radio controls at 15:20 I have often thought in my 2010 RX350 that they are the "wrong" way as they are across, with me often changing stations accidently, and as the volume is used mostly, they are better on the outside and being top to bottom, up and down makes sense as well as being ergonomic, oh yeah

Great question. There is a considerable difference in the interior feel on the FSport RX350 vs. Luxury package RX. I love certain things about them both - the FSport has a more "edgy" feel with no wood and more supportive seats while the Luxury Package bathes you in wood grain and more open seats. Personally, I prefer the FSport because I just like that look - especially the Red interior. If you are coming from a Highlander Limited then you may appreciate the Luxury Package better than the FSport Package. Please let me know if you have any other questions and I will be happy to help! Well that's easily doable with an app on your smart watch/phone. Only if automobile makers continuous to work with mobile system and give more and more trust. Nobody want to charge their key fob daily, but yes they are fine doing it for their mobile.
+smonkey001 Good points. Lexus does offer a feature called Lexus Enform Remote which allows you to start, lock, unlock and many other things with your cell phone.
+Rex Larios The RX has the same displacement V6 as the Highlander but all other components are proprietary to Lexus. Also, the NX is 90% different than the Rav4. GX shares suspension components but is also about 90% unique as well. This surprises a lot of people but Lexus and Toyota are actually more different than similar. HowToCarGuy my last question is why lexus take away the feature when you unlock the vehicle the windows go down and the sunroof open and when you lock the vehicle the windows close as well as the sunroof?
All that SPORT and with straight dinky pipes that go through a fake exhaust tips molded into the rear bumper. The 1990s style mesh wheels aren't that impressive either.
