Yes, and there is a double meaning in the lyrics that we can't translate in english or idk what else. The Seine (river) and the Scène (stage) sound exactly the same. In french, this song is so much more than a movie's song, it's a real masterpiece (and Vanessa paradis and "M" are among the best french singers). I can only wish you to study the french lyrics !! One of the best animated movies ever. Well, this didn't came too much as a surprise since after all France has a very respectable animation industry! The plot, the atmosphere, the characters, the dialog, the score, the animation, everything is top notch, suave, incredibly funny and witty, so in my humble opinion it deserves a better recognition worldwide.
