Your videos are great, thank you for sharing your journey. I think when we talk about color psychology in painting we really need to look at it from the viewers perspective. The meanings attached to the four colors showcased, do they make us the viewer of these paintings feel calm, serene, etc. Once you start talking about the sitter of the portraits then you are getting into the history of color and what was available at the time. Also, where perhaps the artists mindset was at the time of executing the work. Fascinating subject, one that academics have been discussing for decades. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much! Thank you for writing about what your thoughts are on color psychology! Yes indeed, color psychology goes really deep! There's a lot to learn from what each color has to express and emotions are very much based person to person. So there isn't a "Correct" answer to whether most standard and common meanings used for the following color have an effect. But It does work sometimes and other times not so much.
Looking forward to diving into this subject again in the near future and learning more about it and sharing my thoughts with you! Isn't it an inspiring and fascinating subject!?😍😍🥰🥰

    This is a fun exercise.
I find Blue to be one of my favorite colors since it's "calm". And I'm amazed by the yellow because I'm amazed by Van Gogh; it feels like a hard color to work with.
During the video I had some difficulty with the purple, feelings didn't match, maybe it was a matter of subjectivity of the psychology aspects of the purple, for me, specifically.
    Thanks for the video.

I'm happy you had fun watching this new video!
My favorite is the orange. Since that's my favorite color. But it's amazing how well some colors express the emotion we feel when we look at it!
Yellow can be tricky too! But not as much as the purple though!!
I found purple is the hardest to get right. Haha even for me. It was a little bit tricky to get than one to make sense. I'm still looking for a purple that would have the feelings and emotions you feel of what purple expresses.
I'm happy you learned a few new things from this video! Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts!
