As a lover of the M4, any buffs to it is always welcome, no matter how slight.
For real most iconic gun that we use in military and they just leave it trash always. It should be way better than what it is
The vel 46 is actually insane now if you can land chest and headshots. Really brings back nostalgia running the kar98/mp7 combo again.

They definitely secretly nerfed the damage on The Superi. It doesn't hit the same and the ttk feels like it definitely takes longer for a knock

I was looking at all the stats on the graph and I think I want to test out the Icarus again. Its got a really solid ttk right now due to I assume power creep from it being unchanged while other guns changed around it
I tried it out a few months ago. It’s actually pretty solid.
This was something I'd *Wished* they did for OG Warzone:MW/CW/V/ And even MWII
I can't tell you how disappointing old "balance" changes weren't that at all, sure some weapons were a problem (725 one shot trigger).
But if devs back then took the truly modern approach of "this gun is suited for long range let's just slightly adjust the multiplier values to make the competition and risk more balanced" I'd swear people would have been happier. We could have enjoyed the Grau 5.56 without feeling like it was obsolete.

It was a good step in the right direction anyways... Now we just need some more balancing in the Marksman category. Those and the shotguns are the most neglected by far.

Stg-44 is slapping.. bet it gets nurfed hard soon. First update.. yet the Superi stays insane since it dropped.. i swear as long as it's a smg, they don't care, but if there is a broken rifle or LMG, it seems like they immediately nurf it into the ground.😒
The superi still was never the fastest killing smg but the stg is almost as fast as the fastest killing smg and its an ar
HIGHLY recommend using Zach’s BP50 with the new suppressor Instead of the Zemn. It’s the only fun you need for resurgence.
I think they gave the kar98 a slight stealth nerf to it’s bullet velocity, before season 5 with the best attachments, the kar’s bullet velo was about 940 or so, better than the katt’s with the best attachments, but after s5 it’s about 920

the minibak meta starts now
I'm hoping for the minibak to get more buffs because black ops 6 they will have the bull frog then MW had the Bizon aka minibak

I feel we could also use some more buffs to some of the other bolt action marksman rifles. Kar is good but it's kar or heavy sniper now. I miss the kar vs spr days
The minibak min dmg from 21 to 26? That’s a big jump for a gun that shoots relatively fast

Think with some buffs along the way this has the potencial to be a real good Meta and its the first time i have the feeling they listened to the community at least a little bit. The grain of salt is that i am still waiting for them to talk more about the Match making and how it really works.

The pdsw 528 is one of my favorite guns across all video games. Visually there's something satisfying about it. Glad to see it's not in the dumpster anymore lol!
COR 45 nerf is just as dumb as getting rid of one-shot snipers in WZ2.
I'll say I'm sick of people running it mapped to scroll and spamming at max fire rate, but this is a pretty big nerf. Maybe capping it at half the difference? I mean it looks like they reduced it by like 33%, that's tough, especially when it also seems like they stealth-buffed melee with it. The number of times I landed my shots off rip but lose cuz they punched me twice is crazy.

I’m surprised you don’t wanna point out that they are in the business of selling weapon blueprints, they need new metas to make money, not for the sake of balance. I’m guessing the only reason they are bringing old guns back into the mix now because they want everyone back into the game before the next cod release

This meta update definitely was good that buffed some of the weapons that I wanted to return in the competitive side of the generally pool of top tier weapons that expands it in a good note. I do hope the devs do still continue with it and especially with the black ops 6 weapons in the future.
I would like to use some of the MW22 guns (like the Minibak cause I loved the bizon/bullfrog in WZ1) but they still feel heavy, clunky and bad to use. MW23 feel actually good and fast

I been using minibak the hate it unreal. There was times it was really decent. I hope it gets more love. I miss the PPSH. The new smg kinda reminds me of the OTS-9

this certainly is a good thing, however it's a shame the small nerfs with the holger and superi meant any average buffs didn't bring these guns in line more with those, minus the sva and mtz which were already there
they nerf the movement... and then buffed the stock which makes it the same superi. they did nothing to damage. superi is still king
I believe if it was not for Xedefiant coming out. It would not been this way with the buffs. I believe cod is trying to stay relevant with players who have left and want to gain them back. This is an opinion only.

yeah it's pretty rough for melee users. hell even the damn riot shield makes the character clip through it so you can just shoot through the shield when they're shield bashing

Nothing new at all. The MW2 weapon buffs didn't do much for most of em. The STG makes no sense. 600ms ttk close range on an AR then a drastic drop-off at around 40m. Either it's broken or they screwed the pooch again. New smg feels good but im sticking with the Striker.

First the kar has not been nerfed. Its so much better than any other sniper its beyond me how its not been touched.
Superi nerfs are a joke, and they actually nerfed the horus making the superi absolutely no.1 choice. I still haven't unlock the new smg so can't say about that.
Speaking of Op - quartermaster supresor anyone...
Also, the hit detection is even worse than in season 4. Don't know how they managed that. And the cheater situation is horrendous.
Everything good in this updated is vastly overshadowed by all of the above.
Edit: Just watched TGD video. New smg is even better than superi. Nice weapon balancing.

COR-45 nerf is just the most head scratching ever. Like I get it, it’s to stop cheaters from abusing macro to get the highest fire rate cap(fuck you cheaters), but it also screwed up the gun itself. It kills at 400ms, which is a big fat no for a pistol and 1000ms(that’s full on one second) at longer range(who does that anyway). And to make it more cursed, anyone who uses the slowest trigger is at like 180rpm is “uh oh… that gun sucks now cuz it shoots MTZ Interceptor fire rate”
They need to get console away from PC players, why are us console players dealing with fire rate caps from these MF PC DUDES I'M SO TIRED OF THEM RUINING GOOD THINGS IN COD BECAUSE OF PC CHEATERS.
I'm still pissed about the FAL fire rate nerf on MW2019 all because PC PLAYERS were binding button clicks to the scroll wheel on they mouse to shoot faster.. like tf kinda shit is that man
