The brotherhood among the fire service is what it is all about! When I moved to my present house 29 years ago I just mentioned I was moving....my crew arrived on a saturday morning and had my entire family and household moved in less than 6 hours! Nothing even today like the brotherhood of the the fire service!!!
FDNY firefighters can tell you the same exact story 100 times and each time it gets better and better you will never get bored of it they know how to deliver.

Saw a photo of EZ on instagram the other day and thought the guy looked like a brute of a fireman and the comments spoke very highly of him. Funny I now get to hear him speak...technology is amazing.
It never gets dull. Laughed my ass off .I wonder if I see you guys at the show I'll have to throw some names your way. I'm sure you'll know some of them .
you never know who is watching these pod casts. last night, 10/09/20, i was sitting outside of my favorite pizza place in florida having dinner with friends. the owner was also sitting with us having a little of our red...lol. a car pulls up to pick up an order and the gentleman who got out of the car actually starts heading over towards our table. he says "hey bobby g how are you" I don't know who this is and the people I am with are also trying to figure this out. my wife is saying NOW WHAT. turns out to be a district chief from orlando who happened to see the podcast and heard us talking about this pizza place and he was there to try it and i happened to be sitting there. the brotherhood is everywhere.
That was me Bobby!! It was great meeting you and my son had a ton of questions who you were for the ride home. Orlando Fire would love to invite you over for dinner one night...Dont know if we could beat your favorite Pizza joint, but we will give it a shot. Be safe.

I decided to retire early from the fire service after 21 years (15 years captain) because of where the fire service was going with all the changes regarding sensitivity and promotions being back-doored to get certain genders into command staff roles. Ultimately these people ended creating more havoc and division ever in the fire department.
The fire service has become an absolute disgrace. The politics and also EMS ruined this job. Now everyone stabs one another in the back to get ahead, the days of hanging out on the ramp until 2am shooting the breeze is over. Everyone has there noses stuck in there phones. Comradery is gone!!!!! Plus the entire sensitivity training and now having to step on eggshells around LGBT coworkers plus these self esteem babies that cry when they don’t get their way. I tell everyone today fuck taking the fire exam it’s not worth the bullshit!!!!!

The firehouse I belonged to when we get a prob we test test the water first before we unleash well one time it did not go well few verbals was handed down after a couple of months he felt left out while everyone else was playing hard he said that was the worst feeling like an outcast not being part of play time in the firehouse he learned his lesson he's great guy now and a good firefighter he is actually called energizer firefighter he just doesn't stop till the jobs done.
Eddie had dinner with my wife and I last night . He and I go back to swimming days in College and before . This man is an ANGEL ... God Bless Zman !!!
