I think you seem like a good fun loving dad that teaches your son to have a fun sense of humor! Too many way too serious ppl out there! I also think this looks delicious! I love this idea! Thanks for posting! God bless!
Try making a roux and giving it volume with milk/ cream/your dairy of choice. Most recipes that use condensed cream soups are just stand-ins for a roux anyhow. Hope this helps!
I'm a red sauce kinda guy but, that looks great. The salt in in the water helps it boil faster. The oil in the water does help with the pasta from sticking but, so does stirring regularly. If you use a red sauce, the oil in the water will keep the sauce from sticking to the pasta. Also try rinsing the pasta when you dump it from the pot. It tastes much better. Keep up the great work I love your show.
I made this tonight and my picky 12 yr old daughter had 2 servings so it's definitely a keeper 👍👍. And it definitely was perfect to make during this blizzard we're having today.
heej Jack, just a little tip; i know the oil in the water trick but it is fake. Oil floates on water, when you boil the pasta in the water the oil just floates on top and does nothing to keep it seperated. just so you know. Love your food, keep up the good work !!
no cream of mushroom soup shouldn't be substituted with cream and mushroom (as far as i know). You can find it at your local supermarket in the can/soup aisle. Campbell's is usually the kind we get.
I certainly will show how to make my interpretation of it. It is a favorite amongst my friends. I even catered my friend's wedding with this sauce, cooking it for over 100 very happy eaters. I will air this soon. Thanks for watching, Jack.
Salt will not help pasta not stick together (oil barely will, because most of the oil will float to the top rather than coat the pasta), that part is a myth. However, it's often recommended to make the pasta you boil to be boiled in water that tastes like the ocean (so fairly salty), because the pasta will absorb some of the salt water and be seasoned in ways that aren't replicated by just putting salt on the noodles afterwards.
The Oil is a myth. u make the water boiling hot and then put the salt in (btw u cant overload noodles with salt) and let it boil real hard, then throw in your noodles and put a wodden cooking spoon over the edge of your pot. sry about my english
Didn't even think about it but I'm also honored with the pasta bowl you used from your mother. Technically I got this recipe from my mom, as well, except she used the chicken'n broccoli combo. She's not a seafood fan. Weird right? lol
Have to say I really enjoy watching your vids. I've never sat down and watched youtube videos let alone tv as much as I watch you. Love the show, keep it up Jack. Btw you seem like a great dad!
Hey jack.... Can you do some Israeli food like falafel, humus, kabobs and schnitzel just a good idea for the show... Middle eastern food isn't bad for you and you can eat it on the show, enjoy. :)
A small suggestion for the chicken: be sure to brine that bird! 1 gal of water, 3/4 cups of kosher salt, 2/3 cups brown sugar, 3/4 cups of soy sauce, 1/4 of olive oil. What I usually do is boil all ingredients together with 1/2 gal. I let that cool in the fridge. The night before, I mix the brine with the other 1/2-gallon and brine the bird overnight. Next day, take the bird out & wash out the brine from the surface of the chicken. I usually smoke 'em but indirect heat in the 'que works well.
Given the shitty economy and lack of money, maybe you can start a new series on budget meals. Give us total coast for the meal and what it would cost per serving (real servings not micro ones). Thanks and love the shows.
Actually, the salt raises the water's boiling point and because the water then boils at a higher temperature, it helps the pasta cook better... but in essence, it slows the boiling because it takes it longer to reach said temperature...
now it's not a lazy man's recipe. men can barely spell roux let alone make one. thanks for your suggestions. it would be awesome that way, just harder.
Olive oil doesn't really help unless you add it after you drain the pasta, it just floats on the boiling water. Also, always salt the water, it should be as salty as sea water.
no. I upload every friday morning. make sure your subscribed to my channel. I haven't missed a friday in weeks. Last week was things that scare Jack: cooking fish
i know you're mostly joking around dude but you do tend to be a bit too nasty to your kid. it's not endearing, it just kind of comes across as mean. i know it's probably not genuinely nasty but ease up dude.
Heh heh. When he dumped the whole pot into that bowl I was like "Dang Jack, you're gonna eat ALL of that!?" Then I thought for a second and thought "Duh, it's a serving bowl." Sometimes I wonder about myself.
Cool simple recipe, Jack. Pasta and clams is a match made in Heaven. One of my favorites. Funny, because my next episode will be pasta. I am doing my Bolognese sauce. You can check it out soon by searching cookwithsnackmaster here on UA-cam.
Any pasta: exists
Jack: macaroni
man I used to show this channel to my kitchen apprentices, it would frustrate them so much.
try adding dry white wine n garlic........sprinkle with parsley, even better but your is great when i have no wine around. hugs to u n your family

I think you seem like a good fun loving dad that teaches your son to have a fun sense of humor! Too many way too serious ppl out there! I also think this looks delicious! I love this idea! Thanks for posting! God bless!
hahah your son is so funny. " My precious "Grabs the pasta dish.
I really take recipes from you guys and do them. Thanks for the recipe. It's awesome. I had to do it.
Thanks much! I used a few of your other vids for Mothers Day and Fathers Day dinners. The family was very happy with how they came out.
Try making a roux and giving it volume with milk/ cream/your dairy of choice. Most recipes that use condensed cream soups are just stand-ins for a roux anyhow. Hope this helps!
I am not awesome. Just very lucky when I try things. LOL. I am just trying to help regular people cook. I believe that if I can do it then anyone can.
jack junior should have a cooking show for kids on your channel jack he's really adorable
try this recipe but exchange the cream of mushroom with tomato bisque soup. BAM!
I'm a red sauce kinda guy but, that looks great. The salt in in the water helps it boil faster. The oil in the water does help with the pasta from sticking but, so does stirring regularly. I was told the oil keeps the starch in the pasta water from foaming too much and causing boil overs. Salt is mainly so you don't have bland pasta.
I made this tonight and my picky 12 yr old daughter had 2 servings so it's definitely a keeper 👍👍. And it definitely was perfect to make during this blizzard we're having today.
Oh no please don't serve this

Nothing beats sup tulang from singapore. Highly recommended by anthony bourdain
no cream of mushroom soup shouldn't be substituted with cream and mushroom (as far as i know). You can find it at your local supermarket in the can/soup aisle. Campbell's is usually the kind we get.
yes. I am using precooked frozen or you can used precooked canned or just cook fresh.
I certainly will show how to make my interpretation of it. It is a favorite amongst my friends. I even catered my friend's wedding with this sauce, cooking it for over 100 very happy eaters. I will air this soon. Thanks for watching, Jack.
You salt your water for the flavor if u were wondering
Salt will not help pasta not stick together (oil barely will, because most of the oil will float to the top rather than coat the pasta), that part is a myth. do you have ever cooked/eaten something fresh? instead of canned or frozen or prepackaged?
Always salt your pasta water. Not to keep the noodles apart, to season them properly.
The Oil is a myth. u make the water boiling hot and then put the salt in (btw u cant overload noodles with salt) and let it boil real hard, then throw in your noodles and put a wodden cooking spoon over the edge of your pot. sry about my english
youre such a cool dad!
You should always salt your pasta water.
I just subscribed to your channel. I love it. I am definitely going to try this one out. The lazy part makes it right up my alley.
I'm making this today can't wait
$50 Walmart. It's a dutch oven. it's a porcelain coated cast iron. heavy as every but a pleasure to clean
awsome you should talk to some tv companies to make you a show it will be soo different of the regular boring cooking shows ;)
Didn't even think about it but I'm also honored with the pasta bowl you used from your mother. Technically I got this recipe from my mom, as well, except she used the chicken'n broccoli combo. She's not a seafood fan. Weird right? lol

Hey jack.... Can you do some Israeli food like falafel, humus, kabobs and schnitzel just a good idea for the show... Middle eastern food isn't bad for you and you can eat it on the show, enjoy. :)
Yes! I Love Lazy Man`s Food:)
Yes! I want jack Junior in more episodes :D!
I assume you can use alfredo sauce , itd be just as good. but if you are gonna go alfredo sauce might aswell replace theclams with chicken
That's my recipe! So nvr expected you to air it. Awesome!
Jack jr is the best! :D
Yes, Jack Jr. on every episode!!!
this sounds great. I might do that. Thanks.
what would you think if you were one of the friends jack invited over for his canned clam linguine?
thank you so much

Years of watching Food Network has taught me that the salt is to flavor the pasta. :P
Given the shitty economy and lack of money, maybe you can start a new series on budget meals. Give us total coast for the meal and what it would cost per serving (real servings not micro ones). Thanks and love the shows.
I was explaining the reason people salt the water, not the best way to keep pasta from sticking. I'm not sure what prompted that outburst.
Name a pasta other than macaroni.
Actually, the salt raises the water's boiling point and because the water then boils at a higher temperature, it helps the pasta cook better... but in essence, it slows the boiling because it takes it longer to reach said temperature...
use cream of chicken or cream of celery
How are your veggies in the garden doing?
looks good wish i could eat it tho
now it's not a lazy man's recipe. men can barely spell roux let alone make one. thanks for your suggestions. it would be awesome that way, just harder.
I need to watch. Do you show how to make a bolognese?
salt and oliv oil workes awesome m8.
salt makes the water boil hotter at a lower temp and the oil makes the noodles not stick. ^_^
hey jack could u do an episode on chicken cordon bleu?
not weird at all
Olive oil doesn't really help unless you add it after you drain the pasta, it just floats on the boiling water. Also, always salt the water, it should be as salty as sea water.
HEY JACK!! can you please do more playing with your food i really enjoy them please reply back! LOVE YOUR SHOW BY THE WAY
great recipe jack. you should rethink using foods from cans because of the toxic BPA content that is found in cans and goes into the food
no. I upload every friday morning. make sure your subscribed to my channel. I haven't missed a friday in weeks. Last week was things that scare Jack: cooking fish
Can i add garlic to this? I love linguine and garlic clams just wondering if that would be too intense ?
u didnt say ... Hey there Jack Scalfani here and ur cooking with jack !! :D love ur show :D!
My pasta is cooking I'm ready
Jack where can we send u recipes?
man i've been waiting for your new episode for a long time! when do you exactly upload a new episode?? i think this one took longer to come out!
Also u can use your pasta water like save some and add that its better for u than milk
lolol your son is such a troll. love it :D
ok thanks~
Yeah, on camera, the bowl looks like it's an average cereal/soup bowl size, so I was like O_o when you dumped that whole pot into there, heh heh.
At 2:58 he said macaroni but it was linguine lol
i know you're mostly joking around dude but you do tend to be a bit too nasty to your kid. it's not endearing, it just kind of comes across as mean. i know it's probably not genuinely nasty but ease up dude.
Vlogs and Housemates V&H... You don't have kids dude
Can you do some low carb recipes?
Not all of us live in the US, so the cost per meal is totally unimportant, since every country has different prices for the same ingredient.
Is there an alternative to cream of mushroom? I'm allergic to mushrooms but I want to try this recipe
This looks amazing and LAZY Perfect! good job Jack
For 6 people? :OO I'd finish that with only another person!
Lol I love your son XD
Heh heh. When he dumped the whole pot into that bowl I was like "Dang Jack, you're gonna eat ALL of that!?" Then I thought for a second and thought "Duh, it's a serving bowl." Sometimes I wonder about myself.
canned clams tastes funky ...

Cool simple recipe, Jack. Pasta and clams is a match made in Heaven. One of my favorites. Funny, because my next episode will be pasta. I am doing my Bolognese sauce. You can check it out soon by searching cookwithsnackmaster here on UA-cam.
LOL. I never thought about that. :D
love this idea!
can i use shrimp instead of clams?
Adding salt to the water seasons the pasta.
do you think Heavy cream would work instead of milk?
PRECIOUS
my wife takes it to work and shares it.
Putting oil in the pasta water helps keep the pasta separate but it also coats the pasta and the sauce won't stick to it.
DARE : Drink a shot of clam juice
hey Jack you should open a restaurant called "The Lazy Man's Lazy Shack"
