So I Just bought a Thicker Merv 8 Filter, Cut it to Size and put it right behind My intake Vent Hood, that Way it Filters Everything Before it Even makes into the Unit's Core. Before that It was Sucking in Bugs and Making it all the way inside My House. A little Info for anyone who cares to know.

Does the unit connect to the furnace is any way? Like do you run the furnace fan when the ERV runs or is the ERV independent of the furnace?
My system does not, but the Broan HRV has that option. I have hydronic heat and it's a separate system.
