In Focus: Danh Vo, Park Seo-Bo, Isamu Noguchi in Venice | White Cube

Artist Danh Vo and curator Chiara Bertola discuss co-curating ‘Danh Vo, Park Seo-Bo, Isamu Noguchi’ at Fondazione Querini Stampalia, an exhibition that coincides with the 59th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale (2022).
Vo frames the space with wooden sculptures and places his photographic portraits of flowers alongside Park Seo-Bo’s ‘Écriture’ paintings and Isamu Noguchi’s sculptures, weaving an open-ended dialogue. The artist’s curatorial approach responds to the foundation’s architecturally layered history, labyrinthine layout and ever-growing collection of art, artefacts and books.
