What do you look for when renting or buying a home eg like high ceiling etc

The general UK new homes are 2400mm. From a designer point of view, whenever I see a home with high ceiling, I get excited but the reality remains that high ceilings equate high budget because the curtains will be bespoke. So if you are on a budget, high ceilings shouldn’t matter to you at all
