Meghalaya's Garo Hills has also been adversely impacted by the floods. While large chunk of land has been submerged in some areas, landslides have disrupted communication in some others. The Bgahmara-Bolsalgre road has been blocked by landslides. South Garo Hills is among the worst affected districts.
