Love how the whale shark is now seen as the daughter of India. In India it’s customary for the daughter to comes home to give birth, just as the whale shark gives birth on the shores of these fishermen villages in India, video explains.
Way to go India! Saving the whale shark for its own sake, not for economical gain or eco-tourism :) I´m impressed by some things I encounter when it comes to conservationist work in India. Thank you!
From Tigers, Lions, Leopards , Elephants , Peacocks, Rhinos, Whale Sharks and Now Cheetahs in Kuno. India has done very well in protecting these beautiful Animals. India has some of the best care takers in the world. I have been to Gir National park in Gujarat and the care they take of the Asiatic lions are amazing. I Know 8 Cheetahs have died but i have full faith in Indian Care takers they will definitely take care of the Cheetahs as they are taking care of other animals. Well documented PBS👏
This man is truly a hero and Morari is a teacher of mother nature... Truly they are becoming humanity of mother nature..... 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Don't let them end your protection is to survive the whole world..
This is such a beautiful story! They've genuinely thought about so many aspects of integrating the communities with wildlife conservation and effectively implemented them, it is so admirable!
Wonderful to see such wide support for a conservation effort...local agency, spiritual leader, fisherman's association, community, and government, all coming together to save the beautiful whale shark! Well done all!!
The Whale shark project is now extended to the entire western coast of India to Kerala by Wildlife Trust of India. They are doing a commendable job. May be the loss of fishermen could be further reduced by enabling them to arrange tourism packages where tourists could swim with whale sharks in ocean like in Maldives.
This is how the spiritual gurus should act, to use their reach to positively influence the followers rather than thiking about monetary gain and power. My respect towards Morari Bapu.❤
- Thank God for this spiritual leader as well as everyone involved for saving them. What a shame it would've been to lose such a *beautiful* creature. 8:00
These are the things that make me proud of being an Indian. We Indians are known for being non-violent and compassionate. Despite having widespread poverty, heart of our people is full of compassion.
Government should start tourism and wildlife photography industry based on these magnificent beasts. Many countries already have 'whale watching' tours, a great way to create alternative income for local plus protect the species.
When you fish in supermarkets, even when they claim sustainability, they often are not. They starve sea creatures, they carve up sea ecosystems. Fish stocks are in crisis. "The oceans die, we die". Anyone can surely take it easy on fish consumption until stocks recover. Take up fishing as a hobby, or support someone who does & buy from them.
Bringing tourists from the world over to see and swim with the whale sharks would boost the local economy, particularly for fisherman who become guides, hotel and restaurant owners and so on.
Anyone helping this being, who is reaching an important stage in is own karmic cycle of birth in form, ascending from the primordial conscience of the ocean, the shark who is also modest in how it consumes has taken this body as the whale shark, in a journey towards the eternal sanatana became the docile and peaceful being it is. And thus, to help such a being who is on this path, is surely dearest to Krishna and will be with him closely. Free from all suffering, and a great sacrifice was performed in devotion to this beings welfare, in the path through karma, and thus the doer of these actions is triumphant in heaven and is deeply beloved by God personally. This is the living Gita. Do all in sacrifice.
The whale Shark is very close to Krishna in its pathway through the primordial karma of this souls cycle. That is why it always remembers and returns to this shore, to be born an enlightened Guru. Please ensure this soul is with us and with love given to us like a gift it is. This is a special being. "Of all fish, I am the shark." - Krishna This is the greatest of all sharks, therefore is akin to Krishna himself.
Why not make it a marine protected area and rely on alternative eco-tourism as income? All the whale sharks caught in nets do not look good, especially the vulnerable young sharks.
As an Indian, i feel thankful to these fishermen. I hope more countrymen will learn to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
- I agree. It may make them good money in the meantime but at *what cost to the population!?* Money is the route of all evil, as the saying goes.
Thank you India for saving these beautiful animals ❤

Awesome 👌 👏
I don't know who this narrator is but please contact audible. A narrator with excitement in their voice is hard to find
He sounds like Dante Basco (Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender)
Yes. This narrator gives feelings to his narration.

Wow
I want that inflatable whale shark!
Gujrat govt only promisis but never delivers compensation.
That's every Subcontinental government everywhere, all incompetent and corrupt to the core from highest levels to the grassroots.

If more of them were Muslims, they could turn one of those whale sharks into Bahamut!
The idea that one of these animals might die to feed 1 of a billion nobodies is pathetic.
I hate subtitles.
Every time i watch videos of this channel
