The carousel horses remind me of the carousel horses at Knoebels Grove. I went to Gillians when I was 10 years old. That was almost 50 years ago. My mother took my sister and I when we were vacationing in OCNJ. The same year JAWS was released which we saw the movie at the Strand Theatre on the boardwalk that same year:
Great tour of Wonderland. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching. I’m glad I could preserve the final iteration of the park in someway.
Thank you for a really great tour of the park 🙂
And that's funny Bubba gets called a dog again 😎 but he's actually a mountain lion🦁
As long as the infrastructure itself is in good shape, then it does seem to have really good bones. Hoping for the best. 🤞🏽😬

If the park does get sold off piece by piece I could see gene staples picking up most of the rides for his three parks
I wonder what they will do with this when it closes. Maybe make it into a new amusement park or fair?
Nobody knows it’s presumed that it will be condos or houses or whatever. We’ll just have to wait and see.
What a dump! It’s a shame, this was my first amusement park too.
