Great video! I've been involved in a snowshoe hare project in northern Minnesota. We're in our first year. It's interesting noting similarities and differences.
They like hemlock and spruce forest. I hunted them for 30 or more years.they make a little indentation in the deep snow and peak out of it.They also like swampy areas with high humicks to sit on.
Keep up the great work, animals and ecosystems have always been interesting to me.Very educational thank you for the video
Those snowshoe hares look a lot bigger than the ones we see in Western Canada in the mountains! great video, very interesting.
When I grow up I want to work at the PA Game Commission.

Which state game lands did you do the research in Warren County???
Haven't seen a snowshoe hare here in northeastern elk county since I was about 12 years old. I'm 38 now. Plenty of coyotes and foxes though😡
What kind of dog is that?
Where are snowshoe hares in pa?
your range map is wrong
other than the fact that its missing part of michigan and wisconsin which are reported to have snowshoes, no its not
Why do you just push them into a bag that's so rude and to trap them still rude but that's good tat your trying to save them.
