Second naz if you like dance and acting maybe you should try musical theater I do it if you like that kind of dance x❤
4th also I've been watching for like 3 yrs
I have been a legend for 4 years now. You guys make me so happy, whenever i see you upload i watch straigh away and it makes me so happy to be apart of a loving community. Watching your videos i have basically grown up with the norris nuts. Sabre is so beautiful and i cant believe how fsr shes come, Sockie is such a good cook and i remember watching her seeing gordon ramsay and i was so happy when she achieved her dream, Biggy has the biggest heart and has grown so much into a handsome boy and is so good at music, and Naz always looks so pretty, and her vlogs are always so calming and make me feel happy. Thank you so much Norris Nuts for making me feel happy when i am sad 🤍🩵🩷 Love you all
Just to let you know if you ever do end up taking ballet classes in Bondi the studio will most likely have a dress code, meaning a black leo, pink tights, and pink flats so don’t invest too much into comfy/cute dance wear before you know what your studio will allow!
couldn't of said it any better, except i have dance for 7+ years and i have been to many studio's some yes you do need to wear a black leotard, but others require a different colour leotard depending on the class, no hate just a correction :)
Agreed for my dance studio is skin, colored tights and black Leo. For rehearsals, the same with comp but musical theater is the only class that you can wear whatever color leotard you want❤❤
@@Angel.cherub yeah for sure I was just giving an example you knoww
@@Bellalove749 interesting! My studio has all black policy for every class, however hip hop and acro are less strict on the policyy
Mine only allows red or blue and can’t be light only dark
i did ballet for 7ish years and my feet are blistered!!! so if you do ballet, pls make sure you use ALL of the protection provided for your feet and warm up+stretch really well! (edit: i saw someone commenting abt people doing ballet cuz its coquette, and theyre so right. naz, if ur doing ballet cuz of the aesthetics, please dont.)
Yup everyone make this go crazy so jaz doesn’t have blisters!

frfr it HURTS but the results are so cute and it makes you proud of yourself in the end !!
I did ballet for like 4-5-6 years then the company stopped,i stilll do it in my free time though,it was kid ballet so nothing serious.
I've done it for 10
Ive done ballet 12 years now and i think everyones stage makup is different depending on where they go, and i also HATE it when people do it just for the "aesthetics" but if your genuinely intrested go for it but ad your starting late you will need to work very hard as ballet is all about hard work but also make sure you enjoy it
I think shes def doing it for aesthetics bc she said she likes balletcore many times but im p sure she doesnt realize it only looks graceful because ballerinas make it look easy w skill and balance
she is doing it just for the aesthetic
So true!!
Ikr like the aesthetic of ballet is not all coquette it’s eating disorders and injuries

The way biggys teaching her how to do ballet is so supportive he’s such a good brother 😭❤️💀
real like thats so sweet
Yh my bro would never do that
Hey Naz!! As a ballerina myself, it definitely isn’t too late for you to begin, but for the best experience for someone starting later, I would recommend taking privates from dance teachers where you get 1 on 1 attention. It’ll be good when learning the basics and it’ll help you improve more quickly. You’ve got this Nazzy!!! I’ll Be here to support you all the way!!!
honetly its never too late to start i started 2 years ago and I dont wanna be arrogant saying im good but im defetly better that 2 years ago, ofc not up to pointshoes but im an intermetian.

She’s doing it for the 'aesthetic' and tbh if she doesn’t actually like doing and watching and performing ballet then I don’t think she should do it especially if it’s for the aesthetic.
agreed tho@@elise4580
You so true❤❤❤❤
naz’ family should be supportive of her wanting to do ballet, like who cares if she starts late? be supportive and stop saying “your starting too late”
Fr
I have a feeling though that she only wants to do it because she thinks it’s aesthetic and when she actually does it she’ll stop because of how painful it is
They are being surpprtive but their kinda right if she starting she is starting late so it will be rlly hard for her to catch up and it’s rlly embarrassing going to dance any everyone is so good and ur not.
Right I just started because we learn it in high school and it’s pretty fun and I learned pretty fast so it really don’t matter what age you start.
they are being supportive though; they’re simply giving her advice, making her aware of what could go wrong. it’s criticism in a way but it’s constructive.
Sabre knows things tho fr, ballet instructor’s prefer black over other colors it depends.
You can tell Naz wants it. I support you! You can start ballet at any age. Nazzy it's a perfect time to start ballet
no not really, people her age are already on pointe shoes which take lots of practice to even go on and achieve the strength and balance needed
@@lankycarrotyou can literally start whenever you want, no she probably won't be as good as people her age but she will be in a beginner class so she definitely won't be on pointe lol

Hey Naz! I’ve been doing ballet for about 10 years. Rn I’m doing pointe and it’s very fun but it’s also very hard. You get a lot of blisters and it takes a lot of practice to get to that level and to get comfortable on pointe. Also please make sure to use all the protective for your feet. If it is pointe use toe pads and if your pointe shoe fitter recommends toe gels use them. I also recommend lambs wool, it adds extra cushion. I also recommend using toe tap, this helps with blisters and use it where you need extra cushion. Also a tip is don’t do heavy makeup when you just have a normal ballet class because you sweat a lot. Also since you were wondering what performance makeup we do, I’ll tell you what I do. I don’t know if everyone does this but I use concealer sometimes foundation, blush, eyeshadow (brown, black, white, and sparkly tan) sometimes I do eyeliner, and lastly I use red lipstick. Also don’t do ballet because of the aesthetic. You have to be very committed and you work very hard. For me I have dance 5 out of the 7 days in a week. Sometimes more if I have rehearsal. This isn’t the same for every studio, but my studio is very ballet focused. Meaning our teachers are strict and we have to be very committed to it. But good luck with trying ballet! 🩰
Same I’ve been dancing for six years and I’ve been waiting to get en point. I think I’ll hopefully get on it next year. I’ve been doing ballet for six years as well and a few other classes dance is an amazing sport. I think you’re never too old to start I’ve seen people in their 20s and 30s just starting preferably I think it’s better to start off young I started when I was seven but even I thought that was a little old because some of my dance meet started at three or four, but I love my teachers and dance makes like family❤❤
To be honest, I’m not sure if she will get en pointe just because she is starting ballet so late. If she properly sticks at it she will be lucky to be en pointe before 15 just because she probably doesn’t have all the strength that you need to do pointe. BTW I’ve been doing ballet for 12 years

Oh Yh
U DANCE!!!!!
Personally as a dancer who does ballet, I just wear whatever keeps me warm and comfortable in ballet. When I do shows or performances, I wear only a little bit of makeup like some mascara or none at all. In my opinion, don’t try to wear all the “ballet kit” because it won’t keep you comfortable and warm especially because you are only doing it as a hobby and not professionally. My final tip is if you go to ballet lessons, don’t compare yourself to other people and you can never start too late because I started a few years ago and already made a lot of progress.
Btw I love you guys and I hope that you have fun whilst doing ballet because that is the main point x
True
Fax bro❤❤
True I’m a ballerina and I wear like pajama pants to rehearsal.
That is so true. In my opinion I feel like ballett has been transformed into an aesthetic and some people are trying to romanticize it. Otherwise it is cool that she wants to try it out.
i cant because i have to wear uniform for mine
I have done ballet for 11 years:
I suggest consistent stretching for short periods of time to increase flexibility, and definitely strength training. It’s often overlooked, but it’s really important, especially core training. I would suggest a 2 minute plank along with your stretching routine.
Naz, if you really want do pointe, it will take atleast a few years to reach the correct strength, but you can definitely achieve this if you work hard! You should do ankle strengthening exercises on UA-cam, and foot flexibility. Both are key to become strong enough for pointe.
You can definitely start off self taught, but if you are looking towards pointe I would recommend joining a ballet class.
For performances we wear heavy makeup! 🤪
You definitely do not have to do it competitively! You mentioned lots of girls do ballet, but this doesn’t matter. Ballet isn’t just about competition, it also develops lots of discipline and structure. It is a great way to relieve stress and I have found it great for physical and mental health. You can definitely start at any age! Good luck, I really hope you continue this journey ❤
We have to do pointe after like 7 months ssooo
As a ballet dancer in Sydney, I can proudly say that it wasn't to bad as your first go and Naz, you and your family should really consider applying you to ballet class and it is truely rewarding and fun!

As a dancer of more than 10 years who has done a ton of ballet, please do NOT rush to pointe! Not that you would but you need to gain strength and have technique before. If your really into dance and ballet I recommend going to classes, usually you will have a recital at the end of the year ( at least in America ) and that just shows all of your skills basically in a dance! Also usually in ballet you have to wear a black leotard and pinkish tights, this could be different where you live though! Definitely don’t be too hard on yourself though, tons of people start out late. It’s completely normal, and don’t let you being older than most people at your level get you down! Im open to answering any questions if you have any, or if just anyone has any!!
Hey im interested in ballet but i just feel like im not gonna be good at it enough 😅 Any advice?
@Ch3rry841 I was TERRIBLE when I first started. Just keep practicing over and over one step at a time. Don't be discouraged when you don't get it. You can search up stretching exercises on UA-cam if that will help. My ballet instructor has us do feet stretches once in a while aswell and that helps too. Remember all good things take practice!
We have concerts at the end of the yr as well
Agreed I’ve been dancing since I was seven. I am 14 now still waiting for a point but I feel like I’ll get it next year. I’ve been doing a lot of hard work. I’ve been dancing for seven years now so hopefully it’s paid off. I love what I do!!

You can do ballet at any body size. Size means absolutely nothing and its a stereotype that needs to end. ANNNND you can absolutely start at ANY age :). You can 100% do pointe with plenty of practice. I started ballet as a teen (was already doing other styles before it) but went on pointe within about one and a 1/2 years with dancing twice a week. It depends truly on your strength and of course technique. Good luck Naz, have so much fun and I'm so happy youre trying new things. You're never too old!
this is a good comment. i am just starting ballet as a teen too so its good to know that there is hope.
it took me 7 years before I got permission to go en pointe...
It all depends truly on your age when starting, how often you practice, strength and technique. Also you really should/need to be 12 start pointe. Hope everyone’s enjoying dancing. Good luck Naz!
Hey naz, I’m a ballet coach in the uk and we have older girls join us all the time, we have beginner classes for them and they often make quick progress and really enjoy it. So whatever anyone says your never too old to start dancing ❤
I've been doing ballet for two years now and i just got promoted to pointe, you just have to work hard and make sure you listen to EVERYTHING the teacher says to do.
NAZ IS LITERALLY SOO PRETTY!
WHY IS NAZ SO GORGEOUS-
I’ve been a dancer for 10 years and ballet is great!! It’s hard work, but also rlly fun. Don’t rush into point. Make sure you always point your toes (maybe type up how not sickle and learn tips) Stretch and strength a lot and make sure you’re fully warmed up before doing ballet!!! Good luck 💕
As someone who’s been doing ballet for nine years, it’s just kind of annoying to me when people wear ballet aesthetic because it’s nothing like what we actually wear to class but if you really want to become a ballerina go for it ❤

@@chrispycreme111 hi love!! i had been doing ballet from ages 2-8 and i recently restarted! i'm currently in a "senior ballet class" which has many different levels of ballet, and you gradually move up in levels as you improve over time. it's just like the different levels of when you're starting young! i'm not exactly sure if every studio does that, but there are certainly studios out there that do (it may require a lot of looking though, unfortunately.. but it's always worth it in the end) if you can't find a studio that has that kind of classes, you can always take private classes. my few tips for you is to practice stretching everyday, watch youtube videos on ballet poses, exercises, etc. i hope it all goes well
@@joliejoliejoliejoliejolie thx so much!! i used to do it from 3-9 aswell and i’ve been missing it lol i’m looking for some places now thx for the advice
I think you’re gonna have lots of fun with ballet! 🎀
Who else loves Naz, she’s so sweet and cares about her siblings and goes through so much effort to make her siblings happy!
Bunny’s officially back!
for ballet it really depends on where and what you're doing but you tend to wear 'stage makeup'. That's basically just blue eyeshadow and red lipstick but it may be different depending on where you are.
Blue eye shadow is debatable as on some skin tones it can make the eye look as if it is rolling back in the socket. Most companies nowadays require browns; darker on the lid and lighter closer to the eye brow. Plus black eyeliner that can be winged to make the eye look bigger from a distance. Also some put the bottom lash line slightly further down and fill the gap with white eye shadow for the same effect. Falsies never go a miss, and definitely some blush to accentuate the cheekbones
@@tinkersprout thank you, that's just how it was for me but it's great to see them being more inclusive and how it varies where you are :)
Hey Naz! Ive been doing ballet for about 6 years now. I go to a studio where ballet isn't super seroius because i do it as like a more fun thing. Im not on pointe. I think it is better to wait a bit until you've mastered the other positions before turning! It is important to stretch enough. During Covid I stopped stretching everyday and I'm still working on getting my splits back. I started when I was 8 years old and I think anybody can start anytime. Remember ballet is supposed to look flawless and elegant. Dont try too hard on making it look perfect. For my recitals, I typically do a more natural base and a glittery eyeshadow with a little eyeliner and a red lip (varies between what costume you're wearing). Just remember not to be too hard on yourself and have fun!
Naz is so pretty😭

Sabre actually did a really good job at the makeup!
As a dancer AND ballerina of 11 years start with AT LEAST a 20-30 minute warm up because you WILL injure yourself without that. You should search up some stretches for beginner ballet stretches and I recommend trying to get ur mum to get you in a beginners class if you REALLY REALLY want this because ballet is all about commitment and working hard!!! and learn the basics and the techniques of ballet. Its not just brushing your feet and kicking them and turn without pointed toes etc. It has A LOT of technique to it. Like engaging your core when you turn and keeping your hips turned out and things like that. DO NOT rush to point PLEASEE. If you want to do it for fun you should still do it the correct way because you could end up hurting yourself. Also dont expect to be on pointe after 2 months it takes A LOT OF TIMEEEE!!! This is all just to help you so please work, work, work and build your leg strength, core strength, and arm strength, etc. Also work on your flexibility maybe watch videos and do then everyday and you WILL SLOWLY GET THERE!!!
Ye ❤
As someone who has done dance since 2013, I can tell you that Ballet is one of the most hardest styles out of them all. Even though you (Naz) arent planning on continuing though out your life it will be difficult. so many people, including teachers have yelled and made me and basically everyone i know feel horrible when doing Ballet. however if you really push yourself and i mean REALLY push yourself than the pain (from exercises) wont really feel like anything. if you are just starting out i recommend a non competing studio, because even though no you might not be competing others in your class probably will be so the teachers will be unbelievibly harsh on you, where as if you go to a non competing school it will be more about how they can help you grow and get better at your own pace, at least this is what i have learnt. One more thing typically at studios they will have a dress code for me thats a highneck black leo, salmon pink tights out flats and our points (do not push to go on point!!) teachers will also typically judge you if you wear heavy makeup (not that it looks great 👍) safe the heavy makeup for performances and yes we have to wear foundation two shades darker than our skintone on stage which looks awful in person 😂
If naz wants to start ballet now she should try to do private lessons before classes so she can work one on one to progress more quickly
9:31 It’s heavy makeup for concerts but no makeup or natural makeup when your at practices ❤❤❤
Yep!❤
But that doesn't fit the aesthetic she is going for.
Naz is doing the aesthetic of ballet but I did ballet for 6 years and let me tell you, we all looked like clowns with layers and layers of clothing on and dead point shoes 💀💀💀
It’s a hobby that she wants to do not an aesthetic
I did ballet for 4 years, age 3-7ish an it was very fun, but don't do it for esthetic or for others, make sure its for you and only you, remeber , when you start you can always stop. Just trying it out is great! Have fun Naz❤
That is about the time I did ballet for but quit it to focus more on my ice skating growing up. Ballet is good for balance though I recommend mastering the basics first before going further with it.
Hey Naz!!!! I’m not a ballerina, but I am a competitive dancer and it’s never too late to start taking classes!!!!
On sabers comment about ballet around 3:10 as someone who has a lot of experience in ballet I’ll say that there’s actually not many girls in ballet schools especially as you get older because a lot of girls quit under the pressure, it’s a very very mentally and physically challenging art form but it’s also wonderful if you love it, it’s my biggest passion in life 💗
it makes me so happy to see naz back with bunny 💗😭
Aww Nazzy u look so beautifullll
I’m a ballet teacher and you can absolutely start now! You are never to old to try something you are interested in :) I’ve always hated it when kids come to my classes and say that they were told they were to old for dancing, I’ve had students start when they were adults, if you love it, it doesn’t matter how old you are! Go for it ❤️
Naz is so pretty♥️
there are beginner ballet classes for every age group. the good thing about beginner ballet classes is that u can work up to pointe work depending on how advanced and dedicated you are! there are no age limits to be a great ballerina one day, as long as you stay consistent and work hard you can eventually get there!
It’s totally fine to start ballet at an older age, but you might be in classes with kids a lot younger than you. When I did ballet, there was an adult in one of the lower classes and she did great!
Naz i think you should have waited to buy ballet wear as most ballet schools require a specific leotard or uniform to wear during classes (depending what grade/level you are)
I've been dancing ballet for years and I'm sooo proud of you Naz!! It makes me so happy that you're so interested in learning ballet! It can be challenging at times, but it's so much fun (especially the recitals where you get to dance on stage and wear a beautiful, sparkly costume! Hehe)! And once you become a more advanced dancer, you can get Pointe shoes (special ballet shoes that allow you to dance on your tippy toes)! Also, you are NEVER too late to start ballet! It's never too late! I can't wait for you to go to your first ballet class! 🌸🌺

Hey Naz! I have been dancing since I was 2 years old and here is my honest advice for you. Starting late is very challenging for dancers but I reckon if you work very hard and your passionate 1 on 1 lessons would be really good to start out with. Starting with having private lessons would be really good to build up your basic technique and confidence which means then going into classes with other people when you are ready would be really good. Good luck!

Also outfits aren’t the biggest deal.. usually ballet dancers at a more advanced level where black or blue and younger dancers wear pink, but it’s totally up to you which outfit you get until you join a group (if you do) also don’t worry about doing pointe because it’s not something everyone is ready for, I think it’s grade 10/ 9 when you get pointe shoes (correct me if I’m wrong) but I’m proud of you Naz welcome to the dancers club! 🩷

Hi nn, words cannot describe how much this family has helped me in so many ways. I’ve been here since “ sabre and the Norris nuts “ and the swim school and when disco and charm were born. Sabre is so strong for overcoming everything she has accomplished so many things and she is gorgeous. Sockie is a bundle of joy, very kind hearted she’s so good at taking care of her animals and I love how she doesn’t care what people think! Biggy is my favourite nn I can’t believe he thought no one liked him, he is the best brother and I love the relationship between him and charm even though biggy didn’t want her at first. Naz is absolutely beautiful and she is so real for opening up to everyone, also love her style and personality. Charm and disco are the best UA-cam babies! They are to cute and very smart. Mama and papa Norris are the BEST parents to all of there children and they have overcome loads of terrible things, but most of all I love this family because they have got me through highs and lows. I really hope you don’t quit ❤ it would mean the world to me if one of the nn noticed.❤❤
I am so excited that you are starting ballet Naz! Don’t feel discouraged that you are a late starter. You would be surprised how many people start late!
I’ve been doing dance and ballet for 12 years and it’s so great to see naz trying something new! For shows the makeup depends normally on what the show is and what the dance school wants but usually it’s a full face. Dancing is such a great sport and you definitely need to be prepared to put in lots of work as it takes awhile to build up your skills but have fun. For the winter or if cold I definitely suggest putting ankle warmers over your tights 😂❤
Same I’ve been dancing for six years and with my studio it’s black Leo skin color tights I say you’re never too old to start ballet. I have seen people in their 20s and 30s just started preferably it’s better to start young I started when I was seven but you can start whenever the Frick you want. I love my teachers and dance mates like family.❤❤
Naz slays everything ❤️
sabre is right! i am about naz’ age and i have been doing dance for abt 9 years, i have also done 5 shows. obviously not for every dance school, but for mine for on stage we wear a full face (dark foundation, red lipstick, i know, very full on😅) but for regular rehearsals i just curl my lashes and put on some brow gel. love you two and cheering you on naz❤
hi naz ❤ i’m a new starter as well (i’ve been doing it for 2 years) and i definitely recommend going to an actual ballet school and get either privates or a graded class (i would say grade 3-4 ballet definitely) and i don’t understand why people have to hate. id also definitely recommend finding a strong stretching routine that you do before you do it and i know that you probably won’t but PLEASE do not try to get pointe shoes. i would recommend waiting until your teacher to tell you you’re ready ❤❤❤
Been here since 2017. It feels so lovely to see you all grow up and change❤❤😭❤❤
Catch me knuckles!
Under an hour gang
And yes I liked my own comment
Yesssssss
Hi Naz i'm a ballerina an a tip i can give you is that really think about this ballet is not all about Crockett its about hard work and without proper stretching you might really injure yourself no hate though i love you guys and ballet is really awesome
biggy looks so cuteeee
Joining ballet later in your life is fine! Especially if your more interested in lessons rather than competing and I’m sure you could learn up to a competing level you don’t need to join young to be good
Hii I'm a dancer my self and I started when I was 2 it's so fun!!
Hi Naz! I am a ballerina and have been for 7yrs! I have done many pantos and shows as one! You have to wear heavy blush, foundation, mascara and lipstick! Like sabre said, the lights make your face pale if you don't have heavy makeup on! I wish you luck in your new hobby! Love you guys! xxxxx
NAZ PLEASE READ WHOLE THING SUPER IMPORTANT: get cloth split soul shoes it molds your feet beautiful also As a dancer who’s been doing it for 12 years I HATE when people do it for aesthetics but if you’re genuinely interested go for it! ALSO DONT GO STRAIGHT INTO POINTE ITS DANGEROUS. It’s never too late to start dancing however keep in mind starting late also means you may not be able to do things like pointe or perform or audition for places. Ballet is hard work that cannot be self taught and you don’t wanna get in the habit of teaching yourself wrong so please either just watch videos on how to or get classes! I’m so proud of you for starting ballet it’s so beautiful I am a competitive dancer so I do all dance types and I love watching people who have a passion start late also for stage performances we wear heavy makeup because of bright light we use bright blush with a brown eyeshadow look and bright red lipstick! We also typically use a low middle part bun.
❤❤ I love u guys so much
Hiii love you all guysssssss!!!
Wait hold up.. I thought I was the only one who does hair like that?!?!?! Nice to know im not the only one out there who has to whip their hair forward to style it 😂 Stay well naz, your gonna do amazing!!
