@@amazing5392 I'm bipolar and I feel like a burden to my husband and my family. Dealing with mental health issues is hard. We feel guilt, shame, like we're judged for being unwell but mostly alone. I hope he's getting therapy, on his meds and if he's not already, he should find a support group, so he won't feel alone. I'd also express for you to go to therapy and find a support group for spouses dealing with a bipolar spouse because you too will need support and an outlet because it all can become a bit much. I hope I wasn't talking out of turn but, this is close to my heart. I want the stigma (especially with black people) to go away and get educated so people can understand people dealing with mental health issues aren't "crazy" or "bad people" but people who need additional help more than others.
The only part that upsets me is people making fun of him possibly having a disability. I cannot get down with that. I teach children with emotional and physical disabilities. So people do need to be more mindful💯

Artist development is truly necessary especially with these artists nowadays, but labels are only looking for those that are trending at the moment. They see dollar signs and the artists now see fame and overall popularity.
They definitely need guidance and trustworthy ppl in their corner
Yep, they don’t care about longevity anymore which can be a HUGE money maker. Artist make a killing off residencies and tours. A couple of hits can’t carry a whole nationwide tour.
I saw some little young artist perform at a music festival a few years ago, and when I tell you awful was an understatement! That dude walked around in circles on stage and looked at the ground the entire performance like he was on the spectrum. Artist development is desperately needed for this generation!

He seemed struck with real brokenness and grief after Takeoff was unalived, which was beyond sad. He lost two industry friends back-to-back so I know that it hit home for him. I hope he gets some long-term help.
Zana helped him way before he was signed. She was there when the song was made. She worked at 105.1 and Kanye asked her to play an unsigned artist that she feels could get a deal and though she worked with other artists, she chose her man

Whenever an artist signs someone to their label and do not help guide them it reminds me of how a lot of the jobs are out here, they expect you to just walk into the job with no training and get right to work. They do not want to teach you at all and act annoyed whenever you ask about something you do not know. That's just like throwing someone into a lake and expecting them to swim. Kanye could have taken him under his wing and showed him how the industry works.
