@@thecrusadesofbangbangthe tree itself has a great growth habit and it looks very nice. The production last year was amazing in the quantity of mangos, this year was a huge disappointment.
The issue, which is why I may cut it down and replace it, is the flavor of the mangos. Cogshall in my opinion is not a very good tasting mango.
I may replace it with lemon meringue. I have three other trees now so I won’t miss it. I’ll wait until I harvest all the fruit off the tree this year before making a final decision.

Bought a few Zinc mangos a couple weeks ago to try. Very floral, little citrus flavor just delicious especially close to the skin which is kinda rare for most mangos. Was surprised since it doesn't seem to popular. I want to buy a tree to add to my collection now.
We are out of that variety now...

Alphonso produces well in SoCal deserts and AZ. It loves dry high heat (100F+)
Oh my gosh. We had a great trip and tour. Brought a ton of fruit but then we ate them all in less than a week. Guess Bill was right Need more mangos in my life. Can I purchase a mango mail order??

Try alphanso from ratnagiri, india. It will be best tasting. Alphnso like hot and humid climate.
I thought coconut cream had thin skin. Poor producer too, but flavor can be very nice.
Overripe looking nam doc mai seem to have good flavor also, Ime.
