I repeat a similar comment on many of these 70s and 80s commercial collections. I can't explain how enjoyable these are to watch. The pull of nostalgia is so powerful. I was born in 74, so this is my childhood. While nostalgia is a big part of the attraction, I honestly believe there were a lot of aspects of life in the 70s and 80s were genuinely better. Not perfect (no time is), but better.

At 56:21 the audio and volume were silenced for a momentary notice, as if it were for any copyrights, as NBC's on air promos from the 1977-78 season from then-NBC Kansas City affiliate (now Fox 4) WDAF-TV 4 aired "Black Sheep Squadron" and "Police Woman." And the "Police Woman" midshow bumpers at 52:06 and 53:11 used the title theme by Morton Stevens. And the first midshow bumper before an NBC promo and a local NBC station break reminded viewers "Police Woman" will return in a moment, while the second midshow bumper after a local NBC station break did return to "Police Woman" for the second half hour.

When I was a kid, I thought those deodorant containers (or more precisely, the outer sleeves of the containers) would make great doll theaters. Now, I can’t help thinking they do look kind of like marital enhancers (Marital enhancers! Aren’t I classy? 😊)

Imagine that, Exxon promoting solar energy while their research was showing that oil was causing global warming, then denying that research.

When was the last time an NFL team had a player like Garo Yepremian in terms of ethnicity? 🤨
Also, the music used in the Minute Maid frozen lemonade ad was "Morgenstimmung" by Edvard Grieg.

Good point! Garo Yepremian is, I believe, the only NFL player who was born in Cyprus. ;)
