Excellent again you were lucky and had @ 30 Degrees C we had 14 Degrees C at best Hi
you did very well many thanks .. appreciated
Sundays would not be Sundays without Mr Fishlocker. Always brilliant a true legend. Can't say enough how great I think your content is. But if we don't see Jim cooking that fish in spargo kichen I'm out of here!!! 😂🎣🦞👍🏻🤣
Haha. Jim has permission to just come and help himself to the freezer now. 😊🎣
@TheFishLocker love that!! Your channel is brilliant mate can't give you enough respect 👏🏻.
Almost a perfect video, just needed the house chef showing how to cook the prize catches! Hello from Houston, Texas
Mouth is watering thinking about which way to cook those. I find simple is best.......most of the time anyway
Just sat down with food and a backwood... John your timing is perfect 😂
@rollinrat4850
I was just about to type the same thing , I googled it , it came up with cigars , surely not with food though ?😂
Lovely fish John wish i lived near the sea but I am to old now, hardly eat any fish these days for to much money, I will look forward to next video.
You live an enviable lifestyle John.
People would like the life I live now, but not the one I had to live to get here. 😉
Made my evening this video has.
Another great installment.
I'm slowly convincing the Mrs that a boat is a great idea. We went out on a charter yesterday and she loved it. All inspired from you.
Thanks mate.
Kev
Good for you Kev, have you shown her the videos with Hannah and James on the boat? We love it.
I have mate. She loves your videos too, she is really getting into sea fishing and enjoying it. Its great to have a hobby together. My youngest boys are getting there too. It's such a great sport
Looks lovely down Cornwall its been almost solid rain for a full week on the isle of man
Awesome again John some nice fish all u need now r some chips & salad 4 a great meal .Happy catching from Australia Nick
Another Great Video... Thanks. I still want one of your Black Fish locker Polo shirts 🙂 One day they will be in the Store !
They are all navy blue mate. Keep an eye out on the Fishlocker Fb page. I’ll do another bill order before Christmas 👍🏻
Having a cider and watching this video! Good chill out time! Always look forward to the next one!
11mins in... "Just a little Pollack"... LOL!!! If only!! (still watching) As ever John, each of your videos is an education. Little 'nuggetts' of information throughout, most of which are totally logical if one takes a moment to think it through!! But - as ever... superb John. My thanks once again - and... my Best Wishes to all the family.
Nice one john just as we like em catch and release or catch and cook crack on
Help a land-locked mountain boy understand...I thought if you touch a jellyfish you get stung??? Are you just used to it? Thank you as always for sharing, John. Tight lines and full pots!
There are some jellyfish who do not sting, but also, only the tentacles sting. Not the top.
"Two weeks' worth of fish." Bloody hell, you eat well in your house!
Another fantastic video. What a lovely day for September.
That was a belter of a pollack, beautiful sea bass too. Thank you John great vlog👍
A beet,q cold roast beef roll and the fish locker....now thats a good Sunday
Great table fish John. Nice to fill the freezer with those beauties!! Shame the porbeagle shark cleared the wreck!! Really enjoyed this video mate thank you. Graham 🐟🐟🐟🐟
Smashing John, we eat a lot of Bass here and Tsipora, Sea Bream. Greetings from Cyprus. 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟👍👍
On a serious note, if you live long enough you will become a legend. A fishing guru. Durham made.
Nice one John, watching these videos I feel I’m there with you. You & the family take care.
Brilliant video as usual. Just about ready to use my sib for the first time off Plymouth or Teignmouth. Can't wait to get fishing. Thanks for the informative videos.
Legal bass size in the Isle of Man is 50-60cm. Certainly gives you a good feed
@@TheFishLocker we do. Bass have made a huge come back over the years. Although the rising number of seals won’t be doing it any good 🤣🤣
Glorious, weather, great sea state and two brace of perfect fish. Life doesn't get much better, and we get to come along too!😀
Loved watching this. I found myself smiling so much 😊
A real joy to watch. Thanks John.
What a great day that was, over all, for you John & as always, the beauty of relaxed but very helpful advice must be a great help for those who already fish & very much so for those who are wanting to try for themselves & I am sure your videos MUST inspire many to 'give it a go'. Regards to all your family as well John & cheers, Don from South Aust.
Morning, great video again . Hopefully bump into you at the boat show tomorrow.
Matt from Weymouth 🍺
I will try your technique for polcak fishing here in Norway. We got some realy bigonse here
@@TheFishLocker in Oslofjord we dont have more big coalfish is gone 😩 but the pollack is still here Just love those fights 🤩
While I love watching your fishing videos I look forward to your crab pots, it’s the excitement of not knowing what you have caught.
We have had some thefts lately. Until I can deal with the people responsible I wont be doing any more.
Evening John. Fantastic video with some great catches. Happy to see you back doing what you love to do. Great weather, I have to admit I didn’t know about the ball of loose line that would change to a not and then break the line. I hope this email finds you. Curious to see that new scar at the back of your nogin … Good luck and God bless. R
Every day is a school day my friend. I’m covered in scars mate. I’ve lived a lads life. 😉🤣
Brilliant videos as usual,as soon as I turn Utube on yours are the first video's I go to, brilliant when you've got your son with you, I'm trying to work my way through all your videos
Jealousy is a terribly depressing feeling.
I love watching your amazing channel. Thanks.
Contravertial but you're the man to give a good opinion. Why take a breading sized fish and throw back a fish because of inches that could be eaten.
That’s why I have a preferred slot size. Leaving the biggest and the smallest.
Hi John,I hope you and your family are well, what a fantastic fishing trip on a beautiful day you can’t ask for more, those bass and pollock were well worth the trip and I like to eat either especially fresh bass as you can’t beat it,as usual I thoroughly enjoyed every minute so thanks.👍🏻
I tried fishing a wreck for the first time yesterday, I didn't have much luck. Seeing you using the weight to get down now makes so much sense. Excellent information there I'll definitely be doing that next time. 👍🐟
Those bass are pretty fish. And the pollack are begging to be filleted. Great day.
Thanks so much for sharing as always Mate :)
I really enjoyed watching on a Monday Arvo with a couple of coldies :)
Those Bass are lovely steamed Whole with Soy Sauce, Ginger, Spring Onions and Coriander Yum Yum :)
Cheers
Rob.
I agree mate. James and I like them cooked plain with some butter and seasoning.
A very nice video as always John. Thanks 4 sharing and nice fillets by the way😊. Greetz from Stipo, Holland
There's some lovely fish there John ! and what a beautiful day to match 👍🏴
Wonderful trip John. I have an idea for you. You could use some flat head self tapping screws and install a metal yard stick to your platform and keep yourself from fiddling with a tape measure. ❤. Much love to you and James Lizzy and Hannah. Big hugs to you for sharing the trip. I’m going to be ordering a sweatshirt soon. It’s finally getting cook here.
I have a plan for something just like that. Shows great minds thinking alike. 😉
Fantastic day out John. Excellent catch for the day. You can see why Cornwall is so popular with the weather. Last Sunday we had just over 20 degrees in Amble, gone down and got wet since. 👍
Hey John! Hope you and the family are well!! Just was wondering if there is a fish limit like the crab and lobster? Thanks!!
Superb fishing John, really enjoyed watching that, thanks for sharing that with us
I can tell that you can identify when it's a wrasse that hooks up, but can you tell us what their hit feels like that is so distinctive? A video where you explain the different species line-bite feels would be really cool.
Hi John
For à straight drift Turn your engine opposite direction of the wind.......
From 30 years experience on boats do you think something so basic is beyond my knowledge? You see me do that in over 100+ videos and if it would have worked I would have done it.
What a beautiful start to the day, fine weather & a blue backdrop. Savour every moment John. Great days fishing, made up your plans came to fruition, top fish, top tips as ever. Thoroughly enjoyed it, cheers & thank you 👏👏👏
Thank you Stephen, on a day like this you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else would you. 😊🎣
Another great video from the expert, a super days fishing, well done. I know that I've mentioned this before but back in the 1950s/early 60s the approach to bass fishing was completely different. The ideal keepers were in the 30-35cm range, pan sized. Anything bigger was always put back, by the way there weren't any size limits back then, or number restrictions. We also ate wrass.
These things will always evolve as more is known about the life cycles and fisheries.
Quality video pal, we was over in coverack when you was out and the jellyfish there was bonkers huge rafts off them in for a couple of days then disappeared lol 😂
They really was the kids were throwing them at each other in the harbour 😂😂
I used to run one tank at a time but got caught out once and a old head told me to run both tanks never had a problem after that piece of mind nice bass there
I prefer to use them singularly. I know when one’s empty I have to start heading home.
I bumped into Spargo today in Falmouth town. What a lovely chap even let me get a selfie 😃
Jim is simply wonderful. One of the best men I have ever known. 💙
@@TheFishLocker last week I seen Hannah in Truro Tesco buying some cleaning products but I didn’t have the balls to say anything 😂.
