After giant contribution to Rock music, Richie Blackmore deserve greatest thing in life, which is doing something that you actually love.And doing it with his lovely wife.
I was backstage at a DP show once, and he walked past us without looking at us, presumably as he didn't know any of us. When one of us went over and asked him about the encore, he was very pleasant and funny and chatted for a while. I don't think he likes to approach 'strangers.' Then again, who does?
I admire Ritchie as a guitarist and personally would like to hear him playing rock as he used to. But he obviously thinks that he’s done his bit and mainly wants a stress- free environment. And seeing him happy and content now makes me happy for him too. And who are we to demand certain types of music from a musician? If one doesn’t like it, they don’t listen to it. Simple as that. I personally do not listen to B’s Night that often as I like rock more. But I respect an artist’s choice once I find them admirable.❤

Music is a pure expression of one’s artistic mind and expression. They’re doing what they love and it sure as hell doesn’t sound terrible. What’s truly sad is that you’ve taken the time to bring such a process down without even giving actual criticism to your review.
