Mid-July Garden Update

It’s mid-July 2024 and this is a quick video update of my garden. We have had some watering woes and excessive heat, but the garden is persevering. I hope you enjoy this video.

Thanks so much for subscribing. I have to admit, I grew the Amaranth purely on looks. Those big heads of grain looked so cool; I just had to try it. I knew that people are the grains so perhaps I need to look into it if I am going to grow it. Thanks!!

Just an idea...good or bad. Try growing the kale in a few 5 gal. buckets. Then if it works, you can move them to wherever they are needed for bug control.
The Amaranth looks great, but I haven't a clue what you do with it.

@@G-nn1xx I may have to try the 5 gallon buckets. Thanks for the suggestion. As for the amaranth, it is a grain so it would be used similarly to other grains. I grew it as an ornamental because I don’t really have a way to process it grain heads.
