I think we all need to change our mentality about one thing been able to fit all skin tones, of course it wont fit all skin tones..never, what companies need to do is having options for different skin tones
Absolutely... when they claim it will work for all skin tones, assume not all shades, maybe 1. And they get by with it because if only 1 shade will work for each tone then they are covered 🤦♀️ Couldn't agree with you more💗
Hey Everyone, for those that are interested in this Palette compared to the Scott Barnes SnaturalPalette I put a picture up in my community center. So sorry I missed that one🤦♀️ Just click on my Community center and you'll find the image there❤ Also, I didn't have the best experience with this face Palette. I never watch reviews of anything I'm reviewing before I try it myself. After filming, I watched a few other reviews on this face Palette and most seem to have a great experience with it. I'm just not a fan of holographic shades on my cheeks, and I didn't use that blush shade as blush truthfully because I didn't think it would show up on my skin. I watched Alecia from Kinky Sweat, and she was able to build that shade on her skin tone and she's a little darker than me. So, it's definitely buildable and doable. It's just not for me. If you love those really glowy looks, I think you'll enjoy it. If not, I wouldn't recommend it ❤ Specially if you have texture on your cheeks. I noticed in other reviews it emphasized texture, so be mindful of that. Some don't mind texture being emphasized. Its definitely subjective 😁❤ That's why UA-cam reviews are so helpful. We all like different things and what works for some, don't work for others. But it's nice to know everything, good and bad before spending $55 on something. And, for me, spending $55 on a face Palette I want to LOOOOOVE it in order to feel good about it. And this Palette just didn't give me that. About the holographic shade almost hitting pan, that could be just my Palette only. Haven't heard anyone mention it yet, I wasn't pushing hard, but i was swirling my finger around trying to feel the texture, so maybe that caused it. Not sure. I've noticed face palette very shiney on other UA-camrs, too. Not for me. I like the eye palette but going to pass on this one. Great video on your channel as usual
The bronze face palette isn’t for me...I’ve watched 3 reviews on this release before yours...kinkysweat as well. Lover her. I don’t think there is enough pigment for blush so it’s 4 highlight shades. I am soo into her bronze eye palette though. Damn!

Beautiful demos, sweetie! I picked up the palette, of course, but skipped on the Face palette because I knew most of the shades wouldn’t work with my ghostly skin tone. LOL! I hope you’re doing well & the kids are happy & healthy! Miss chatting with you. One thing I wanted to add about that cream-to-matte formula...I’ve noticed what I think the dichotomy is...age. Those who are younger (for the most part) seem to really enjoy the formula and have no difficulties blending it. However, those who are a bit older & have more mature, dry skin, seem to not care for it as much. From my own personal experience, I noticed that, depending on how much the skin moves really relates in how the formula blends. As an example, I used the formula to create a look on my daughter-in-law, who is 23. I had absolutely no problem blending the formula on her eyelids and thought, I need to try this again, maybe I was wrong. Nope. I used the EXACT same shades, duplicated the look on my eyes and it was NOT the same. Not even close. Whereas the formula applied and blended beautifully smooth across her lids, on mine, I noticed that it skipped, the formula (and pigment) skipping the folds of my eyes and building heavier on the ridge of the folds (wrinkles). Even closing my eye completely, the formula continued to catch on my wrinkles and ended up looking patchy, as a result. I guess I should say it more has to do with how smooth your eyelids are, as opposed to age, specifically; even though as we age, we get more wrinkles. If you have smooth eyelids, I think you’ll find the formula performs beautifully. If your eyelids are like mine (hooded, wrinkles and dry), I think you might have a little more challenge. I noticed that the key is working very minimally (as you did), blending and building gradually. If you try and go in heavy, as I’ve seen many of the younger youtubers do, nightmare mess. Just thought I would mention that, as it’s been my experience working with that formula since she first introduced it...and I’ve tried all kinds of ways - different brushes, primers, no primers, powder, bare skin, etc. - and still, I’ve had difficulty. PS: I know you hate the Metropolis C-> powder formula but do you think it would be helpful to create one eye with the Bronze and the other with Metropolis with the “similar” shades? Hi Tara. Using the green coloured beauty blender is perfect for picking up the creams in the cheek palette. I hated the green beauty blender for foundation( horrible) but now I found a great use for it. I used brushes and the original beauty blender but nothing worked like the green one. Just a small tip for whoever is interested. Oh and try applying the cream glow over the glow bronze. Gives an amazing colour to the cheeks. I don’t like pink on my face but with the technique I used it looked amazing . ALOT of compliments .💕
All the looks looked great on you Tara. The last look you did reminded me of my ND Gold palette. I was going to pull the trigger on this new eyeshadow palette, but now idk. I love ND eyeshadow formulas, but I have Gold, Sunrise, & mini Nude. I’m passing on the face palette though I skipped the Metropolis, too overwhelming. I have SNatural by Scott Barnes too. So, this might be similar to the ND Bronze.
I had mixed feelings about the face palette at first but the more I use it, the more I like it! The bronze shade in the lower left is a no-go for me for anything other than an eyeshadow. The cream products feel a little dry to the touch but they definitely show up with a dense brush or sponge. The highlighter cream has a pink shift so that could be a deal breaker for some people. The cream blush is really unique. It’s really subtle but I can definitely see it on my skin (MAC NC20). Overall the palette makes for a nice summer glow but I don’t think it’s a must have.

Absolutely loved your eye looks. And I didn’t buy the face palette because I saw Cate the Great’s review and it just seemed the wrong shades for my fair skin. I’ve been thinking about getting the tan since I’ve seen a lot of the reviews. And I totally agree about the mattes... they blended beautifully on the eye.

Honest, fantastic review! 💗💗I didn't buy the Metropolis palette, and Sunset is not my favorite (I decluttered it), but this! It's neutral & that's why I love it so much😍🤩 I ordered the palette & 1 lip gloss (the caramel shade). These are shades I adore & really make my eyes pop. I have the face palette. Used it yesterday and was able to use all 4 shades on my light shin tone. I actually think it's my favorite of all 4 of her face palettes.
Taraaaaaa I had such trouble with the bounce formula too! I was livestreaming and I could NOT figure out the best way in which to use it. I feel you. Good call that you used another bronzer. I really thought there would be a wearable bronzer in this for me, but my skin is just too light for that. You are gorgeous and I love your looks! xoxo
This is why I subscribed to you!!! I love your critical reviews of otherwise very hyped products. I have the Biba and Gold, mini nude eyeshdow palettes, as well as the Tan face palette and I love them. That is saving me a lot of $$$. I withheld buying the Metropolis after watching your review, and have no regrets about not purchasing it either, not because of the formula, but because of the similarity of colors within the palette itself.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video Tara Lynn. Loved your honest opinion. Each of the looks is beautiful. I hate that you hit pan on the face palette; I'm wondering if you received a bad face palette. But you made it work and it turned out great. I agree with you that if you have Metropolis, you probably don't need the Bronze. I bought it anyway because I am just a sucker for warm colors. YES, totally agree. I was hoping for a mini retro vibe for her new Palette. But, I guess we got the Bronze. Lol. Of course i am happy because I have the Metropolis and don't use it often and this Palette is great to replace that. But, I still would have loved a larger version of mini retro😁💋

I’m really liking these looks on you! I have the palettes too. I commented on Morgan Turner’s video how I got the face palette to work for me and I’m much lighter than Morgan even! Is it my favorite ever?? Maybe not. But that doesn’t mean it’s not pretty when on your skin. And I get that you think it’s odd shades for a bronze collection but I challenge that belief; just because a collection is centered around bronze, does not mean everything has to indeed BE bronze. I think the key is that the colors compliment a bronze look. It’s nice because I feel the lighter shades will work for more fair skin tones & the bronze shade & more bronze glow powder will look delicious on deeper skin tones!! 😘😘

I really want the artist couture palette as I love the variety of neutral tones, so I wanted someone to compare those and I'm glad you did! I don't mind the slight overlap there. However, I have the Metropolis palette so it seems redundant to get the bronze if 11 of the 15 shades can be replicated! Doesn't stop me wanting it though 😖😖
I totally understand.. it's definitely a tough call and I think too back to back launches of the same shades. But, I was hoping for a larger version of the mini retro. That would have been so dang fun🙌❤

I love the color story of this eyeshadow palette, so eventually, I do plan on purchasing it. I knew that I would not get the cheek palette though because I rarely used the previous one. I also have textured skin so I avoid any product that would emphasize it. You always give such thorough, thoughtful, and honest reviews. I TOTALLY agree on the face palette. I definitely do not like the product much and feel it's not worth the price. I filmed my review but am going to re-film it tomorrow because I just HATED the way my skin looked in it haha. It looks way better on you though! Hi Tara, excellent review. I just subscribed. I totally agree with your comment about the cream-to-powder formula. It is awful! I have grown to hate my Metropolis palette and regret the $129 I spent on it. It is my first ND purchase that I'm truly unhappy with. Yet, all these UA-camrs rave about Metropolis and I'm thinking, what are they talking about? It is a horrible palette because of the cream-to-powder formula and too many similar shades. I wish ND would stop being so inconsistent with her formulas. Her best eyeshadow formula, IMHO, is the one in Lila and Sunset (I don't have the Gold palette, but I have swatched it in Sephora and it is the same formula). I wish she would bring it back. I should receive my ND Bronze palette tomorrow and I cannot wait to use it. I am fair-skinned and I passed on the Bronze face palette because I was not sure about it. I have enjoyed all ND eyeshadow palettes, which are quite a bit on my pocketbook, but I seriously wish I had returned when I had a chance to. I even rearranged the pans in the palette from mattes light-to-dark and metallics light-to-dark in Metropolis and posted the picture on my Instagram to show the similarities in the shadows. It was a total money grab for ND and that is not cool to mess with your customers in that way. I learned from your video that she changes the names of shadows, also not cool. I'm glad that Deep Dive is the only CP shadow in the bunch. The two purple shadows are the main reason I am interested in the palette. I plan to use Deep Dive with MAC Fix+. This is how I am using my CP shadows in Metropolis in order to get them to work. Thanks again for your hard work! 🙂
Tara, I just have to say that I REALLY love you and your sweet and directly honest personality! 🥰 I think you’re absolutely beautiful and enjoy your energy and spunk 🤍 Your makeup skills are on point too my girl! 👏🏼 I want to fix that camera of yours to focus properly on your lovely face 😑 it’s blurring you (especially your eyes 👀) and should be more crisp. So the eyeshadow palette -- I’m not falling over this thing like everyone else on YT. It’s not bronze as much as copper 🤔 I ordered this after seeing IG photoshopped pics (I should’ve known better) and it appeared to be more cool toned than it actually is. I wasn’t looking for a warm toned palette so we shall see if I end up keeping it once it arrives. I have the mini Nude and the Gold palette and I don’t know that this is anything very unique considering I own those and many more. I’m glad to see you compare the Artist Couturier eyeshadow palette because that one I want ☝🏼and have been waiting for it to be restocked in Sephora Canada. I dunno 🤷♀️ I feel like the eyeshadow palette needs a dark chocolate brown matte, a light beige/champagne matte & shimmer shade to complete it. I know you mentioned the light shimmer and you’re the first person I’ve heard on YT actually make that observation. We shouldn’t have to use actual highlighters for the inner corner. I think that cream/powder dark brown shade may work well as a liner but I’m also not the biggest fan of that formula either, like you said. That face palette is not appealing whatsoever to me, and I love my cream products so I’m not averse to creams. The shades are so not related with the super light cream shades and then the dark powder shades-it’s like 2 completely different skin tones were targeted. Hard pass Natasha. I’m not thrilled with this “bronze” collection overall, but thank you so much for the time you took to do this review and the comparisons!! 🙏🏼 You are awesome and I like that you are not biased but really think about everything thoroughly. 💝

I love how everyone is giving it all a massive positive review in hopes of getting re-tweeted / re-shared by Natasha Denona social media accounts. While you're honest. Literarily what we need the most right now in the beauty industry so thank you. Had to stop watching half way through to comment my praises. The 2nd eye look you created with the shade Rhodium was goorgeous ! I actually think the pigmentation looked really beautiful as it was a softer look than the other side. I feel its more 'work friendly' and really compliments your eyes. Sometimes a shade can come off too dark to the point where you cant see its true colour and it begins to look black- especially for me as I have fair skin. Anyways beautiful looks you created and will be picking up this bronzey fellow up! xx
Mariah Leonard did such a pretty look with those 2 shades - Rhodium and the dark one next to it. I have the palette but am too lazy to go check the shade name. Anyway, TaraLynn, check Mariah's look. I think you'll really like it. It looks to me like a great way to use those 2 shades.

I can’t remember if I commented on here or if it was in my head lol so, I’ll do it (again?). I ended up getting the eyeshadow palette! I waited like one day, then realized that I wanted it lol. I think it will look good on my skin tone, hopefully. I don’t have any of the larger palettes, but have gotten the $65 ones. And I don’t have any of the face palettes because they haven’t really caught my attention. Thanks for such a thorough review! ❤️💋
I got my eye palette yesterday! When she launches a product, it excites me🥰 I passed on the cheek palette because i didn’t like the color story: her Tan palette from last year is what i would use with this Bronze eye palette..👍🏻 Your eye look #2 is what i like the MOST💯💯💯(your least fav) Its funny i disliked PM color sextraterrestial -the color everyone raved about most....

I love that you continue to stretch yourself and used the crean to powder formula purple colors. Thank you! I rush there where more bronze colors in there.. darker bronze and a lighter inner corner highlight color. It’s a gorgeous palette but I’m a liiiittle disappointed. I’m not sure if I’ll still get it. It is SO similar to the metropolis palette!!
It really is, and no need for both if you love the Metropolis Palette. Good for those of us who wanted that Palette to work but it didn't, but bad for those who love it. And truthfully they're are more people who love it than not❤❤❤ Thanks is for watching. As always, love you girl💋
Tara Lynn I always know to wait for your reviews because we have similar tastes. Everything I have gotten after you have loved it ends up being my faves (kkw palette and tarte creaseless concealer... and so so so many more) I love you!!
This palette was a great purchase for me bc I only have the gold palette, star palette, sunrise, mini nude, and mini retro so not to many of her palettes. I want natural palettes boring ppl say which sunrise was out of my comfort zone lmbo. I wanted the Metropolis palette but was scared about the formula. This is as natural as it gets right now from ND. I've noticed she loves her red, yellow, orange, and mustard shades, everything has that in the base but these r not to bad leaning that way. Ih and she loves her coppery gold also. I don't know if that makes sense or not.
Thank you Tara, I was just waiting for your review because I know you do not always love ND products so was very curious to hear your opinion. I actually own and really like Metropolis however I do think she could have made it smaller and still achieved the same range of looks. Anyway, my bronze eyeshadow palette has not arrived yet so I am curious to see how I I can also use it in combination with metropolis or Biba. I did not buy the face palette, I felt my skin tone was too light and so far I have seen it performing beautifully only on medium -dark skin tones, I was hoping you could have fit into the range but now I after your review, I really think you need to be pretty dark to use it and enjoy it. Anyway, loved the review, your first look was incredibly beautiful. Thank you for your hard work and your honesty.
I just got mine and I’m so excited. 😁I don’t have any of her big pallets. Didn’t care for them and too expensive...even though her shadows are huge so probably not expansive if compare them to other brands. I Just have sunrise, love and this one. I like this sizes. This face palette is not for me for sure.

Hello Tara Lynn. I was wondering if you are able to pop out the shadows from the Metropolis palette like you can in the bronze palette? Then maybe you could replace that dark shadow formula you don't like and add one from the Metropolis palette that you do like in it's place. I pre ordered my palette and received it about 10 hours ago. I have swatched mine and tried one fast look just using two shades. It is pretty for sure but I need more time to pull out my brushes and play! I really appreciate you already putting up a video with three looks!!! I am excited to try them all. I didn't buy the face palette and I am glad I passed on it. I didn't get any glosses either as I ordered a couple from the Fenty launch but they won't be here for another week. I keep saying I have enough makeup to last five lifetimes and I don't need any more but then something comes out that I just need to try! Oh well I justify all my makeup purchases by saying I never really used much makeup at all the first 50 years of my life and now the last 10 years I am just making up for what I didn't buy all my life. My husband would call that "lady math". Any how just wanted to say I truly enjoy your channel so very much and I hope you don't ever get tired of making these videos!
Hi there :) All of ND palettes have magnetic removable pans. The only thing is, pan sizes vary between her palettes. I own Gold and Metropolis, and the Gold is definitely bigger pans. However I don't know how Metropolis compares to these medium sized palettes (bronze/love etc)
gorgeous as always!!! I had the same experience I did not like the face palette at all the highlighter looked pink on me the duo chrome and the "blush" was orangy brown weird color the highlight in the bottom was too dark and the other shade was pointless. I did like the eyeshadow palette though :)
Tara, I’m 42. I have problems with many foundations because I have large pores on my cheeks and on my nose. I use all sorts of primer, do you recommend anything? I’ve used Tacha, wet n wild, Lancôme....many many brands.

The Closest Natasha Denona pallet which comes close to this Bronze pallet is the METROPOLIS PALLET!! (You may Not have but I just wanted to let you know this If anyone should ask you.) The shades come close But there NOT A EXACT MATCH, Just kinda fall inline of the story shade range!
So, you didn’t ask the community, but I thought I’d chime in since I have Biba and LOVE it. The reason I decided not to purchase this one is because it doesn’t have enough lighter (or even one browbone) shade for my skin tone. If you’re looking for an all in one, I think Biba is a better choice but obviously this is beautiful. I also feel like if I’m thinking about the palettes and singles I have in my collection, I have a lot of bronze, gold and copper shimmers. For what it’s worth:).
Oh, also the Biba is the $129 priced palette and this bronze palette is the cheaper one with smaller pans - $65. So that alone could help make your decision.

After I bought it and reviewed it, I used it 1 time within that 60 day period and I thought hmmm... why am I keeping this if I'm not using it. (At that price) But, I think Mel Thompson will surely compare the Biba and this Palette. Also, Alicia from Kinky Sweat uploaded her video and she compared and swatched it next to the Biba. I would definitely check out her video❤

I think we all need to change our mentality about one thing been able to fit all skin tones, of course it wont fit all skin tones..never, what companies need to do is having options for different skin tones
Absolutely... when they claim it will work for all skin tones, assume not all shades, maybe 1. And they get by with it because if only 1 shade will work for each tone then they are covered 🤦♀️ Couldn't agree with you more💗

Also, I didn't have the best experience with this face Palette. I never watch reviews of anything I'm reviewing before I try it myself. After filming, I watched a few other reviews on this face Palette and most seem to have a great experience with it. I'm just not a fan of holographic shades on my cheeks, and I didn't use that blush shade as blush truthfully because I didn't think it would show up on my skin. I watched Alecia from Kinky Sweat, and she was able to build that shade on her skin tone and she's a little darker than me. So, it's definitely buildable and doable. It's just not for me. If you love those really glowy looks, I think you'll enjoy it. If not, I wouldn't recommend it ❤ Specially if you have texture on your cheeks. I noticed in other reviews it emphasized texture, so be mindful of that. Some don't mind texture being emphasized. Its definitely subjective 😁❤
That's why UA-cam reviews are so helpful. We all like different things and what works for some, don't work for others. But it's nice to know everything, good and bad before spending $55 on something. And, for me, spending $55 on a face Palette I want to LOOOOOVE it in order to feel good about it. And this Palette just didn't give me that.
About the holographic shade almost hitting pan, that could be just my Palette only. Haven't heard anyone mention it yet, I wasn't pushing hard, but i was swirling my finger around trying to feel the texture, so maybe that caused it. Not sure. I am curious to hear if it happens to anyone else..💋

The bronze face palette isn’t for me...I’ve watched 3 reviews on this release before yours...kinkysweat as well. Lover her. I don’t think there is enough pigment for blush so it’s 4 highlight shades. I am soo into her bronze eye palette though. Damn!
I didn’t pick it either, seems too dark for me and I truly love my Tan face palette!

One thing I wanted to add about that cream-to-matte formula...I’ve noticed what I think the dichotomy is...age. Those who are younger (for the most part) seem to really enjoy the formula and have no difficulties blending it. However, those who are a bit older & have more mature, dry skin, seem to not care for it as much. From my own personal experience, I noticed that, depending on how much the skin moves really relates in how the formula blends. As an example, I used the formula to create a look on my daughter-in-law, who is 23. I had absolutely no problem blending the formula on her eyelids and thought, I need to try this again, maybe I was wrong. Nope. I used the EXACT same shades, duplicated the look on my eyes and it was NOT the same. Not even close. Whereas the formula applied and blended beautifully smooth across her lids, on mine, I noticed that it skipped, the formula (and pigment) skipping the folds of my eyes and building heavier on the ridge of the folds (wrinkles). Even closing my eye completely, the formula continued to catch on my wrinkles and ended up looking patchy, as a result.
I guess I should say it more has to do with how smooth your eyelids are, as opposed to age, specifically; even though as we age, we get more wrinkles. If you have smooth eyelids, I think you’ll find the formula performs beautifully. If your eyelids are like mine (hooded, wrinkles and dry), I think you might have a little more challenge. I noticed that the key is working very minimally (as you did), blending and building gradually. If you try and go in heavy, as I’ve seen many of the younger youtubers do, nightmare mess. Just thought I would mention that, as it’s been my experience working with that formula since she first introduced it...and I’ve tried all kinds of ways - different brushes, primers, no primers, powder, bare skin, etc. - and still, I’ve had difficulty.

Hi Tara. Using the green coloured beauty blender is perfect for picking up the creams in the cheek palette. I hated the green beauty blender for foundation( horrible) but now I found a great use for it. I used brushes and the original beauty blender but nothing worked like the green one. Just a small tip for whoever is interested. Oh and try applying the cream glow over the glow bronze. Gives an amazing colour to the cheeks. I don’t like pink on my face but with the technique I used it looked amazing . ALOT of compliments .💕
All the looks looked great on you Tara. The last look you did reminded me of my ND Gold palette. I was going to pull the trigger on this new eyeshadow palette, but now idk. I love ND eyeshadow formulas, but I have Gold, Sunrise, & mini Nude. I’m passing on the face palette though I skipped the Metropolis, too overwhelming. I have SNatural by Scott Barnes too. So, this might be similar to the ND Bronze.

I had mixed feelings about the face palette at first but the more I use it, the more I like it! The bronze shade in the lower left is a no-go for me for anything other than an eyeshadow. The cream products feel a little dry to the touch but they definitely show up with a dense brush or sponge. The highlighter cream has a pink shift so that could be a deal breaker for some people. The cream blush is really unique. It’s really subtle but I can definitely see it on my skin (MAC NC20). Overall the palette makes for a nice summer glow but I don’t think it’s a must have.

Absolutely loved your eye looks. And I didn’t buy the face palette because I saw Cate the Great’s review and it just seemed the wrong shades for my fair skin. I’ve been thinking about getting the tan since I’ve seen a lot of the reviews. And I totally agree about the mattes... they blended beautifully on the eye.

Honest, fantastic review! 💗💗I didn't buy the Metropolis palette, and Sunset is not my favorite (I decluttered it), but this! It's neutral & that's why I love it so much😍🤩 I ordered the palette & 1 lip gloss (the caramel shade). These are shades I adore & really make my eyes pop.

I have the face palette. Used it yesterday and was able to use all 4 shades on my light shin tone. I actually think it's my favorite of all 4 of her face palettes.

This is why I subscribed to you!!! I love your critical reviews of otherwise very hyped products. I have the Biba and Gold, mini nude eyeshdow palettes, as well as the Tan face palette and I love them. That is saving me a lot of $$$. I withheld buying the Metropolis after watching your review, and have no regrets about not purchasing it either, not because of the formula, but because of the similarity of colors within the palette itself.

YES, totally agree. I was hoping for a mini retro vibe for her new Palette. But, I guess we got the Bronze. Lol. Of course i am happy because I have the Metropolis and don't use it often and this Palette is great to replace that. But, I still would have loved a larger version of mini retro😁💋

I’m really liking these looks on you! I have the palettes too. I commented on Morgan Turner’s video how I got the face palette to work for me and I’m much lighter than Morgan even! Is it my favorite ever?? Maybe not. But that doesn’t mean it’s not pretty when on your skin. And I get that you think it’s odd shades for a bronze collection but I challenge that belief; just because a collection is centered around bronze, does not mean everything has to indeed BE bronze. I think the key is that the colors compliment a bronze look. It’s nice because I feel the lighter shades will work for more fair skin tones & the bronze shade & more bronze glow powder will look delicious on deeper skin tones!! 😘😘

I really want the artist couture palette as I love the variety of neutral tones, so I wanted someone to compare those and I'm glad you did! I don't mind the slight overlap there. However, I have the Metropolis palette so it seems redundant to get the bronze if 11 of the 15 shades can be replicated! Doesn't stop me wanting it though 😖😖
I totally understand.. it's definitely a tough call and I think too back to back launches of the same shades. But, I was hoping for a larger version of the mini retro. That would have been so dang fun🙌❤

I love the color story of this eyeshadow palette, so eventually, I do plan on purchasing it. I knew that I would not get the cheek palette though because I rarely used the previous one. I also have textured skin so I avoid any product that would emphasize it. You always give such thorough, thoughtful, and honest reviews. I have grown to hate my Metropolis palette and regret the $129 I spent on it. It is my first ND purchase that I'm truly unhappy with. Yet, all these UA-camrs rave about Metropolis and I'm thinking, what are they talking about? It is a horrible palette because of the cream-to-powder formula and too many similar shades. I wish ND would stop being so inconsistent with her formulas. Her best eyeshadow formula, IMHO, is the one in Lila and Sunset (I don't have the Gold palette, but I have swatched it in Sephora and it is the same formula). I wish she would bring it back. I should receive my ND Bronze palette tomorrow and I cannot wait to use it. I am fair-skinned and I passed on the Bronze face palette because I was not sure about it. I'm so glad you came up on my feed and thank you for an honest review.

I have enjoyed all ND eyeshadow palettes, which are quite a bit on my pocketbook, but I seriously wish I had returned when I had a chance to. I even rearranged the pans in the palette from mattes light-to-dark and metallics light-to-dark in Metropolis and posted the picture on my Instagram to show the similarities in the shadows. It was a total money grab for ND and that is not cool to mess with your customers in that way. I learned from your video that she changes the names of shadows, also not cool. I'm glad that Deep Dive is the only CP shadow in the bunch. The two purple shadows are the main reason I am interested in the palette. I plan to use Deep Dive with MAC Fix+. This is how I am using my CP shadows in Metropolis in order to get them to work. Thanks again for your hard work! 🙂

I want to fix that camera of yours to focus properly on your lovely face 😑 it’s blurring you (especially your eyes 👀) and should be more crisp.
So the eyeshadow palette -- I’m not falling over this thing like everyone else on YT. It’s not bronze as much as copper 🤔 I ordered this after seeing IG photoshopped pics (I should’ve known better) and it appeared to be more cool toned than it actually is. I wasn’t looking for a warm toned palette so we shall see if I end up keeping it once it arrives. I have the mini Nude and the Gold palette and I don’t know that this is anything very unique considering I own those and many more.
I’m glad to see you compare the Artist Couturier eyeshadow palette because that one I want ☝🏼and have been waiting for it to be restocked in Sephora Canada.
I dunno 🤷♀️ I feel like the eyeshadow palette needs a dark chocolate brown matte, a light beige/champagne matte & shimmer shade to complete it. I know you mentioned the light shimmer and you’re the first person I’ve heard on YT actually make that observation. We shouldn’t have to use actual highlighters for the inner corner. I think that cream/powder dark brown shade may work well as a liner but I’m also not the biggest fan of that formula either, like you said.
That face palette is not appealing whatsoever to me, and I love my cream products so I’m not averse to creams. The shades are so not related with the super light cream shades and then the dark powder shades-it’s like 2 completely different skin tones were targeted. Hard pass Natasha.

It's just as helpful, only difference is I'm behind a camera (guess I really need to figure out why it's not focusing on my face as much as it should🙈thanks for that tip). But, I appreciate you taking the time to explain your thoughts on everything and that face Palette seems to be working for many. I’m so glad I skipped the face palette. I LOVEEE the eyeshadow palette though I used it today and adored it!! Glad I went on my instinct and skipped the face palette. I too don’t like holographic shades on my cheeks either. I don’t even use the one from PM Divine I on my eyes, let alone my face. Ty for the review Tara! 💋💗

I got both palettes today!!! The delivery date changed to tomorrow but it arrived today lol im so excited cause im off work today and really wanted to play with it before going back to work!! Had to stop watching half way through to comment my praises. The 2nd eye look you created with the shade Rhodium was goorgeous ! I actually think the pigmentation looked really beautiful as it was a softer look than the other side. I feel its more 'work friendly' and really compliments your eyes. Sometimes a shade can come off too dark to the point where you cant see its true colour and it begins to look black- especially for me as I have fair skin. Anyways beautiful looks you created and will be picking up this bronzey fellow up! xx
Mariah Leonard did such a pretty look with those 2 shades - Rhodium and the dark one next to it. I have the palette but am too lazy to go check the shade name. Anyway, TaraLynn, check Mariah's look. I think you'll really like it. It looks to me like a great way to use those 2 shades.

I can’t remember if I commented on here or if it was in my head lol so, I’ll do it (again?). I ended up getting the eyeshadow palette! I waited like one day, then realized that I wanted it lol. I think it will look good on my skin tone, hopefully. I don’t have any of the larger palettes, but have gotten the $65 ones. And I don’t have any of the face palettes because they haven’t really caught my attention. Thanks for such a thorough review! ❤️💋

I love that you continue to stretch yourself and used the crean to powder formula purple colors. Thank you! I rush there where more bronze colors in there.. darker bronze and a lighter inner corner highlight color. It’s a gorgeous palette but I’m a liiiittle disappointed. I’m not sure if I’ll still get it. This palette was a great purchase for me bc I only have the gold palette, star palette, sunrise, mini nude, and mini retro so not to many of her palettes. I want natural palettes boring ppl say which sunrise was out of my comfort zone lmbo. I wanted the Metropolis palette but was scared about the formula. This is as natural as it gets right now from ND. I've noticed she loves her red, yellow, orange, and mustard shades, everything has that in the base but these r not to bad leaning that way. Ih and she loves her coppery gold also. I don't know if that makes sense or not.

Thank you Tara, I was just waiting for your review because I know you do not always love ND products so was very curious to hear your opinion. I actually own and really like Metropolis however I do think she could have made it smaller and still achieved the same range of looks. Anyway, my bronze eyeshadow palette has not arrived yet so I am curious to see how I I can also use it in combination with metropolis or Biba. I did not buy the face palette, I felt my skin tone was too light and so far I have seen it performing beautifully only on medium -dark skin tones, I was hoping you could have fit into the range but now I after your review, I really think you need to be pretty dark to use it and enjoy it. Anyway, loved the review, your first look was incredibly beautiful. Thank you for your hard work and your honesty.

I just got mine and I’m so excited. 😁I don’t have any of her big pallets. Didn’t care for them and too expensive...even though her shadows are huge so probably not expansive if compare them to other brands. I Just have sunrise, love and this one. I like this sizes. This face palette is not for me for sure.

Hello Tara Lynn. I was wondering if you are able to pop out the shadows from the Metropolis palette like you can in the bronze palette? Then maybe you could replace that dark shadow formula you don't like and add one from the Metropolis palette that you do like in it's place. I pre ordered my palette and received it about 10 hours ago. I have swatched mine and tried one fast look just using two shades. It is pretty for sure but I need more time to pull out my brushes and play! I really appreciate you already putting up a video with three looks!!! I am excited to try them all. I didn't buy the face palette and I am glad I passed on it. I didn't get any glosses either as I ordered a couple from the Fenty launch but they won't be here for another week. I keep saying I have enough makeup to last five lifetimes and I don't need any more but then something comes out that I just need to try! Oh well I justify all my makeup purchases by saying I never really used much makeup at all the first 50 years of my life and now the last 10 years I am just making up for what I didn't buy all my life. My husband would call that "lady math". Any how just wanted to say I truly enjoy your channel so very much and I hope you don't ever get tired of making these videos!
Hi there :) All of ND palettes have magnetic removable pans. The only thing is, pan sizes vary between her palettes. I own Gold and Metropolis, and the Gold is definitely bigger pans. However I don't know how Metropolis compares to these medium sized palettes (bronze/love etc)

gorgeous as always!!! I had the same experience I did not like the face palette at all the highlighter looked pink on me the duo chrome and the "blush" was orangy brown weird color the highlight in the bottom was too dark and the other shade was pointless. I did like the eyeshadow palette though :)

Tara, I’m 42. I have problems with many foundations because I have large pores on my cheeks and on my nose. I use all sorts of primer, do you recommend anything? I’ve used Tacha, wet n wild, Lancôme....many many brands.

The Closest Natasha Denona pallet which comes close to this Bronze pallet is the METROPOLIS PALLET!! (You may Not have but I just wanted to let you know this If anyone should ask you.) The shades come close But there NOT A EXACT MATCH, Just kinda fall inline of the story shade range!

So, you didn’t ask the community, but I thought I’d chime in since I have Biba and LOVE it. The reason I decided not to purchase this one is because it doesn’t have enough lighter (or even one browbone) shade for my skin tone. If you’re looking for an all in one, I think Biba is a better choice but obviously this is beautiful. I also feel like if I’m thinking about the palettes and singles I have in my collection, I have a lot of bronze, gold and copper shimmers. For what it’s worth:).
Oh, also the Biba is the $129 priced palette and this bronze palette is the cheaper one with smaller pans - $65. So that alone could help make your decision.

After I bought it and reviewed it, I used it 1 time within that 60 day period and I thought hmmm... why am I keeping this if I'm not using it. (At that price) But, I think Mel Thompson will surely compare the Biba and this Palette. Also, Alicia from Kinky Sweat uploaded her video and she compared and swatched it next to the Biba. I would definitely check out her video❤
