I'm not so sure Goku actually _hated_ Frieza, despite all the trouble he caused. If anything, I know Goku actually respected Frieza in regards to his fighting skill, but said it was a waste of his talent to hurt & oppress others. I can understand Goku hating Frieza after he killed Krillin & went Super Saiyan. But also, don't forget that after Frieza was defeated by his own attack, Goku showed mercy (or pity) for him, enough to give him some of his energy to save himself, only to throw it back in his face. But after seeing both Resurrection of F & it's DBS equivalent, I really don't think Goku truly hates Frieza that much
I may have been thinking of Super/RoF when I made the post, but I didn't explicitly exclude Namek. Even if it wasn't _just_ killing Krillin, Frieza did threaten Gohan next. At that point I think Goku absolutely *_loathed_* the Emperor.
It's easy to forget now that a lot of villains, as well as Goku and Vegeta, can match him in strength, but Frieza was a truly *terrifying* god-like being when he first appeared. Nobody could even touch him. He was hundreds of leagues beyond the heroes and beat almost everyone multiple times without stopping to recover himself. Even Super Saiyan Goku had trouble and got overpowered a little during their fight, although he held back.
Frieza is one of if not the most evil villain in anime history hands down frieza is literally the embodiment of sadism,malice,cruelty and tyranny but he is also one of those villains you just love to hate.
Deirvin Davis he did it to Jiren as well. In 131 he started to literally mock him in his weakest point. ToP could've done so much wrong with him. They did him much better than I anticipated.
Frieza is on the contrary... a character you either love to hate or hate to love... but what's admirable about Frieza is that he will commit to what his goals are... no matter what he does in order to do that...

The soundtrack they used for this movie is the best I've ever heard. Everything adds to this idea of Frieza having some massive new plot on top of his power being beyond anything the z fighters could expect. Every second this character is on screen is such prime storytelling.

Considering the bad animation quality of Super, I'm willing to bet they have a small budget to work with or Toei Animation is a bunch of lazy idiots who don't care for the series as much as the fans do.
Animebryan2 I read somewhere (either on this video or another just like this) that the composer of this song is the same one that works on super. So it'd be weird that they couldn't just take these songs. I guess maybe they wanted to not have repetition or something? But this track and many of the other movie tracks are so good.
According to the Wikipedia page, 20th Century Fox also has distribution rights to the movie. It's possible they may have the rights to the soundtrack which could explain why it couldn't be used in the series.
This song also reminds me of that great scene in the ToP where he basically nearly kills one of the contestants, having that universe call foul, to which Lord Frieda replies, *oh he's alive for now, but its none of my concern if he DIES while out of bounds*

Legendary Super Saiyan wasn't really a form, it was just a title given to him because Broly was supposed to be one of the first few saiyans to ever go Super Saiyan & he just happened to be waaay stronger than even Goku or Vegeta. Even now, that title has been taken away from him through reconning from the 'Episode of Bardock' special, making Bardock the 'official' Legendary Super Saiyan now.

That form may either be SS2 (before the concept was finalized) or what was referred to in the Cell Saga as an 'Ascended Saiyan', which was like SS 1.5. It buffed up the user & gave them enormous power at the expense of speed & flexibility. The fact that he's buffed up from the SS1 form supports that idea. A well written villain is a person who has a goal in mind and has an ideology that counters the main character. But Frieza? He's the literal definition of evil. No need for a backstory and goals. He just kills/destroy for fun.
Odds are Frieza's form is unique to him. But yep, Frost has a lot more fighting experience than Frieza, though he's nowhere near as evil and ruthless. He's more like a dirty businessman than a tyrant. It makes one wonder if Frost will come to see just how evil Frieza is and decide to turn over a new leaf.
It's hard to say. Frieza at 100% after training was able to kind of go toe-to-toe with base Goku, but Frost managed that with his Assault Form. And Frost did it later in the series, so we assume Goku to be at least slightly stronger.
Final Form Frost in the U6 arc was more powerful than Final Form Frieza in the RoF arc. Base Goku was tied with RoF Frieza, but he needed SSJ against Final Form Frost (even if he was using 20% of his full power). Right now, since Frieza got about 10x stronger in Hell, it's possible he surpassed Frost. I'd say they should be in the same ballpark. Plus, only Frieza has an evolution at this point. Edit: I just read BloodSonicFlux's comment and I pretty much parroted what he said. Lol.
While I love the chanting as well the best part imo is the beginning 0:00-1:49, it gives off this eerie feeling of dread & anticipation. Almost like the characters are nervous & hesitant about fighting him.

When he transformed into his final form I was like "yeah so what...They fought guys like Buu and Beerus" and then you see Vegeta and Goku be like "Holy crap, what kind of training did he do?!" That Moment you realize Ressurrection F Final Form Frieza solos DBZ without turning gold xD

Let's do the math, shall we? Frieza, in 4 months, managed to become even stronger than Super Buu. In the manga, he trains in a time chamber for 10 years and becomes strong enough to knock out both Utra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta. Frieza was already ruling over an empire way before Goku was even born, and Goku was around 24 at the start of Z. Can you imagine just how OP Frieza would have been had he started to train from a young age? The Namek Saga would have been the end of the story.

I know this about Frieza. But given how Cell has Frieza DNA. Does that mean if Cell, both Survived and trained. Would he have achieved a Golden form of his own ?
I imagine so. Since he's actually stronger than Frieza & has more abilities and potential at his disposal (Saiyan DNA = Zenkai Boost, Namekian DNA = Regeneration), Cell could easily outdo anything Frieza is capable of. This not only includes his golden form but his next form (Black Frieza) as well.
Cell seems to primarily use Saiyan transformations, so I think it's more likely you'd get some extremely high-counting Super Saiyan equivalent. He fought Goku and Gohan in SSJ, and his Super Perfect form was SSJ2.

Considering the bad animation quality of Super, I'm willing to bet they have a small budget to work with or Toei Animation is a bunch of lazy idiots who don't care for the series as much as the fans do.
Animebryan2 I read somewhere (either on this video or another just like this) that the composer of this song is the same one that works on super. So it'd be weird that they couldn't just take these songs. I guess maybe they wanted to not have repetition or something? But this track and many of the other movie tracks are so good.
According to the Wikipedia page, 20th Century Fox also has distribution rights to the movie. It's possible they may have the rights to the soundtrack which could explain why it couldn't be used in the series.
This song also reminds me of that great scene in the ToP where he basically nearly kills one of the contestants, having that universe call foul, to which Lord Frieda replies, *oh he's alive for now, but its none of my concern if he DIES while out of bounds*

Legendary Super Saiyan wasn't really a form, it was just a title given to him because Broly was supposed to be one of the first few saiyans to ever go Super Saiyan & he just happened to be waaay stronger than even Goku or Vegeta. Even now, that title has been taken away from him through reconning from the 'Episode of Bardock' special, making Bardock the 'official' Legendary Super Saiyan now.

That form may either be SS2 (before the concept was finalized) or what was referred to in the Cell Saga as an 'Ascended Saiyan', which was like SS 1.5. It buffed up the user & gave them enormous power at the expense of speed & flexibility. The fact that he's buffed up from the SS1 form supports that idea. A well written villain is a person who has a goal in mind and has an ideology that counters the main character. But Frieza? He's the literal definition of evil. No need for a backstory and goals. He just kills/destroy for fun.

Frost has nothing on Frieza. He would laugh Frost to death.
Odds are Frieza's form is unique to him. But yep, Frost has a lot more fighting experience than Frieza, though he's nowhere near as evil and ruthless. He's more like a dirty businessman than a tyrant. It makes one wonder if Frost will come to see just how evil Frieza is and decide to turn over a new leaf.
It's hard to say. Frieza at 100% after training was able to kind of go toe-to-toe with base Goku, but Frost managed that with his Assault Form. And Frost did it later in the series, so we assume Goku to be at least slightly stronger.
Frost confirmed Trump?
Final Form Frost in the U6 arc was more powerful than Final Form Frieza in the RoF arc. Base Goku was tied with RoF Frieza, but he needed SSJ against Final Form Frost (even if he was using 20% of his full power). Right now, since Frieza got about 10x stronger in Hell, it's possible he surpassed Frost. I'd say they should be in the same ballpark.
Plus, only Frieza has an evolution at this point.

In the manga, he trains in a time chamber for 10 years and becomes strong enough to knock out both Utra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta.
Frieza was already ruling over an empire way before Goku was even born, and Goku was around 24 at the start of Z.
Can you imagine just how OP Frieza would have been had he started to train from a young age? The Namek Saga would have been the end of the story.

I know this about Frieza. But given how Cell has Frieza DNA. Does that mean if Cell, both Survived and trained. Would he have achieved a Golden form of his own ?
I imagine so. Since he's actually stronger than Frieza & has more abilities and potential at his disposal (Saiyan DNA = Zenkai Boost, Namekian DNA = Regeneration), Cell could easily outdo anything Frieza is capable of. This not only includes his golden form but his next form (Black Frieza) as well.
Cell seems to primarily use Saiyan transformations, so I think it's more likely you'd get some extremely high-counting Super Saiyan equivalent. He fought Goku and Gohan in SSJ, and his Super Perfect form was SSJ2.
I don't know if you know, but Freeza can change the shape of his body whenever he wants, he can make it golden or black.
