The N14 just has that sound that says”Get the hell out of my way!” There is nothing like that sound! It tells you that there is a mean ass truck coming through! Love that sound!
In my opinion all pre emmisioned cummins sound the best the L10 and M11 are one of the throatiest sounding and the 6bt and 6ct are the highest idling in my opinion but when they start revving up they sound all the same there wouldn't be much of a difference and the n14 is the one thats the most powerful stock
Rejected-From-Eve .Zero if we put custom built injectors in it it’ll be sittin at around 700 maybe 725 it’s been tuned, and it’s got a HX60mm turbo on it, but with an N14 it’s probably not a good idea to go more than 725
Not to be that guy, don’t get me wrong a Cummins n-14 is definitely a good engine, preferably cats are where it’s at for making big power numbers, it’s expensive to build them but they are a good starting block for big numbers
Fred Richards apparently with the “mechanical” injection I understand it can go above 800 could be wrong. The 855 big cam went up there. Of course 2400hp out of a CAT C18 well that is another world ruled by Bouchard.

Need to hit more than just stage 1 Jakes if your showing off for a UA-cam video.....if that's stage 2 or 3, something is wrong with the jakes. Dont straight pipe your truck if your scared of being to loud. Sounds good at an idle and driving tho.

Sounds a lot like the BC series, which sounded as good as anything ever will. I do love a 3406 don’t get me wrong, but the Cummins sound? Forget it
The early N14s sounded just like a big cam, but ours is a N14 Celect which still had a very similar sound to a 400 bc

N14 Celect Plus is a very decent Cummins but in my opinion, the best sounding and high performance Cummins is the Cummins Signature 600 series..... 😎
