I love this scene, it's just perfect, the father-daughter duo is just brilliant. And this is what bothers me the most about the series. Lucifer is so, so cool in every way that I can't understand or forgive the disastrous ending the writers gave him. The plot of Rory's time travel is very good but after we found out what happens in the future, I was hoping that the actions would lead to a happy ending with the whole family together. When one of the showrunners said that season six would be a "love letter to the fans and the show," I expected otherwise. Not that ending they gave us. Personally, I was very disappointed with the outcome of the series.
I actually think it was a perfect ending and I think a lot of people agree. When dealing with eternal celestial beings this is usually the best route. Yes he missed a lot but in the end he still gets to spend eternity with Chloe and Rory can visit any time since she is an Angel. In the end he gets to keep his family for eternity which is an option no one else gets. It is bittersweet to see that Chloe will never see him again until she dies but her death is the beginning of their happy ending.
I loved the ending... and the whole family does end up together. The writers made that clear... "I'm an angel remember mom. I'll see you soon" "It's a date" implying that Rory can visit her parents anytime she likes.
I understand your point. But in my opinion, it was the perfect ending. Some things have to be sacrificed for the greater good. Can’t even get enough of this show. I hope they do some spin offs
Terrible arrangement. I'm like, irrationally annoyed at the treatment on this song. By killing the suspended chord over the main lyric in the chorus it completely changes the tone of the song into this really confused happy thing.
We need this version on Spotify pls
wow they really have this on youtube hehe.
you know, that was needed
Doctor: You just have 1 h and 2 min left.

SLK do you think, you could do an 1-hour-version of the feeling-totally-fine-room?
Lucifer and Chloe inside the Panic Room?
@@slk468 exaclty. i just refuse to call it the panic room. i'd rather go with chloe's naming.
An amazing song and singers! And it means even more if you watched the end of Lucifer. Didn't like the ending much, but this song sure fits!
