You made a great choice as regards course and school, Salford is located in a really great location and payment plan is really convenient. Honestly, like you I had my eyes set on Msc Medical Microbiology, even though I'm a Chempath major and Micro minor because in my school you would pick a major and a minor. The plan had always been to get the best of both worlds😂 as it was really a difficult Choice letting go of Micro. But after much thinking I'm sticking with MSc Biomedical Science, it really felt like I was limiting myself. Thanks for this video, it was really informative.
Thank God, you are doing what you ❤️ want and what you like doing. The sky is your limit my darling daughter.. May the Lord Almighty continue to be with you.
Hello alice i just came across your video and it s exactly what i was looking for, im a physician with no lab experience, will i learn lab skills during this master program?
Thank you very much for this information, but please I am still a little bit confused on the pathway of a bio medical scientist after masters, 1) Do I need to write any professional body exam before I can start working as a bio medical scientist in the uk after my masters 2) what is the job rate in uk 3) is it a course you will advice someone who studied microbiology as their bsc degree to study I will be really grateful if you can answer them….thank you so much as I await your reply 🙏🏽
Hi 👋 Adaora, 1) There are requirements for you to be ibms or hcpc registered as a biomedical scientist and having a master's degree is not one of them. I Would make findings on the exact requirements and get back to you or better still make a video on it. 2) What do you mean by Job rate? Of it's job opportunities for Biomedical science, it's not easy neither is it hard perhaps more competitive at the moment but i think it's stilll highly individual and location based. 3) If you want it, why not. It's a good course.
Hello Alice, Thank you for the video, I love it and also found your comment section very interactive. I just stumbled on your channel today. Do you hide it from us? 😄
I love you video💞, and a new subscriber interested in going for MSc biomedical Science. As a Biochemistry graduate from Nigeria, hw does one get HCPC to b able to practice as a biomedical scientist after graduation. I hear graduating as from Msc biomedical science doesn't give u automatic membership.
Nice video Is it possible for someone who did bachelor in plant science and biotechnology in Nigeria to do Msc in Biomedical science or clinical biochemistry?
Lovely content 👍👍👍 Do you have your HCPC registration ? Biomedical Science has really advanced like you mentioned in this video. I am glad I made the choice of coming to work as a BMS in the UK. I came in about 2 months ago. I wish you the best in your Msc👍👍👍
I would not say it’s impossible but it’s rare Because to work as a BMS you need to be able to work full time and a student visa has certain work hours limitation that might not allow this.
After studying microbiology in Nigeria do you get qualified to work in the NHS if you get your Biomed Msc from a school in the UK that’s IBMS accredited?
There are additional qualification or things you would need to do before you can be licensed with HCPC to work as a biomedical scientist . So for someone who studied microbiology studying MSc Biomedical science alone does not give you the opportunity to work as a BMS with NHS.

Thank you ma’am finally a page for medical laboratory science and thank you for also making it general as well so other dept too can watch and learn
👍👍
One of the reasons I started my channel.
There are few channels out there for MLS/BMS.
I recently moved to the UK as a BMS, I work with the NHS.

Hi can I do masters in biomedical science after Bachelors in physics
Yes you can
hiii heloo ❤ .Do i need ibms accredited masters in uk ? I studied in india (bsc)
Your question isn’t clear .
It depends on what you are talking about? Is an IBMS accredited masters a requirement?
