Bruce Wayne *decides to be Batman again at the age of 55*
Alfred : I'm still the prime beneficiary in your will, aren't I?
wait... he was supposed to only be 55 in this? i kinda thought he was starting to push 70 the way they depicted him.
You have to remember his body is damaged and tired after all the years of fighting crime and receiving beatings from his enemies.
Muay Thai fighters usually retire at around 30 years old after such brutal matches. Batman in his 50’s is generous compared to what he’s done every night.
Younger people have looked older, it can be partially attributed to genes, but it mostly lies upon how you treat your body. Substance abuse as an example can REALLY make you look like you aged 30 years.
That's in beyond
Actually, Miller conceived him as 50 in this.
You've got to love Batman for doing what's right and dislike Superman for being a lackey of the regime.
I often think Bruce would say to Clarc how the mighty have fallen. That's why Batman rises again. He doesn't just do what people want or try to be a hero. He does what's rite and what people need not just what they want. Superman has had his shere of governmental clashes but He's a bit too much of a good guy to truly be do what is realy needed sometimes.
Superman's always been a puppet of the status quo. Hes literally a God and does nothing.
Batman is a big city captain of industry genius problem solver who only wants meaningful things for his city after witnessing his parents death.. Superman is just a small town midwest guy.. And that's why Superman will never be as interesting as Batman..
@@lokithor83 idk, i still think smallville superman is on par with batman but all the other versions of superman can piste off
@@0Heeroyuy01 i never watched smallville.. But ironically, i think superman is most interesting as a villain..
“I want you to remember, Clark. In all the years to come, in your most private moments, I want you to remember, my hand, at your throat, I want you to remember, the one man who beat you.”
This is the most badass speech from Bruce...
This old Bruce Wayne is like a monster gorilla Batman.🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is year one Batman universe
@@Davethegoat19 maybe
Ben Aflect’s Batman… I like to see the live action
@@bonvoyage1700 Is a good actor and his greatest role but is not such a fighter.
@@lenart5417Ben Affleck’s Batman has the greatest fight scenes in cinema to date
"The mutant leader revealed himself to be a mutant"
How hasn't Marvel suit them for copyright already 😂
Mega Human that's the answer
I actually didn't thought about it😮
As mutants are apt to do.....
Shocker!😂
Turns out the Mutant leader was a Mutant himself. Huge plot twist.
Edit: Sorry for spoilers
Funnily enough he's not actually a mutant in the comics or anywhere he's just this stupidly strong weird looking guy LMAO
@@tommyh-dk2cq It seems reasonable that he is genetically created monster as some type of super soldier.
@@matthewhecht9257 It probably should be that but the frank miller comics seem to be terribly inconsistent and have many plotholes. In many novels the mutant leader is described as a buff Human thug with a disfigured face but his body proportions are incredibly exaggerated even for comics
@@tommyh-dk2cq People not seem to catch it. When the comet came out I was a teenager and I didn't realize that what I was looking at was the mythical story of Batman as an arc. As such Frank Miller predicted the need for Bane before the character ever existed. That's who your mutant leader should be and basically who he is just in an unfinished form
Well im 50 in 30 days(GenX) & i still skate.
I Don't ollie down stairs anymore
but i still skate mini ramp & the funbox/manny-Curb.
I have yet to feel held back by age.
~I thought of this when 55 year old Batman had to climb up that rope the 1st time
in 10 years..
Alfred is still taking care of batman, truly the goat of all
If bruce is 55, then alfred must be at least 120
Green arrow was most badass in the dualogy
that jawline tho
I find it funny Alfred's always immortal
Dudes a vampire
Nah, Nanomachines, Son (sorry, couldn't resist)
Batman beyond with Keaton as old Bruce would be awesome
Superman didnt defeat Batmab in that movie it was the exact opposite he defeated Superman and even told him to remember the one man that beat him before getting an heart attack
Yes but he needed green arrows help 1 armed or not
@@deadend1041 I know but it was all in Batmans planing and thats why Batman nearly always defeats superman
@deadend1041 this wasn't the first time batman humbled superman he's done it a handful of times
and he also went easy on supes. with a different ratio he could have killed supes, but decided to be kind and just humble superman
honestly, both side holding back. @@Shearper2
The mutant leader revealed himself to be a mutant. I did NOT see that one coming.
The moral of the movie is not what you said but what you become. Batman broke the mutant leader and now they follow him
"The meeting turned into a trap. The *mutant leader* revealed himself to be a *mutant* "
Gave me a really good laugh! Come on, man!
Jesussss.... When we were kids 55-year-olds made sense characterized like that... Nowadays it's like: "dude... If Tom Cruise can do action movies and Jackie Chan can kick your ass, that's not what a 55-year-old batman should look like..." 😥
Answer: dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Stephanie brown, Damien Wayne, Carrie Kelly. (A crime fighter, a sidekick.)
Question: who is "Robin."?
Essentially the Dark Knight scenario, as told in the 1980’s
It's the cartoon adaptation of those graphic novels. I'm surprised more people haven't caught on to the idea that the mutant leader was a stand in for bane because a character like that was needed in Batman's mythos but did not yet exist
Shit on a stick. You surely realize The Dark Knight Returns original novels popularity was the catalyst for Burtons Batman being made and the inspiration for some of the Dark Knight. This is the OG that inspired not the other way around.
@jason: Oh, schyte on a dick, mea CULPA, mea CULPA, mea CULPA. I humbly BEG your forgiveness.
Please tell me his to REDEEM myself. As I cannot live with the SHAME that your piercing gaze has clearly laid my entire perception of this utter BARE upon the unforgiving ground.
What scares me is knowing this implicitly sets up Act 1 of "Batman Beyond:Rebirth"
Is this voice AI? The bat moble, badman, etc
Rip alfred he is the only good person who died☠️
That one thing that bothers me superman the man of steel is the governments lacky. doesn’t he have his own villains in metropolis to deal with
Robin in this one is a small tomboyish girl with no training and somehow she jumps around doing flips and beating guys 10 times her size.
This is literally just ‘the dark knight returns’ … a graphic novel that’s been around since 1986.
"Where ars you? I'm not finished yet. And you're not finished with me. You're never finished with me."
Alfred..died to a stroke...
Batman is bout to go batsh*t insane💀
"Battmin" lol rifftrax returns!
0:25
Batman be looking a lot like his father
I love the AI voice interpreting BatMan as if it was his last name "Batmin"
They way they done the animated movie the Dark Knight returns was way above awesome probably my favourite besides under the redhood
Lore of At 55 Years Old, Bruce Wayne Chose to Reclaim His Mantle as the Dark Knight momentum 100
Im 55 and still could pass a boot camp.
Do not think in another 5 years I could.

Keep working out. Never let go.
One of my favourite graphic novels. If I was a movie directed I'd do this page for page as a film.
No the moral of the story is that Batman is forever
What batman film is this?
They didnt fight in Corto Maltese they fought in Crime Alley where bruces parents died
Waller wasn't around to start Project Batman Beyond
There were several mistakes in the narration, errors in the plot and way, way too many uses of the word ‘meanwhile’. Consider rewriting and re-recording the v/o.
Best batman ever
Did you use chatgpt to write the script?
bruv. if batman was 55, alfred was 90+
It would be helpful to actually state the name of the movie you're review in the title.
What movie, what's the name?
thanks, this was not only a goood explanation for the animated serie, also manly for the comics (i read some times The Dark Knigth Returns and I didnt kepp some lines)
I thought he came back during his 60s and was retired for unknown reasons to not being the Batman anymore til alot of situations and circumstances and thieveries increases after no more the cape crusader to saving Gotham anymore til the decisions has to changed and come out of the shadows and save humanity from the wicked craziness sick common to new threats of people who harms not just the young people as young attractive women or girls but the elders too as IDK why old women are not so interesting yet they get in troubles than young women as before like I saw some of his movies but none told about his future of his elder age or 40s to current Batman Beyond era of is he still coming back no matter who what when where why and sometimes how many times it repeated his pains his burdens and the closest friends and family and others so dearest to him than anything else in the world has to be saved over and over and over endlessly til he's no more or his legacy is and will live on as legends
not all of the explanation was completely correct, but still a very good summary of the movie
Just like Brazil nowadays, except we don't have a Batman...
it also emphasizes that the government would rather have violence and crime rather than having civilians do their job better than them.
And this is why I favor free market over the government.
Now that was good writing. So many unexpected twists and turns. ❤👍
Nowhere in the video or description does it say the MOVIE NAME
What this sounds like is an easy way of getting UA-cam money, taking clips from a movie and using an AI voice to take control of algorithms.
This is the laziest form of content creation I have ever seen.
Show????
this must be before the events of Batman Beyond
This was a pretty good interpretation but it struck be as too bright and clean compared to the comic. Yes I know different mediums but they had it pretty close.
what movie is this?
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
This is actually a great movie. Is in HBO just in case
what is the name of the movie?
@@proxyblue1961 Same as the graphic novel. Is Batman The Dark Knight returns
The voice is AI, isn't it? Took me a while to realize.
Joker did not take his own life, that was a halucination by batman to protect his mind from the fact that he broke his code.
You didn't read the story, did you?
This movie goes so fucking hard
Cant believe alfred is still alive
Can't a 55yr-old Bruce take a dive in the Lazarous Pit and go back to being 25yrs old...?
there's one series/movie where batman did just that, but decide to againts using that again because he feel the risk is too big. the risk is the user will lose his sanity overtime and essentially become evil.
"The movie starts...."
What movie?
I don't even see the name of the movie anywhere?
"The movie starts", "In this animated movie", "This movie explores". How about you actually give the name of the movie. Even under your "Copyright Disclaimer :" there is no mention of the original content. Thumbs down. Won't be back.
what movie is this
They did Selena Kyle dirty in this...
Superman straight became a bully. Why did he take Green Arrows arm? This version of Supes sucks.
What a horrible horrible recounting of an unbelievably great movie and comic book! This story is so much better than this monotone telling! Just watch the movie, this retelling of this story is horrible compared to the excellent story telling in the actual movie!
Wow! How old must be Alfred than?
Which batman Animated movie is that one
The Dark Knight Returns. It’s based on the iconic graphic novel by Frank Miller.
Khalil as the Dark Knight
Superman is in this show? Why did Batman need to come out of retirement if Superman could have cleaned up Ghothem?
It gets into politics a little bit there. Superman was busy licking Ronald Reagan's boot while he was trying to start a nuclear war. The government had forced all of the masked heroes into retirement and put Superman under its thumb
bro alfred is immortal i swear
movie ?
Dark knight Returns
At 55 he looks 80+
How do you fake a heart attack 😮
Selena didnt age well😂
Movie name please
With all the stories and what gotham is like I would rather lived in a 3rd world country, be less lawless than what gotham is like.

Batman uses guns in this iteration?
News TV real 📺... 🥃🥴 Wayne. ⛈☁☁☁☁
What is the name of this? Just asking a question.
The movie and the graphic novel are called The Dark Knight Returns (alternatively titled Batman: The Dark Knight Returns)
12:46 - 13:03
What movie is this one
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns part 1&2
So, Gotham PD is basically responsible for all the deaths in the studio the Joker attended just because through some leap in logic, didn't perceive him as a real threat. Just further proves that Gotham has no justice system, just incompetent mall cop grade security that couldn't find their way out of a cereal box without Batman.
right, like seriously, its joker. the man is known to kill thousand or even million of people, aint no way they just let him in public without guard.
Thank you so much. I’m so glad that I haven’t watched the movie and watch this instead.
😂
superman didnt really defeat batman in this if anything he outright lost
I'm Batman
أنا عربي و اللغة عربي راقم واحد
In Dark Knight I Wasnt 55 Years Old He Way Way Older More Like 65.70
Maybe facially, but look at his physique
Once again we see how weak superman is.
Not only once. but he got owned twice by Batman.
This is such lazy content. Just watch the movie
Why would they allow gorden to retire since the major was stupid enligh to get himself killed
