Thanks for the comment. The way that I've fought with the latest build- having everything on 3.5mm bullets and non soldered connections - has reduced the swearing (slightly!). Happy flying!
Impossible to answer without knowing a lot more. See the videos about power, thrust and motors in the 'Introduction to Remote Control' series.. Hope it helps.
I have confussion how to supply current to flight controller it required 5v but I want to connect my quadcopter with 11 v battery spec:- ESC - 30A motor- 2300kva flight controller kk2.15 evo Receiver- 9ch
See the videos in the 'Introduction to remote control' series and the 'Quadcopter building for beginners' series on the channel too - both of those have all of the basics to help with a new build.. Best of luck!

Thanks, very informative. New to this and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how things are powered.
Wonderful resource. Thanks a million! Now I won't be tempted to keep flying :D
Is it safe to connect the positive terminal of a 4S Li-po? I am afraid, because the voltage goes upto 16.8 volts
Great stuff, I soldered directly to the board, but then I'm abit chavey on my builds
great video so there is no need of negative /GND wiring?
That's right, the ground is common throughout the system and the board uses the ground from the ESC/UBEC leads. Thanks for asking.
Happy flying!
my kk2 doesnt have that pin. has the board changed since this vid?
AndyRC watch the video from 1:37, you will see that my board didn't have it either..
Happy flying
