Of these 3 great performances, I thought Longview's sound was superior but wish they had gone before Naconowhere. That drill design and execution brought the crowd to their feet! That was a hard act to follow. I loved that one most of all.
Bitch, you better watch what you say before you talk about Nac, I’m sorry, but I think we got our ones at marching band competition 42 years in a row, so you need to be giving my ass 42 Kisses, get a life hobo
That maneuver is called a "waterfall" and it doesn't have any pass throughs but it was designed to look like it. How it works is that each rank is delayed by 6 steps and the pattern is up turn up turn up turn and if done in 6 step intervals the band does not collide but "meet" two steps away like the normal distance away in a regular block.
Memories here of NHS class of 02! Thanks for sharing this.
Sure! I'm class of '04 from Lufkin. Great years of marching. Despite the "rivalry", we always enjoyed watching Nac and thought you guys were great.
Nac high's fanfare is the introduction of a piece called "Hail to the Fleet" by Richard Maltby. The second march is Attorney General by KL King.
tbonesfa Hey thanks!!
I miss those days...I was in that routine.
I was in it too. I do miss those days with our wonderful band director.
Chris Parks Me too!
I feel so old watching this because even though this was back in 2001, I was a year away from graduating college
Longview play invictus, north wind 1st and 2nd strain, and the Viking
Thanks!!

The drill starting at 6:25. The first time I saw it was a&m a few years ago. It looks really complicated to do all those pass throughs
