Good question! I haven't had any trouble with mine and it's been about two years. Maybe it depends on usage, I only use mine like once a month at the very maximum.
Mine died after 2 uses. Amika was great at replacing it. Apparently they received so many complaints, they came out with the 2.0. I wrote to Amika and complained and felt that I should be able to replace mine since it came out so soon after I had my problem. They told me that if at any time my dryer stops working, that I could haven't replaced with the 2.0 and I wouldn't even have to send the old one back. I have been dealing with Amika for about 4 years now and their customer service is amazing. I should say dealt because they changed their point system and I got really upset because I have like 50,000 points. So I stopped buying from them. Although I still think their products are amazing, such as the Caroline, I will buy it from Sephora. But I have been using Bondi boost and jvn products and are absolutely loving them. They don't have that Amica smell, but they still smell good. And I think there line is much better. I wasn't happy when Amiga came out with the dream Mass and that product line because we do not need hieralana acid in our hair. So I felt that that was just a gimmick and it irritated me a bit. And I boost caters to all sorts of hair, especially if you have thinning hair. And their hair thickening spray, which I spray my roots for lift and their heavenly oil, are probably the most amazing products I've ever used. Jvn has a thickening wine and a strengthening line and a moisturizing line. They have pre shampoo oils and shine oils. I guess every once in awhile you have to switch it up because I believe once you use the same line for so long, it just doesn't work as good. But as far as using a blow dryer brush, I would only use a professional band. I would never use the Revlon and fry my hair. That's just me personally. Everybody has a budget. I've been doing my hair curly for the last 6 months and it's funny I just saw this video because I just used my blow dryer brush for the first time in a very long time and oh my God is it dirty. There has to be a way to get all that dust out. I can get the hair out, but that dust makes it look so disgusting.
@@heyitscamday Do you use it rarely because it feels damaging to the hair or because it's not super convenient? I bought mine with the idea of blowing out my hair every time I use it, is that a bad idea?
How do you feel in comparison with Revlon?
how loud is this brush compared to other blow dryer brushes
Is it true that it dies after a couple months of use ?
I want to purchase it but many people are complaining about its longevity problem
