Comparing different era's make this compilation outstanding. F1 team dominance is always very subjective and can be viewed many different ways. In the Verstappen era, Max has managed to redefine the criteria for assessing team dominance. Starting out as an aggressive, fearless young driver, he quickly showed his natural talent and learned, very quickly, how to maximize the performance that the car gave him. A year later, he learned how to refine his amazing skills to become a race winner! Despite Max's age, his obvious assets are so broad that it's hard to identify what is his best asset. As an example: 1) On track, Max always races for the win......... irrespective of the limitations / obstacles he has to overcome. From day 1, driver's / teams reputation is irrelevant to him. ha-ha 2) Max has a very special ability to focus solely on the race, as it unfolds, and adapt his approach to maximize race results....... especially in the rain ha-ha 3) Possibly one of Max's greatest asset, is that he can compartmentalize each race, with no regrets, no matter what happened on or off track that day, by saying "it is what it is and we can't change it, so let's move on". 4) Knowing each drivers driving style , almost as well the the drivers themselves, gives him major advantage when trying to overtake them. ha-ha 5) Max's greatest asset is that he always gives an honest assessments, even if F1 or the FIA or Net Flicks don't like his response. ha-ha 6) The list goes on & on. ha-ha Has anybody noticed that the recent, perceived BS about RB management unity problems, had absolutely zero effect on Max's on or off track performance!!!!
I thought Sergio could've seen the writing on the wall with the drama behind the scenes. He should've left a few years ago.... he could've built a team of his own somwwhere else 17:46
So Horner was right when a few months ago he said the engine regs for 2026 would see drivers lifting and coasting at tracks like Monza to generate power for the batteries. But you all ridiculed it as though he was trying to get things changed in Red Bull's favour. Anyone with half a brain could see that these cars are getting bigger, heavier and less interesting as far as grand Prix racing used to be
They were talking about Monaco in this video and the slow speed corner. The jury is still out on whether Horner was right about lifting and coasting in Monza.
I’ve been saying Mercedes doesn’t need a stop gap driver before bring in Antonelli especially in a rebuilding phase. If he goes somewhere else for a year he’s going to have to relearn team operations and the feel of the car will likely be very different. It’s better for his long term success to be brought up straight to the big team.
I have no issue with a 10 team limit but nobody can’t own 2 teams it’s insane they’ve not been penalised for some of the crap they’ve pulled with extra cars on the grid to help and protect the Redbull cars but there also does need to be something that can force sales of a team if they aren’t trying to compete, maybe they have to spend the costcap each season even if your crap and in 10th
I think if they keep the dimensions, aero and just drop the wight to 550 kg these cars would turn and accelerate so much better. I think Ideally we would make the cars lighter a bit shorter and a bit narrower. the best racing you can compete in and watch is spec series if you wana see who the best driver is.
Amazing, the son of Mario Freaking Andretti doesn't "add value" to F1?!?!?? They mad at Andretti. They're making rules *just* to keep them out. I hope he buys one of those teams you mentioned. Haas, Sauber, Williams...
I never understand the whole qualifying judgement, while Checo may not have made it into Q3 as much as Max and the others in '23, he did finish P2 in the standings, so does qualifying mean more than the race on Sunday? You can start last and still win. Checo is a unique driver in that he sucks at qualifying, but will almost certainly make up for it in the race. Sure teams don't like it as it can be seen as risky, but then if you aren't taking risks, why are you in F1 to begin with. If you were to ask who is most likely to make up places in a F1 race if they start last, Checo is up there with Hamilton, Sainz, Leclerc, Verstappen, and Alonso.
I'm not understanding Newey's point about 2026 PU's. It doesn't make sense that they'll be generators when the MGU-H is no longer going to be in use. It's going to be ICU + MGU-K. If you want an idea of how that looks in terms of performance, take a look at the Audi and Toyota LMP1s from 2016 through 2018. There, it was even less than 50-50 between the electrical and ICU. The ICUs had an output of about 500hp with the electrical providing up to 800hp extra by some estimates.
The Motor Generator Unit - Kinetic (usually abbreviated as MGU-K) is a component of a hybrid-electric power unit. The unit is both an electric generator and motor.
5:50 When management of publicly traded companies or organizations say "grow" and "growth" they aren't talking about what you think, it's not about popularity, participation, or even direct profits for that matter, all they are talking about and care about is stock prices.
It's nothing like it was and will probably get worse. Gone are the days of fighting until the last few races even if it was inter-team. The new rules were supposed to make it more competitive but the emphasis on aero for easy follow and pass has resulted in the aero expert running the show. Absolutely no issues with Newey, he's doing his job so well. Bring back the era before Ross Brawn started running that side of F1, I have huge admiration for him but this hasn't been working. The last time Red Bull had a run it was with Vettel, watch those races, that is motorsport, that is F1.
As much as I hate how F1 is turning into a franchise based grid, I kind of understand why they're doing this. During covid year plenty of these teams were struggling to keep afloat, and with the help of DTS it boomed this sport worldwide, (my friends who don't even like racing now stays up with me to watch it lol) Playing devil's advocate if Andretti and the other teams really wanted to join F1 why did they not do it years ago before the DTS boom? And in the business standpoint hopefully this franchise based will help the back grid teams become profitable and competitive. To me F1 is just trying to secure the long run, and we all know the hype can't live forever, I would not be surprised if years from now the DTS fans will slowly fade away and viewership will go down again.
Perez and Ricciardo. They were slow at the Suzuka Chicane. Braking is what makes the difference on a high-speed circuit. Tsunoda commented that he was better at braking than Ricciardo in Australia. The gap will widen on slower circuits.
@@jacksonrodrigues7533 Yeah you may be right about that. I am beginning to notice a pattern of assumptions and opinions rather than just facts. But hey what do I know. With that being said Vamos Checo. I wanted him to stay with RB but now I kind of want him to leave.
Come now TacticalRab ... the word 'Unstable' is a far cry from what you describe. A better word would be 'Inconsistent' but I am guessing your choice of word is better for click baiting.
Can’t help but think if anyone that has a hand on Honda’s engine could be transferred to team Andretti, that they would then be able to buy the RB (whatever it called )team.
I think that it is a bad idea to limit the number to 10teams. I totally understand that only so many cars can fit on track, however boot strap teams like Williams once was will no longer able to be started and join. It then only becomes a contest of who has the quickest franchise, not who is the quickest ManuFacturer in the world.
Why can’t they go back to v8 or V10 with synthetic or cleaner fuels why hybrids. The cars are overweight. And the 10 team limit is ridiculous they are killing f1
Gasoline, ICE only. 1000bhp from turbos. Down size the entire car, back to a normal sized racing car. weight reduction will follow without battery power and electric motors. Fans and drivers would love it, FIA would hate it because they feel they need to save the world that doesn't need saving especially from twenty F1 racing cars. 9 of the largest super container ships are responsible for the CO2 emissions equal to all cars, trucks, busses, and the like running in the USA for an entire year.
Andretti-Cadillac won’t add value? F1 Champion and CART Champion Mario Andretti a legend in motor racing and Michaels legacy to. It would be incredible to have this team in F1! Does HAAS bring value to F1
The teams dont want to split the prize pie any more than they have to. 10 teams as a limit seems dumb, but I am of the opinion that Andretti should buy into one of the current teams that are slacking. Haas should just team up with Andretti.
Fine 10 teams three cars a piece. You got all these drivers that want to continue and a bunch of rookies that also want a chance. So three cars two veterans and one rookie.
As a fan of both Motogp and F1 - I REALLY don't want a joint weekend! It will mean neither F1 or Motogp support races will happen and for me personally, the racing excitement in Moto 3 and Moto 2 is not worth losing to watch an F1 race which just wont be as exciting on track in terms of competitive racing and overtakes. I also imagine the cost of that weekend would be more than the average Motogp weekend is normally and paying more to replace 2 races which which are often packed with action and you don't know who will win with some F1 races which even in the sprints don't have much on track action seems like a bad deal to me. What excites me about F1 is (unfortunately) not the on track action anymore, its much more the level of detail of cars, strategy and just likeing fast cars. Its a completely different attrtaction. So for me, It will be a shame if they do that, but obviously lots of people might like it so for them it will be cool. So each to their own.
If f1 excludes Americans it can kiss revenue goodbye Americans already have nascar and indy car F1 is lucky to be getting the American involvement now and can fuck off in the future with this “Good Ole Europe Boys Club” mindset the rest of the world would just lose interest and continue to watch football
Cars "feel like a boat" I watched a podcast this week featuring Juan Pablo Montoya this week....im sure a lot of you guys watched it. If you haven't, it's right here: ua-cam.com/video/uRnp168u9IA/v-deo.html. It's a great watch I recommend. During the interview, Juan waxes poetically about driving Formula One during his era. The cars were super light and nimble and overpowered. The tires were robust. He talked about having to drive harder in the races than in qualifying, not much tire management etc. Wouldnt we all love to see Formula One be more like this. Yeah, overtakiing was way harder back then. But, you'd think they could be a compromise with DRS and tires. Maybe bring back refueling if they can find a safe way to do so. The 2026 regs will make the cars lighter but theyre still going to be limousines compared to what F1 cares were traditionally from 1950- 2010. It's really a shame we'll never get to see Max drive a car that you have to man handle. At least we got to see Alonso and Lewis drive the traditional F1 machines for part of their careers.
The management of Red Bull and Marko are such who would want to join Red Bull. Add in the attention that the second seat draws from the media. Who would want that seat?
Saying "oh no, they can't use off the shelf battery technology for F1" is a rather dumb objection. No sh*t, yeah, just like is the case with pretty much anything else in F1. That's what historically brought about innovation.
batteries whether in formula 1 or in everyday life like Tesla... is the biggest scam of the last 10 years, in 10 or 15 years all these batteries will be a real problem, I will prefer less race without battery and a real V8 or V10 engine!!!
Kevin and Hulken are literly 2-2 2023 was 2023 and atm we are in 2024 where its 2-2 Kevin was faster at Jeddah and Australia, with Hulken being faster in Japan (Bahrain unknown, even though Hulkenberg was the reason he finished where he did) so saying its odd to give Kevin the update first is something I would have to disagree with, one of them has to recive it, and them being as close as they are (in the race) and for some reason this year every time Hulkenberg starts far ahead, he throws it all away with silly mistakes, just as silly as the ones Kevin made in Jeddah.
Ten teams have been pocketing the money destined for two missing teams for years. The existing teams should put up $600m between them for each of the two teams to level the playing field when a new team arrives. After all, they have happily taken the money for years. Why would they feel entitled to not pay up? Oh, I remember. The accountants have taken over.
It's risky for Sainz, what if he is now out qualified by his team mate and Perez altogether from here on? The top team will start pulling back isn't it? 🙆♂️
I really dont understand why people hate so much on Perez. As long as he is 2nd, he is doing his job done period. I don't think that RB want a 2nd driver that chalanges Max. You you do think that your just delusional.
I've heard rumors that Carlos is trying to lock in a multi year contract with Merc, but they only want to give him a 1+1. But just a rumor at this point.
Red Bull would be crazy not to sign Carlos. Im a Hamilton fan, and the only justice to this is if Carlos gets that RB drive. ESPECIALLY if he finishes as strong as he is going now
F1 afraid of Andretti and afraid of 1 or 2 more teams? Wow, it seems like these organizations have zero confidence in the sport leading to very odd future decision making. F1 has been around a long time and these changes won’t be the end of the sport.
Can anyone explain what is the reason for f1's prejudice against Andretti is actually over? Genuinely curious what happened that F1 and other teams are going so far above and beyond to prevent them joining. I dont get it at all. Everything they've said is hypocritical and confusing
It's too late for Perez. I'm surprised anyone is talking about signing him. He's lucky he wasn't bought out of his contract this year. Perez and Ricciardo need to go.
They should have an open engine rule. The only stipulations being, the fuel tank is going to be reduced by 5% every year, you are not allowed mid-ace refuelling and there is a rev limit. There should be 26 cars on the grid. Any fewer than that and F1 is a failure. The issue with Perez and qualifying is down to the car. Verstappen is so aggressive on tyres that they deliberately made a car that is light on tyres. Perez is smoothe on tyres so can't get the heat into the tyres with this car over one lap to get them into a good window for qualifying. Perez "got worse" over the year because the car gets more and more develped for Verstappen's preferences as the year goes on. I think Perez should tell them where to go and join another team unless they stop developing the car only for Verstappen.
They need to make it like the European soccer/football leagues. Formula 2 should have the exact same regs as F1 and teams are competing to move up to F1. Bottom feeders in F1 are demoted down to F2. Until they can build a team that is competitive again. Bottom 3 teams in F1 demoted to F2 Top 3 teams in F2 promoted to F1 These bottom teams are too secure in their position to put in the effort.
We are basically watching them running F1 into the ground at this point🤦

1) On track, Max always races for the win......... irrespective of the limitations / obstacles he has to overcome. From day 1, driver's / teams reputation is irrelevant to him. ha-ha
2) Max has a very special ability to focus solely on the race, as it unfolds, and adapt his approach to maximize race results....... especially in the rain ha-ha
3) Possibly one of Max's greatest asset, is that he can compartmentalize each race, with no regrets, no matter what happened on or off track that day, by saying "it is what it is and we can't change it, so let's move on".
4) Knowing each drivers driving style , almost as well the the drivers themselves, gives him major advantage when trying to overtake them. ha-ha
5) Max's greatest asset is that he always gives an honest assessments, even if F1 or the FIA or Net Flicks don't like his response. ha-ha
6) The list goes on & on. ha-ha
Has anybody noticed that the recent, perceived BS about RB management unity problems, had absolutely zero effect on Max's on or off track performance!!!!
So Leclec is aloud to have several bad weekends and keep his seat but as soon as Perez has one they want to get rid of him.
The problem is the hybrid systems weight so much and take so much space the teams physically can't build a 550kg car with them.
15:59. Anyone knows, what is the site address?
There could easily be 48 teams. 24 and each hemisphere competing for one championship.
Grid is too small unsafe and people would die
Perez and Ricciardo. They were slow at the Suzuka Chicane. Braking is what makes the difference on a high-speed circuit. Tsunoda commented that he was better at braking than Ricciardo in Australia. The gap will widen on slower circuits.
The unappreciative attitude towards Checos skills and his achievements is unbearable
Yup….including this news anchor
@@jacksonrodrigues7533 Yeah you may be right about that. I am beginning to notice a pattern of assumptions and opinions rather than just facts. But hey what do I know. With that being said Vamos Checo. I wanted him to stay with RB but now I kind of want him to leave.
You want Checo out so badly, your campaign against him and your misinformation day after day diminishes your credibility…
You do realise he's showing the sources on screen?
This is an old news anyway. Why he has to keep on bringing it up. This guy never said anything good about Perez anyway
Nico Hulkenburg and Nico Rosberg at Audi would be insane. Both Nicos on the same team. 😂
The regulation changes are mainly due to European Union laws coming into effect, so F1 must come up with a solution.
Come now TacticalRab ... the word 'Unstable' is a far cry from what you describe. A better word would be 'Inconsistent' but I am guessing your choice of word is better for click baiting.
Stop putting bombshell in every freaking title
Just make the engine formula 3-4L V12 engines with an 11,000 rpm Rev limit.
Leave the electrics to formula E, F1 is meant to be a 'show'right?
Andretti-Cadillac won’t add value? F1 Champion and CART Champion Mario Andretti a legend in motor racing and Michaels legacy to. It would be incredible to have this team in F1! Does HAAS bring value to F1
One race doesn't make you the tire deg King 👑
UA-camrs try not to disrespect Sergio Perez Challenge impossible
I don't think you would want a brand new driver to a team right when there is a regulations change. I doubt any 1 year contracts for next year.
If f1 excludes Americans it can kiss revenue goodbye Americans already have nascar and indy car F1 is lucky to be getting the American involvement now and can fuck off in the future with this “Good Ole Europe Boys Club” mindset the rest of the world would just lose interest and continue to watch football
Andretti wants a team but RB has two……
RB second team was thrusted onto Redbull by FIA. Different times, different set of decisions
If Verstappen says that this year's car aren't to his liking and if the 2026 changes end up backfiring hard, then he may hate these cars even more
Cars "feel like a boat"
I watched a podcast this week featuring Juan Pablo Montoya this week....im sure a lot of you guys watched it.
I absolutely love Moto GP and it’s a lot more entertaining than F1 specially these days.
This engine generator thing is bollocks. Why are they hellbent on killing the sport?
not gonna lie in 2026...i might find something new to watch if this stays whos gonna want to watch this product i guess ill just have to wait and see
Saying "oh no, they can't use off the shelf battery technology for F1" is a rather dumb objection. No sh*t, yeah, just like is the case with pretty much anything else in F1. That's what historically brought about innovation.
Andretti F1 has to happen to save F1 from itself.
If Aston were serious they would sign Carlos alongside Fernando
And what about Williams? They can’t even afford one spare chassis. Williams really should go.
batteries whether in formula 1 or in everyday life like Tesla... is the biggest scam of the last 10 years, in 10 or 15 years all these batteries will be a real problem, I will prefer less race without battery and a real V8 or V10 engine!!!
Want to kill your growth, especially in the US? Keep pulling this shit and pulling the ladder up behind you. Come on F1..
For the density they want, I am guessing lithium polymer batteries.
So Marko didn't really say anything massively negative about Checo, this time, right?
O’ Right Guys
Forget Alpine and Haas. Redbull sister team should be replaced by Andretti.that simple.
Anyone else heard news about Sainz to MB ?
I've heard rumors that Carlos is trying to lock in a multi year contract with Merc, but they only want to give him a 1+1. But just a rumor at this point.
Let's hope they cancel these garbage engines and we can get back to V10s with cleaner fuels
Red Bull would be crazy not to sign Carlos. Im a Hamilton fan, and the only justice to this is if Carlos gets that RB drive. ESPECIALLY if he finishes as strong as he is going now
I don't believe Gunther was incompetent
F1 afraid of Andretti and afraid of 1 or 2 more teams? Wow, it seems like these organizations have zero confidence in the sport leading to very odd future decision making. F1 has been around a long time and these changes won’t be the end of the sport.
Can anyone explain what is the reason for f1's prejudice against Andretti is actually over?
Genuinely curious what happened that F1 and other teams are going so far above and beyond to prevent them joining.
I dont get it at all. Everything they've said is hypocritical and confusing
F1 slowly turning into FH (formula hybrid)
It's too late for Perez. I'm surprised anyone is talking about signing him. He's lucky he wasn't bought out of his contract this year. Perez and Ricciardo need to go.
Yes someone who’s doing what he’s suppose to do should be sacked? Are you alright dude?
They’re going to have so many thermal problems with the new formula
F2 will be the new F1
Bottom 3 teams in F1 demoted to F2
Top 3 teams in F2 promoted to F1
These bottom teams are too secure in their position to put in the effort.
Why can't F1 have a relegation style league or F1 relegation qualifying
The fia must be in liberty media's pocket
You really don't like Perez, right?
Yeah… he’s got nothing to talk Good about Perez.
