    If I hadn't already smashed that subscribe button, because of the well informed and non-biased review, I would have definitively done after the hilarious clip at the end! Genau mein Humor, Brudi! :P

    Hi Gregor! Any chance you could also do a video on the final cabinet in this range, the 4x10? Love the channel!

    Wow! That rig (especially that Little Stubby) sounds INCREDIBLE! Great bass playing aside, this is one of the better "studio captures" I've heard in a while. I'm curious, if you were going to record that amp with a 1x15 (of your choosing)...what do you think you would go with?

    just a heads-up that the links in the description lead to the german-language website, not a huge issue since changing it is just one click but it seemed worth mentioning, quality content as always!

    The bonedo test marathon stated that they seem to sound like there was a towel hanging over the speaker... would you confirm, that more expensive cabs deliver considerately more detail than this cab does? Because Harley Benton is a brand that managed to suprise a lot of people with it's quality to performance ratio.

    a 1x15 has more surface area than 2 10" speakers. Area = pie x radius ^2 (and for the 10's specifically, 2x (pie x radius ^2))

    • @joeldcanfield_spinhead
      @joeldcanfield_spinhead 3 роки тому

      Yup: 2 10s = approx 157in sq, 1 15 = approx 177in sq (14% more area! boom!) Okay, so does it matter a lot?

    Whoooa whoa whoa there. Whats the bass at 1:52? Also Rene never dissapoints. Bery tempted by the 2×10 to pair with the 1x15

    Thank you for review! Looks impressive for the price.
    Would it be good idea to pair BB115T with BB210T? I have read many articles that advises to pair only two identical cabinets.

    They are 8 ohms and have 2 inputs so I can hook a 2x10 and a 1x15 up to create a 4 ohm setup, right?

      Is that knob in the back for controlling tweeter level?

    theres nothing better than the 2 15 cabinet . especially if you have an ampeg analog preamp pedal .

    There's actually more surface area on a 15 inch speaker than a 2x10. (π5^2)2=157.07 and π7.5^2=176.71. this doesn't account for the center of the speakers. You could argue that there's more voice coil and magnet behind two tens. But it's all subjective. I like 15s and 12s after years of thinking that 8x10s and pjbs were the end-all-be-all.

    • @ethanlancaster76
      @ethanlancaster76 5 років тому +2

      RandomTuber782 it’s not really about the surface area but about the amount of air that is being moved.

    • @RandomTuber782
      @RandomTuber782 5 років тому +5

      @@ethanlancaster76 and what moves air? Magical fairy farts? The speaker cone and the surface area of the speaker cone.

    • @ethanlancaster76
      @ethanlancaster76 5 років тому +2

      RandomTuber782 the speaker “cone” is actually the dust cover for the voice coil which doesn’t move air. The surround and the area between the dust cover is what moves air. Two tens move more air than a single 15” speaker. Fact.

    • @RandomTuber782
      @RandomTuber782 5 років тому +1

      @@ethanlancaster76 I think you're thinking of the dust cap... Coil moves the cone.

      It wasn't the recording. These speakers in the HB cabinets cannot handle if the player is picking to hard. Rated at 200 or 250W wich means its 100W speaker twice in the 2x10 and 200W in the 1x15. Change it and you get awesome sounds out of it. Thick plywood heavy but worth the upgrade.

    Ziemlich viel Harley Benton in letzter Zeit. Gibt es einen Grund dafür? Letztendlich schmarotzt HB bei anderen Herstellern, die Zeit und Geld in Forschung und Entwicklung investieren. Wenn wir nur HB kaufen wird es keine Entwicklung mehr geben. Behalten wir das im Hinterkopf. Meine Erfahrungen mit HB waren leider eher schlecht. Billig im Preis und Billig im Klang.
