I used to tape recordings of a drum and bass radio show that use to air in the metro new York area in the early 2k's called "The Late Nigh Ambrosia Program". This is how I first discovered this track.
I 'eard this Choon live by Vinyl Syndicate kru at Turbo in T-DOT circa '01. I about lost my isht! Hardest choon eva! JUNGLIST 4 Life! Big ups to Eastern Blok records, Viper, Tommy Ill-Fingers, Warlockz, Everfresh and all dem London, T-Dot rudebwoys! Shit has gotten fucking gay in comparison to these golden years.
Absolute tearing gem of a tune. One of my all time favourites. Most DJs would play the heavy amen-laden remix on the flipside. I got multiple rewinds with this record back in the day. BIG UP! :)
JUST LIKE BOB MARLEY,NOW MAKE YA HEAR SOME BUMBARASCLAT CHUNES TONIGHT YA SEE! I sing along to the rest of this song with words I make up that sound like what they are saying. If I found the Patois lyrics I could die a happy girl.

This is by far the better mix of the two. A little more subtle than the amen rinse out on the flipside of the 12" but the distortion on that dope rollin b-line says it all. dope as fuck. had several rewinds on this track
It's 5.30am the morning the sun is just coming up your at the rave in the middle of woods off your head and this banger comes on oh the memories 😁
a canadian classic!! brining back so many memories..
Indeed one of the best tunes ever! Nothing else quite like it!
Dude, rolling through the park n ride high on e introducing this to the people waiting to go to work. 90's vibe.
toute ma jeunesse, le matin en freeparty sur du gros son!
Merci!
Big up the Canadian Crew
I remember Steve ( freaky flow ) dropping this with Superman song. Upstate NY repped with T dot hard mang
First time I heard it was in Denver when Sniper got 2 rewinds. Massif choon.
Pull it back SELECKTAH BWOOOOOOY! This track is fire! The dance floor gets destroyed to this tune!
11 years on, sitting in northern Ontario, cottage country with my old ass and my old ass friends, the party still bumps to this tune.
✌️
I bought two of this record in Toronto the day it came out, every dj at the party we went to played it that night
Cherry Beach chainsaw boys brought me here 🤘
I wish that wasn't the case, but also, not surprised that they would be the types still listening to late 90s ragga * eye roll *
Same
Lol
Was just looking for a digi link to send to my young homie…
Holding this OG pressing in my hands right now
Thank you for the post
Cheers
I don't know how I know this song, but I'm glad I do. One of my favorites.
