Back when P&W was in the forefront and choir was the norm....that band was top players! I love Chester's playing with Rod Kenoly. I missed him at the EXPO! Earl you nailed it! I truly enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@joeybaggadoughnutts9075 thanks Joey! I missed a few of the greats walking around too! Thanks for the feedback and encouragement! It was great meeting you in person!
OH MAN!! GREAT music GREAT players! We did the whole LIFT HIM UP praise and worship song book when this came out! I met Chester Thomson at a clinic here in NJ that Pat Petrillo was running several years ago as we lined up to get autographs and pic everyone was praising him for his work with Zappa and Phil Collins which was great but when I brought up Ron Kenoly he got emotional and said that was a very special night! What a humble and warm man he is!
@@charliecontrino1626 I played all these songs during the early 1990s in church! This is a very important album for the first wave worship music being accepted in the modern church! I met Chester in Nashville last week! He got very emotional and said it was his favorite album he played on to me! He is a special and super humble man! It was great meeting him!
Great Stuff and nice camera work too. Nice calypso vibe.An old friend of mine plays trombone with Ron canolini now. Claude used to be in Brian Setzer.Orchestra work with Neil Young in the blue nodes.Played on the rattling, hum.Sound track by two used to be in madison now lives in nashville.
@@jimflys2 thanks for the feedback and story Jim! This was a very special recording for worship music! I was playing lots of worship music in church during this first wave of worship music moving to the mainstream! It was much freer back than! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻🥁🤘🏻
Wow, there is nothing better than quality time with your life buddy. I love the matching tees. Asher has the color I would want. What does the message mean? Oh, I altos forgot to mention your great drumming. Boy, you have a lot going on in this one including some wonderful instrumentation around that great sounding set. Nicely done, my hammering hombre.❤️🙏👏❤️🙏👏❤️
@@gregwonhoff7161 what is the message of the song? Or the description about the artist Ron Kenoly? There is not a lot of info on the album being it from 1991, but it’s a very important album in church music history! The song message speaks to healing process of Christ in our life after pain and suffering. I almost held this one a few weeks because it’s that time of year again where I deal with loss and grief. I needed that message yesterday more than anyone knows. This song was for me this morning!
@@gregwonhoff7161 Greg it’s a drum shop in Nashville TN! Forks drum closet. Asher dad bought the shirt for him when he went to Nashville! I got mine last week!
