I love watching you in the garden. I can tell how much you love it. You r videos are one of my favorites. I love your cooking videos also. You are happy and upbeat...always gives me a smile. My oldest son and I could live and talk about the garden for hours. He loves to cook like you.
I moved from central IL to the Atlanta area... I have discovered your channel and it feels so much like my parents' farm back home. Thanks for sharing your life with us!
You should eat the dandelions, You can make dandelion honey from the yellow flower, a lovely coffee from the root and a salad or stir fry greens with the leaves, not to mention a great dandelion wine. They are a great food source and they all taste ever so delicious. The bees love them and we all know we have to look after the bees. Your garden is absolutely beautiful. Love your furry little boss overseeing your work :) Your front garden is lovely. I decided to plant a variety of Hostas along the front and they have grown in beautifully. Must ask you, Is rhubarb hard to grow? I love love love rhubarb especially as a sauce with vanilla icecream and as a pie. Love your videos! Happy Gardening!
Kaleb your garden is absolutely gorgeous I just love it!!I can imagine seating in thd porch and watching it ,it’s just dreamy !! You are so great w garden design !! Love your channel
I started chemo a few weeks ago, good prognosis, BUT the dr casually drop the fact I’m not allowed to touch dirt for the duration. I have to say it was upsetting to find I have cancer and need chemo but the fact I’m not able to dig or work in my yard all this growing season REALLY took the wind out of my sails! I look forward to spring all winter! It was adding insult to injury! My son is a police officer and years ago told me if I ever call 911 to add the fact I’ve run amuck with flowers and they will immediately know my house! PLEASE do lots of gardening videos this year so I can garden vicariously!
I think Kip has spine and rear leg issues. My sweet Ace, who was a Boston Terrier, had the same issues. Bless little Kip. He's so lucky to have you to take care if him. I miss my Ace face so much. I have a garlic chive handed down from my great aunt. I so enjoy hearing about the legacy of plants and recipies you share with us. I'm blessed with many of the same things. Take care.😢
Best garden on UA-cam (you and Bunny Guinness are my garden inspiration). I love all the structure, and the strategically-placed architectural elements. It is so tidy and neat, yet still country. The nepeta will be beautiful in a few weeks, and the allium! Please to many updates this spring and summer!! I’m getting ready to plant corn, tomatoes and peppers. My perennial catmint, lavender and Russian Sage took off this week after a lot of rain and now heat in Missouri. Thanks, Kaleb! ☺️🐝. Looking forward to seeing all your garden beds progress over the summer.
I am in New Hampshire. Was 29 the other night. We lost tomatoes squash and zucchini plant. We also lost plants from seed because we dropped into a deep freeze. We have similiar weather I believe. We are zone 5 they say. Id say we are 4.5!!! Love your statues..
Thank you for sharing your cover your salad crop from ! This year has been crazy cold... I've used covering for heat but never had this long winter problem. My dad went around with the SAME get the dandy lions tool and bucket; He'd section our, 3 football field sized yard, into about 7 areas and by June our yard was looking like a golf green😳😁 out of 5 siblings I was the only one who followed Dad around the never done chores of gardening and loved it❣️ And still do! Especially your Wyse Guide ideas💖
I have Bobo hydrangeas planted in large urns that flank my front gates. They are mature and are beautiful. They look fantastic in the blazing heat of peak summer. I also have the Fire Light Tidbit hydrangeas in full sun, they tolerate the heat and wind in my very hot 7b zone. I love your gardening videos. You have really inspired me.
Kaleb, your gardens are gorgeous and full, and I love your raised vegetable gardens. Last year I purchased eight 85-gallon poly stock tanks, which will be my raised veggie gardens. I still need to have someone cut the bottoms of them out so they can sit directly on the ground. That way earthworms will be able to help break down the organic matter that I'll add to amend and improve the soil. Have you ever propagated any of your panicle hydrangeas from cuttings? I did that for the first time last year and was delighted with the results. It's been a cold spring here too in eastern Nebraska, zone 5a. Now, the temps have decided to get hot, 80's today and for most of the week. Everything has really started to leaf out in the last two days. Happy gardening! ~Margie
You might want to add height to you raised beds. It will make it easier as the years come along. Wish I had done that now that I'm old. Love your garden, both vegetable and ornamental. Yard is lovely.
So funny, my peony has finished blooming already. I really love the soft fern like one. I wonder if I can grow that type here in the south. Wish o could share some of my HVS with you, mine has really spread.
Hey guy ……. I love your videos …… would you please tell me what is that topiary tree you have by your front entrance of your house ? The one that looks like Pom poms …… I really want to get one for my garden ….thank you
Planting bobos for next year. Some of my hydrangea ( blye usualky ) don't bloom grrrrrr.... So frustrating. Doing everything I can but nothing. ( spoke to master gardeners, horticulteralists etc...) No one knows why some hydrangea just dont bloom. Anyone out there ???? Caleb ?
Your passion for a clean food is understandable but… why are you killing dandelions ? In early spring, they are the only source of pollen and nectar not only for bees but also for all sort of benefitials. In fact, dandelion is one of the most potent medicinal plants on this planet which deserves a much greater respect. Another fact, if you have dandelions this means you have a very compact soil, which they are trying to break while providing you this service for free. Once their job is done, these plants usually leave.
What are you going to do with the hydrangeas you took out ?? Please tell me your not throwing them away ….. 🥲🥲 If you are … Please replant or give them to someone who will love them

We have boxwood blight in southern WI. I am so sad. There is no treatment. We are told to STOP planting boxwood.
Do you have any plans for the hydrangeas that you removed?

Serious question! Last year I received ‘winter’ onions and I’m clueless about them! Help? When they flower, what do you do?
Did you transplant the Lime lights some where else?
You eat dandelions….very good for early spring
~ I'm curious about the name of the sculpture? It's quite lovely ~
It's one of the four seasons (they have a statue for each season...I might have gotten all four, haha). I got them at my local garden center.
Where are you transplanting the other hydrangeas?
Hello, beautiful garden. Can you tell me the name/brand of the tool you were using to weed the dandelions?
He said on Instagram he got it at an antiques store a long time ago
@@margarethuffman1961 thank you
Do you ever grow okra?
How do you manage aphids
