I am about to get one of these fancy things I have had a 40$ one that I have had for months and months and I'm pretty good at it now. I like this thing for the distance it can go and video quality and price I plan on getting one with the sky controller unless u recommend something better for this price range
I like the video. It has nice picture quality. And it is abviously windy but yet still stabil. My only concern was the bit harsh movements of the camera (turning left to right). That could be smoother. But it really looks like a cool thing.
The camera stabilty is quite unsatisfying. Its accually adjusted by hardware giving the video quality a little wierdness to it. I don't like that they didnt just add a gimbal camera on the bottom

Would like to ask you what channel you were using: 2,4GHz or 5GHz (band-1 or band-3?) My last flight was using skycontroller on channel 157 (5GHz, band 3) and the wifi signal on skycontroller was low (1 led switch on out of 4) al only 150 metres of distance from me. Far less from distance shown on the box (they say UP TO 2Km). This setup was performed using United States choice in order not to lower wifi signal emission power due to laws restrictions. Is this the standard bebop drone ? i didn't know it could go so far that is amazing I'm ordering one in a week and i can't wait to use it this summer. Also do you know if there is an antenna you can buy for them to increase the range?

Hey there, have you found that the latest firmware updates in February 2015 have improved the flying experience or simply added further glitches while solving others?

gozilla2a yeah heard about many that they have problems with the home funktion but seems to be better with the range of the controller :) did you use any wifi repeater or something for the range or is it impossible because it makes his own wifi? :D and man 30 flights you're realy a lucky one XD

+Ritchi` Same issues, and I checked the framerate on the original video and it said 100fps! on an Mp4............what are you using to edit your videos with im using Sony Vegas I really want the best resolution possible.....its a good thing this is an ANDROID OPEN SOURCE design and not crApple.........because we can expect some sweet hacks in the future.

there is no fly no built zone in the firmware, max high is 150 meters, and the range is about 1,5-3 kilometers if conditions are very good

the DJI is possible to turn off or adjust the distance and height of flight, there are restrictions

yes it is the standard bebop. if you want it is possible to connect an other antenna on the skycontroller

Flyingthunder1 very easy to flight .. it was my 30 flight .. so i am confident and there is the "return home" which is very good
