Just a comment: The Chinese mfg'rs are so good right now, and they have so many models, ( I guess over 300 different models +), it takes a lot of the specialness away, less money and more available. What a great time in the knife industry, and for collectors.
The reason for the Glimpse being thicker than the Kwaiken is the liner lock in the Glimpse. You can get a thinner knife with a frame lock than you can a liner lock.
Josh Hauptman on the liner lock the gimping has been smoothed out , and the 90° edges on the g10 have been smoothed so when you flip it there's no sharp edges :)

Got to fondle Blake's Glimpse the other day and it's super nice! I almost snatched that one TheHollowGrind has up on their site, but I'm holding out for a possible black & red G10 version.
