Not that it matters but penalty should have been retaken, Newport player who booted it clear ran into the area as Paddy was taking the pen.
Doesn’t excuse how poor the penalty was 😂
He was basically level with Madden when he took it

All this back passing is really pissing me off sure we need to find a way into the opponent box, but this was right through the match Townsend their keeper should have gone at least for all that time-wasting 2 fucking minutes for half time is a right joke karma in the second half with the penalty but Madden made it up as you could feel the electric relief when the ball hit the back of the net it was like we won the title there and then
Vital 3 points for County, given the results around us. Newport didn’t look interested in trying to attack against us.
Do feel that this current County team is lacking a spark at the moment though. Need players like Sarce, Bailey, Tanto and Wootton to come back into the form they were showing from September to November if we are to stay in the top 3.

@@TheFMHatter1986 Agreed, as well as Akil Wright and Will Collar. Only problem is that we have at least another 3 games to play until we’ll see at least 1 of them back.
