1 ) Avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol late in the day. Caffeine and nicotine are stimulants and can keep you from falling asleep. Alcohol can make you wake up in the middle of the night and hurt your sleep quality.

Thanks for sharing, Sheri. I always find that putting your entire attention on the rain sounds works really good. When thoughts appear, then gently redirect your attention back at the rain sounds. After a while, your breathing slows down, body relaxes and you fall asleep. The key is not to try not to think, but redirecting your attention back to the sounds. Thunder lowkey freaks me out but I LOVE rain. I always listen to this video specifically. I love how you can hear the little splashes and it doesnt sounds artificial

Yes it would wake me up at random times so I make sure I play the whole ad in the beginning because I thought it was that but it wasn’t.

I don't know what i would do without this video. I know I would not be sleeping much. A guy in my building plays old country music non stop, (the kind of sounds I grew up with and still dearly love), but just at the limit of audibility. So I strain to hear it. This rain sound drowns out all that, and I can rest. I really do feel better now in the early morning hours. Yes I'm a country boy and still get up at 0 my god dark out.😴
