- Here’s the jaws that I bought as a gift for my friend Maddie, and surprisingly UBER LOW PITCHED, which is really neat, As expected, it didn’t work fully upon arrival, so I’m keeping it for a little longer so I could fix it. This thing sure was a project, as the head wouldn’t lift, the button didn’t work and it wouldn’t work on batteries because of both corrosion and a torn wire on both ends (the adapter slot to the battery compartment). The head wasn’t hard to fix at all. I simply replaced the whistle piece in the mech. The button wasn’t hard either, I used the old button from my first pile of junk jaws, and soldered that new button on and that worked. The battery compartment took me a very long time, since both ends were snapped. I started by cleaning out the battery compartment the best I could, and it looked good enough to work when I was done. So I tried connecting it first before soldering it so I wouldn’t mess up, and it wasn’t giving any signals, and at one point it even started smoking because I think the wire accidentally touched one of the other solder spots. So because that wasn’t working, I tried replacing the adapter slot altogether, and applying a new wire to go with it and that didn’t work either. But I was desperate, so I sacraficed the back of my first junk jaws’s plaque (not the front part, just the back part, it has 100% clean contacts anyways.) so I soldered the wires back on, and at first it still didn’t work, but I swapped the wire AGAIN and it finally started working on batteries! I’m pretty sure the solder was improperly connected on the old plaque. It probably wasn’t necessary to replace the whole back side of the plaque but at that point I had been working on the thing for hours, so I just wanted to get it done, and fortunately all those hours paid off. I was so happy when I fixed it despite it’s not even mine lmao. Now he fully works once again, the head lifts, the button works, and it runs good on batteries. I spent like 3 or 4 hours on that thing and I cut myself a couple times but it’s worth it for how good condition this guy is in. Lol. Now that it’s fixed, I gave it back to Maddie, and maybe she’ll do a video on her channel too. Anyways, after all that, this singing dancing great white move his head, tail, and mouth to “The Jaws theme” and “Mack The Knife.” AMAZING!
Anyways, that’s all I have to say here, so enjoy the video! :D
Great job repairing Maddie's Singing JAWS, the Shark!! It's so unique that it's Uber Low Pitched as well.
Thank you so much! I love the pitch (and the plaque, and like literally everything else about it)! I’m glad it works perfectly now, thanks to you. :)
low pitch that sounds cool
Damn what a low pitch!!
The Jaws theme sounds more menacing here
Dang man, I’m so sorry it took you a hell lot of hours to fix that guy! You are super good at fixing possessions though, unlike me. I know nothing about any of this, besides cleaning out battery corrosion lol.
Nice repairs, but please don't leave UA-cam, I just saw the lot unboxing and heard that you might leave
*_uBer_* low pitched
DUR DUR
DUR DUR!
I got one from my sister that doesn’t work batteries or plugging it in, I’ve opened it and I don’t see any corrosion or loose connections
Here’s a interesting question why does my jaws head lift up the wistle piece is fine as restored mine every thing was corrected by me the motor spins one way but when the head suppose to lift it does every wire was where it’s supposed to and shit still won’t lift and I had jaws since I was seven and really want him working
Speaking of jaws have you finished the custom board swap yet??
Also gR8 job
reply plz I've been wanting to know :/
Tails Productions Huh I thought I replied to this but I guess not, idk if I’ll ever get around finishing that, I had to scrap a few things off the jaws to fix this guy, and the Billy Bones has a ton of snapped wires now, so yeah idk
Oh okay thanks
