Such a wonderful and fascinating interview. Thank you for being such an inspiration and for all of your videos! I just bought my first set of casein paints and am looking forward to trying them out.😀
James Gurney comes across not only as a great artist but also as a genuine and kind human being. So refreshing to listening to his opinions and insights ❤
James was one of the people who inspired me to fall down the urban sketchers rabbit hole on the internet, during the pandemic! I saw myself as an rural sketcher wannabe in an urban sketcher's world... and led to me becoming a plein air painter! Great interview! Thank you!
By the way, I'm a huge fan of James Gurney. I own all of his books and multiple videos. He's remarkable and I look forward to the re-release of his original book. (Same person as Master Oil Painting - my phone shows different account than my computer)
I just finished watching "Painting Animals from Life" James Gurney DVD from the library. He uses gouache, pen & ink, some casein, some watercolor and watercolor pencils.
Thank you So much for doing this James Gurney is the best and I have been getting into dinosaurs now. 🦖🦕🦜Since I did dinovember. Thank you Eric and James Gurney for this wonderful episode.
