- This week on the podcast the brothers interview Granger’s wife Amber Smith. Amber shares an honest life update and talks about Granger and her daughter London who are currently overseas in a 3rd world country! Plus she shares some sneak peaks on some projects she is working on for next year!

That’s what I feel from the three of you. The Holy Spirit. So strong and true, just so genuinely trying to share the gospel with everyone. You’ve been given that new heart and you can’t help but pass on the passion you feel. I’m such a fan of all of you but especially Amber. Because of her and her Arise I bought my first Bible. I have now read it cover to cover and started at the beginning again. There is so much I need to know. A hunger that I just can’t seem to get enough of. I’ll be forever grateful. Granger has been a huge influence as well. I follow all his sermons, his podcast too and found Pastor Chad and Take and Read podcast through that. Just so much goodness. It’s been so fun to watch both Tyler and Parker change and grow through out their journey as well. Thank you guys for all that you put out and share. You are reaching us!! Never had a doubt that y'all would get things fixed and get this back out to us, and it was worth the wait. Loved seeing the three of y'all together without Granger because it gave us some insight into your relationship without Granger being the center of it, although I know the real center of your relationship is your shared faith in God. I love how Amber takes care of y'all kind of as an older sister, and y'all take care of her as younger brothers. Y'all are great!
We by His grace has allowed us to do devotions in our Assisted Living/Nursing home every morning.
I'm glad you was able to fix sound and was able to enjoy the podcast. It was a great episode. I am really enjoying seeing Tyler come out of his shyness. I enjoy listening to him talk and share his thoughts and insights. This was a fun episode and love seeing how comfortable you all was together. I would love for you to to another episode together going down memory lane.

Yes! One of the things that jumped out at me when reading Granger's book is that Amber is even more of a rock star than realized. Now I want to know more about her journey through that time and hopes for the future.
Tyler extremely impacted by this podcast. Sometimes I think to myself do I do what I should in his name. Not being very wealthy I know I can't always financially help others but I try very very hard to always bring the word to someone, especially time of need or joy. Especially those who have lost someone and I just pray that's someday Mt father says job well done. As much as I'd love to go help in bigger ways that matter, the small ways sometimes save lives we don't even know about, but God knows. Such a great podcast 👏

My family and I have been watching The Smiths for years now. As a father of 3 girls, who has been adopted by Christ, and commanded to bring up my children in the fear an admonition of the Lord, finding things we could watch is always difficult. The Smiths, while early on, not explicitly magnifying Christ, was at the very least something we could watch as a family. As time went on there were hints of the work of God in Granger. This prompted me to send Granger two books; Putting Amazing Back Into Grace by Michael Horton, and Christianity and Liberalism by J. Gresham Machen. I don't know if Granger ever received these books, and if so whether he read them, muchless was impacted by them as I have been. But here's what I do know, God is the Source of new life, and that is our union with Christ; Christ in us is the hope of glory. To see Granger and Amber be found by Christ, and to see their growing in the Lord, and having the opportunity to witness this work, if even from the outside, is of great encouragement. God is building His Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Soli Deo gloria

So excited for London to be able to experience a once in a lifetime experience as well as spending time with her father. Children have a need for that. Truly Love this and thanks so much. 🥰🥰

Loved this episode! Glad to hear Amber is working on a book. I’ve read “Like a River” and listened to the audible and would love to hear what she went through in her grief. It’s different for each individual. Also, Amber, you did a great job filling Granger’s spot in this episode of Yee Yee! But will be anxious to hear he and London are back home. 🙏🙏❤️❤️

I've been a followers of The Smith's for two yrs an your word about the Bible AND my Sister usually puts examples of why this an that happens....it's cause God has a plan, doesn't mean we're going to be happy with it.....but you gave to run the course an you look back an say.....yep that was God in action. SO I definitely keep on watching. Praying that Granger an London has a sade an productive trip, that our Lord will clear the path so that these parts if the impoverished ppl will gain knowledge that God will see an come to you in your most dire part of our lives. I always thought I was supposed to go on mission. Little did I know that the mission he has sent me on is in the heart of my home. A home centered life raising tiny disciples full time, educating them and helping make way for opportunity for their spirits to grow and learn the Gospel. I felt led to homesteading in 2014 and we got our land in 2018. It’s been a journey of learning what stewardship is and how to walk in that as a family and what that looks like for each member. My hope is that women, wives and mothers realize that our home life is a ministry in itself. It’s our ground 0 for sending our children as women and men of God out into the world and a Godly place for them to come home to always. We do not have to travel a million miles a way to feel Gods presence or share His message. It’s wonderful for those that do, but be delighted in Him where you are and do what you can now and He will do the rest. Discipline yourself for the purpose of Godliness friends. We all have a part in telling His story and making way for the next generation!

Finally have sound but think the guys mics need to be at a lower level so we can see all of your face. I see that Amber is holding hers in her lap but would think the mics should be able to be lowered or else just need to get a different set up. Love that Amber's channel is talked about for those who have never heard or watched her. I love being a part of her virtual small group.
I hate that you can't edit this. Cause when I start writing an my thoughts jump ahead of me an I forget like words that need to be more exact, I believe ppl can see OH SHE MEANT THIS. Typos could probably start a War...praise the Lord I'm not in a powerful position as that. But even personal text can call confusion an misinterpretation in families or friend's. Most ppl will understand but some....get hot under the collar. But thanks for your podcasts. When I say thank you it's for all if the ppl who work with you, behind the scenes an the brother. I was BLESSED in July to travel with my Church from Northeastern KY to Wolf Point Montana; where we did a 5 Day VBS in 3 days sharing GOD'S WORD and LOVE with these Native American and American Children. I was BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE by this 9 Day Mission Trip that nor only allowed me to share GOD'S WORD AND LOVE with these Children,but also allowed me to see sites in America that I had never seen before. The Heart Breaker was on Thursday Morning July 19 when my Pastor said that he had talked to the Church Secretary/Treasure and he was told that when she arrived on Wednesday Evening and she said "When I arrived their were 30 children waiting for you guys. They asked 'Where are the White People????' And her response was 'They started back to KY yesterday Morning and she said that the children started SCREAMING 'TELL WHITE PEOPLE COME BACK NOW!!!! WE NEED THEM NOW!!!!"

Thoroughly enjoyed this podcast! Love hearing more about each person’s lives. One question about Amber though, is she also enrolled in seminary studies?
Btw: I was really hoping Parker’s previous slip of the tongue about Tyler’s romantic stays was correct. Oh well, I still don’t know! Tyler is obviously such a good man i know God has a plan for his life.
